It’s been more than a year since Angelina Jolie announced to the world that she was filing for divorce from her husband of two years and partner of 12 years, Brad Pitt. Since that point the estranged couple has worked toward a more amicable relationship for the sake of their six children, while also determining the custody arrangements and details for a settlement.Angelina Jolie has been quite open over this period of time, giving a number of interviews during which the actress and director indicated how challenging this phase has been on her family and herself. Brad Pitt has also spoken openly, specifically with GQ last year, when he admitted to having done “too much boozing,” and seeking rehab treatment in addition to therapy following the split.Recently, Angelina spoke out about how she keeps her life from being empty. The mother of six admits that maintaining a “work/life balance” is key to achieving this. During an interview with Deadline, Jolie expanded on this point, as People has relayed.
“I think to be a balanced person, you have to find those things that you just purely enjoy. But, of course, if you aren’t participating in the bigger picture of life, and in being somehow useful, and you aren’t doing something and growing, then really, you’ll find you’re not very happy. Really, you’ll have quite an empty life.” Angelina Jolie is known for keeping her plate quite full by being a star mother to her and Brad’s six kids, in addition to still acting in films yearly and even now taking on directorial roles on such films as First They Killed My Father and The Breadwinner. The talented star also acts as a special envoy for the United Nations, and has done for a number of years.
It’s clear that Jolie has no problem keeping focused and busy, without having a man in her life and despite the challenging time for she and Brad Pitt, both stars seem to be getting through them just fine. The two are even determined to continue to work together on an endeavor outside of their film lives and parenting. Jolie and Pitt are set to continue to run their Miraval wine business jointly, which demonstrates how amicable the estranged couple remain. W has shared new details about the winemakers’ upcoming release for the week ahead.
Angelina Jolie Feeling “Vindicated” After Jennifer Aniston, Justin Theroux Split Is Made-Up Story

A new report about how Angelina Jolie feels “vindicated” after Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s split is entirely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct this piece of fake news. We’re told it’s “nonsense.” According to the serial fibbers at HollywoodLife, Jolie is “feeling a sense of vindication” that she had “nothing to do” with Aniston and Theroux’s split. A so-called “source” is quoted as telling the website, “Angelina makes a point to not read or follow any celebrity gossip, but it was inevitable she would hear about Jennifer and Justin’s break-up at some point.” The outlet’s alleged “insider” goes on to claim that the actress “has never cared for Jen, even before she started dating Brad.” But that’s not all. The online publication’s supposed “source” further maintains, “[Jolie has] always thought of her as very vanilla and shallow, and not on her level intellectually,” before adding, “Whereas Justin is quirky and edgy and super smart, so Angelina wasn’t surprised to learn they had split.” “Angelina can’t help feeling a degree of vindication, after all, she was painted as this evil home wrecker who lured Brad away from Jen. Nobody can point the finger at Angelina this time, or any other ‘wicked’ third party,” concludes the outlet’s seemingly fake tipster.
Of course, as Gossip Cop has pointed out on numerous occasions, no one in Jolie’s camp speaks to the aptly nicknamed HollywoodLies and most assuredly did not share her reaction to Aniston’s split from Theroux with the untrustworthy site. In fact, Jolie’s alleged response to the high-profile breakup is completely bogus, nor does it even make sense that Aniston’s split from Theroux would make Jolie feel “vindicated.” Obviously, Theroux’s separation from Aniston had nothing to do with her split with Pitt because of Jolie back in 2005.What’s more, the unreliable website amusingly claims it has a Jolie “insider,” but as we’ve noted several times in the past, the often discredited blog manufactured a slew of stories about her being on the verge of marrying a mystery British billionaire, who never even existed. Clearly, one should be extremely leery of HollywoodLies’ Jolie articles, particularly the ones involving Aniston.Basically, the entire report is made-up from start to finish, complete with fake quotes from a seemingly fictitious insider who can’t even decide from one sentence to the next whether Jolie supposedly refers to Aniston as “Jen” or “Jennifer.” Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie, who tells us the article is “nonsense.”

