Fate turns their games of tea parties, pirates and lost boys upside down, setting the stage for their iconic journeys into Wonderland and Neverland. Keira Chansa and Jordan Nash, both newcomers, have been set to play Alice and Peter, respectively. Reece Yates will play David. Leesa Kahn, James Spring, Oyelowo, Jolie and Andrea Keir are producing. For Jolie, this comes after she began production on Maleficent 2 in May. Oscar winner Angelina Jolie beamed from ear to ear as she emerged from Whole Foods with her big blended brood in West Hollywood on Monday. The 43-year-old actress-turned-humanitarian was joined on her errand by three of her six children - Zahara, 13; and twins Knox & Vivienne, 10.It was a surreal sight to see the Maleficent stunner - who boasts a reported $160M fortune - out and about in such a domestic capacity, buying her own groceries at a large store. For the family outing, Angelina - who relies on stylist Jen Rade - wore a long grey shawl over a white V-neck top, white purse, black pants, and matching black heels from Everlane.Little Zahara looked happy as ever in a cold-shoulder T-shirt over a matching skirt and sneakers while the twins twinned in grey T-shirts, jeans, and sneakers.Noticeably missing from Jolie's side on Monday were Maddox, 17; Pax, 14; and Shiloh, 12; but she did bring along a bodyguard who carried a shopping bag.The First They Killed My Father director's street sighting came after accusing her estranged husband #3 Brad Pitt of paying 'no meaningful child support since their 2016 separation' in a new legal filing. The warring pair formerly known as 'Brangelina' will face off in Los Angeles Superior Court this week to settle their ugly battle over child support and custody issues - according to TMZ.The Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees was ordered to return to the States with their children on Saturday by a judge, who 'is waiting for a custody evaluation by at least one psychiatrist.'The 54-year-old Oscar-winning producer is reportedly entitled to visit his children for 'no less than four hours every other day on school days and 12 hours every other day on non-school days.'Angelina's filing requested that Pitt pay 50 percent of the children's expenses, but he hit back that he's paid $1.3M in bills for them as well as loaning her $8M for a new home.Page Six reported Monday that Jolie has hired an aggressive new legal team headed up by Joseph Mannis, who repped Oscar winner Kim Basinger in her 2002 divorce from Alec Baldwin.Brad was last spotted Friday on the LA set of Quentin Tarantino's 2019 movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, in which he plays stuntman Cliff Booth for Leonardo DiCaprio's fading star Rick Dalton.

Angelina Jolie In Talks To Star In “Wicked” Movie?

Is Angelina Jolie in talks to star in the movie version of Wicked? A report claims the Oscar winner may play the lead role of Elphaba, also known as the Wicked Witch of the West. But Gossip Cop has learned that this story, which comes from a discredited site, is untrue.“Angelina Jolie Taking Wicked Singing Lessons,” reads the headline from Naughty Gossip, which contends, “Angelina Jolie has been taking signing lessons in London because she is in talks to star in the film version of the Broadway hit ‘Wicked.’” So-called “sources” are quoted as collectively saying, “Angie has seen the musical on stage three times with her kids and knows the entire score.” Alleges these untraceable tipsters, “The green witch fascinates her. Playing someone that is misunderstood and assumed to be wicked is something she relates to.”The unidentifiable “sources” go on to jointly assert, “She knows she can act the part but the singing scares her which is why she is testing herself with a singing teacher.” It’s further claimed that “after seeing Meryl Streep in the Mamma Mia film, Angie wants to try doing a musical herself.” The blog concludes by editorializing, “Fingers crossed. And let’s see if Jennifer Aniston is interested in playing Glinda!”There are a number of problems here. To begin with, it hardly makes sense to claim Jolie has been inspired to star in a movie musical after watching Streep in Mamma Mia, because while the sequel just came out last week, the first Mamma Mia film opened in theaters a full 10 years ago. In the years since then, Jolie has never made any known attempt to secure a singing role.It appears as if this unsubstantiated tale was concocted for two reasons: One, it’s piggybacking off the release of Mamma Mia: Here We Ago Again, and two, it follows Jolie taking her kids to see Wicked in London earlier this month. None of that gives credence to this story. In fact, there’s far more suggesting these claims about the actress starring in the big screen adaptation of Wicked are all made-up.
The last official news came out two years ago, when Universal announced a 2019 release date for Wicked. Since then, however, the project has remained in development. At this point, it is practically impossible for the movie to hit theaters next year. Not one of the trade outlets that cover the film industry has reported anything about stars currently being in negotiations, least of all Jolie. And she would likely raise eyebrows as a contender for the main character, since Elphaba is supposed to be a college-aged student attending Shiz University. When Idina Menzel originated the role on Broadway, she was in her early 30s. Jolie is a decade older than that. The questionable article doesn’t acknowledge any of this. Furthermore, Gossip Cop also reached out to Stephen Daldry, the director of the film adaptation, and we’re told through his spokesperson that it is “not true” Jolie is in talks for the role.Gossip Cop would be remiss if we didn’t also point out that these suspect claims are coming from the same website that falsely announced Jolie and Brad Pitt were “back together” last fall. On top of clearly knowing very little about her life, this online publication has also demonstrated it isn’t credible about the film world, either, including when it comes to movie musicals. Just last month, we busted the blog for a provably untrue piece that claimed Barbra Streisand was trying to overshadow Lady Gaga’s starring turn in the remake of A Star Is Born. Much like now, that report was also based on unnamed “sources,” but never corroborated by any trustworthy outlets. Conclusion: This article maintains Jolie is talks to star in the movie version of Wicked. But there is sketchy sourcing, a documented history of this site spreading misinformation about Jolie as well as other films, and the omission of key facts about the project. And even the director’s own rep, who is authorized to speak on his behalf, tells Gossip Cop it isn’t true Jolie is in talks for the part. We have also reached out to reps for Jolie and Universal for comment, but based on what is known, we’re rating this rumor a zero.

Brad Pitt has fired back at Angelina Jolie's claims that he failed to pay 'meaningful' child support to the actress amid their bitter split. In documents obtained by Dailymail.com, lawyers for the 54-year-old heartthrob claim that Pitt has paid over $9million to his 43-year-old ex. Jolie's claim to the contrary was 'a thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage' according to the filing. The filing by the Se7en star's lawyers say that he loaned his Maleficent star ex $8million 'to assist her in purchasing her current residence'. He has also paid 'over $1.3million in bills for the benefit of [Jolie] and the minor children.'Brad's lawyers say Angelina's claims that he's withheld child support are 'calculated to increase the conflict.' Attorneys for the actress alleged on Tuesday that the actor hasn't paid 'meaningful' child support for 18 months, according to other court documents seen by DailyMail.com.'As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation,' Jolie's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean wrote. The actress-turned-director alleged her third husband has not been meeting his financial obligations and has demanded the court force him to pay up. 'Given the informal arrangements around the payment of the children's expenses have not been regularly sustained by [Pitt] for over a year and a half, [Jolie] intends to file an RFO for the establishment of a retroactive child support order,' the filing says. She has asked the judge to arrange a meeting to discuss the issue. 'Meaningful' support was not defined in the filing and Pitt's team are yet to formally respond. A Pitt source familiar with the situation hinted to Dailymail.com that the actor would likely fight the allegations, commenting: 'Brad always fulfills his commitments'.
Later on in the day a spokesperson for Angelina explained to People why the star had requested child support to 'provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children.'The documents also demand that the divorce be finalized this year, with Jolie seemingly in a hurry to bring the battle to an end. Jolie’s net worth has been estimated at $160 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth and in 2014, she was ranked 74th highest-earning celebrity by Forbes. The same site puts Pitt's net worth at $240million. It's been nearly two years since their shocking split was announced. Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 citing irreconcilable differences. It came amid allegations that Pitt had been 'rough' with one of their children on a private plane. Pitt was investigated but cleared of all wrongdoing. It started months often nasty exchanges and the couple are still 'not even close to settling their divorce', according to E! News.'They are so hung up on dealing with the custody issues' that the rest of the proceedings have not yet advanced, according to the site. The duo's divorce has apparently ground to a halt over disagreements about how much time Pitt gets with their six children; Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, Vivienne, 10 and Knox, 10.And it's these discussions that have held up the rest of the divorce proceedings -such as division of assets- with E!'s sources describing the process as being at 'kind of at an impasse at this point'.And according to UsWeekly, a major reason for the holdup is the Maleficent actress' resentment towards her World War Z star ex.'She can't see past her anger for Brad that he is on his way to getting joint custody,' said the magazine's source.
Jolie is allegedly making the divorce negotiations and child custody battle very hostile and has been 'out for blood' ever since her September 2016 divorce filing.A source connected to the Fury actor told TMZ that they believe the Maleficent actress wants 'to kill any relationship he has with his kids'.They also claim that there has been a lot of screaming on Jolie's part, adding, 'She's fueled with anger and has gotten ridiculously unreasonable.'It's become so bad that the mother-of-six's lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented many divorcing celebrities over the years, is apparently going to quit and has 'made it known' to Jolie because it's become too 'venomous'.Wasser, who has worked for stars such as Ashton Kutcher during his split from Demi Moore, Heidi Klum and Seal as well as Mariah Carey amid her divorce from Nick Cannon, promotes settlements and co-parenting.TMZ claims the Wanted actress has already hired another law firm to take over when Wasser officially leaves. However Angelina's people have disputed that account. 'I've spoken directly to Laura,' Jolie's spokesperson told PEOPLE. 'The TMZ story is not true. She's not quitting now or in the future.' Jolie is currently filming the sequel to Maleficent in London while Pitt films Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in LA.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly pulled out of upcoming Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland prequel Come Away at the 11th hour.According to The Sun, the Oscar-winning actress, 43, was due to begin filming in Bucks on Monday morning alongside Lincoln actor David Oyelowo. However, it was claimed that late on Monday, Angelina called producers to inform them she was pulling out of the project, leaving a question mark over the future of the fantasy prequel. The brunette beauty is still in the UK, however it is not known whether she will return to the role or whether it will be re-cast.A source told the website: 'Everything was set to get under way this week, it has all been agreed for months. Now nobody is quite sure what is going on.She's an A-list star and a total pro so everybody expected things to begin as planned, but the way she is talking suggests she won't now take the role at all.'The top producers are hoping to persuade her to reconsider so they can get things moving, but there are also contingency plans being considered to keep things on track.' MailOnline has contacted representatives for Angelina for comment.Come Away sees Alice and Peter Pan as siblings, with Angelina and David playing their parents. When their brother tragically dies, the pair unite to save their parent from their grief. The alleged withdrawal from the film project comes after Angelina accused Brad Pitt of failing to support their kids financially amid the couple's long-running divorce. Attorneys for the actress alleged on Tuesday that the 54-year-old actor hasn't paid 'meaningful' child support for 18 months, according to court documents seen by DailyMail.com.'As of present, [Pitt] has paid no meaningful child support since separation,' Jolie's attorney, Samantha Bley DeJean wrote. The actress-turned-director alleged her third husband has not been meeting his financial obligations and has demanded the court force him to pay up.