Nobody overslept and missed this class! Angelina Jolie taught a seminar on Monday, February 19, called “Women, Peace and Security” at the London School of Economics and Political Science. The 42-year-old Oscar winner, who is currently a visiting professor, spoke about human rights violations against women in conflict and their links to gender inequality. Afterwards, Jolie took questions from the class! Jolie delivered her first lecture at the prestigious London-based school in March 2017. “Im a little nervous, feeling butterflies,” she told The Evening Standard. “I hope I do well. This is very important to me.” The By the Sea actress had nothing to be worried about. After the lesson, students took to social media to praise her speech and share photos taken with their celebrity lecturer. “She’ll make an amazing visiting professor. So honored to hear her inaugural lecture at LSE on sexual violence, rape, working w/ refugees,” one student tweeted. Added another: “Incredible lecture by Angelina Jolie.” Jolie and Britain’s former foreign secretary William Hague founded the LSE Centre for Women, Peace and Security in 2015. “It is vital that we broaden the discussion on how to advance women’s rights and end impunity for chimers that disproportionately affect women, such as sexual violence in conflict,” Jolie said in a statement to The Guardian last May. “I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students, as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations.”

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Will Continue to Run Miraval Wine

It's been over a year since it was announced that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were getting divorced. One asset they will not be dividing up in the process, however, is their wine estate, Miraval, which houses the chateau where the couple exchanged vows on August 23, 2014. Despite reports from last March that Pitt and Jolie were looking to sell the 1,100-acre estate they purchased for $60 million in 2011 — and since put an estimated $10-12 million into with renovations — “nothing has changed,” a source told People. The parents of six are going to continue to use Miraval “as an investment for their children.” In fact, Miraval's latest release will debut this week — and their names will still be on the bottle. The fifth installment of rosé is even being described as "very certainly our best vintage since we began in 2012," according to Pitt and Jolie's partner, winemaker Marc Perrin. "With magnificent aromas of fragrant white blossom and fruit, the wine retains that touch of distinctive minerality drawn from the limestone soils, that is the hallmark of the greatest French terroirs," he told People. “But what makes this 2017 vintage really stand out is its silky texture which adds a very special dimension to the wine.” Perrin also confirmed that Miraval wouldn't be going up for sale anytime soon to Conde Nast Traveler last January, saying, “For years we’ve seen tabloid reports that the Château de Miraval is for sale, but it’s not true.”
As for the state of their current relationship, Jolie offered an update to Vanity Fair over the summer, saying, “We care for each other and care about our family, and we are both working towards the same goal. I was very worried about my mother, growing up—a lot. I do not want my children to be worried about me. I think it’s very important to cry in the shower and not in front of them. They need to know that everything’s going to be all right even when you’re not sure it is.” Meanwhile, the pair allegedly filed "a court extension to continue to keep their case in the hands of a private judge," per MSN, meaning they have yet to finalize a custody or divorce agreement. Any that Brangelina fans may have for a potential reconciliation is also bolstered by a report from last August alleging that "everyone thinks they are going to get back together. It wouldn’t be surprising if they announced that they’re calling it off and trying to work things out." At least we'll always have Miraval.

Loung Ung, who she has known for 16 years, complemented Angelina and showed her support for the worthwhile initiative by wearing a black full-length gown which featured sheer panelling.Loung wrote the book First They Killed My Father, which Angelina adapted into her directorial passion, which told the story of a young girl's version of the 1975 Cambodian genocide from the child's five-year-old eyes until she turns nine.Deadline previously reported that when Angelina was in Cambodia while in her 20s, she purchased Loung Ung's book from a street corner and became fascinated by the story. She said: 'I didn’t realize how much my education was lacking and how much I needed to learn. This book was an education for me — about refugees and what children go through in a war. I wanted to find Loung.' Angelina revealed that Loung went to Cambodia with her to adopt her eldest son Maddox, 16, and reflected on how she wanted to find the author after reading her book. She shared: 'It was an education about refugees and what children go through in a war. I wanted to find her.'
