“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” actress Jenn Murray is joining the cast of “Maleficent 2” starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning, sources tell Variety.Michelle Pfeiffer, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Ed Skrein are also on board to star. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” helmer Joachim Ronning is set to direct.Joe Roth is producing the film, with Jez Butterworth and Linda Woolverton penning the latest script. Micah Fitzerman-Blue and Noah Harpster wrote the most recent draft.It is not clear where this film will pick up following the first movie, which was based on the fairy tale “Sleeping Beauty.” The original story centered on an evil fairy who cursed an infant princess to eternal sleep, only to realize the young girl was the only one who could save the kingdom from its dangerous ruler. “Maleficent” broke several box office records on its way to making $758.5 million worldwide.Details behind Murray’s role are currently unknown. Production on the sequel is set to start in 2018.Along with appearing in “Fantastic Beasts,” Murray’s other recent credits include “Brooklyn” and “Love and Friendship.” On the TV side, she has appeared in “Truckers” and “The Fades.” She is repped by the Curtis Brown Group and Thruline Entertainment.

Angelina recently announced her newest venture in the world of cinema, a project about Olympian Jim Thorpe.The Oscar winner will oversee a movie called Bright Path: The Jim Thorpe Story based on the life of the renowned Olympic champion according to Variety.Considered one of the greatest modern day athletes, Thorpe was a member of the Sac and Fox Nation and went on to will two Olympic golds in 1912.

Mother's Day is only a day away.But it seems Pax Jolie-Pitt may have wanted to get a jump on the holiday, as he and his mom Angelina had a delicious lunch together on Saturday.The 42-year-old Salt actress looked to be having a ball while out and about with her son.The mother-of-six chose a loose black top for the outing, which featured a scoop neck.She wore a flowy black jacket over top, which fell almost all the way to her knees.High waist trousers mostly masked her lithe legs, while short, classic heels added only an inch or so to her 5ft7in frame.Accessories were limited to a pair of classic gold frame aviator shades and small black purse. Her brunette tresses were parted on the right, and fell straight down, just past her shoulders.The Maleficent star looked quite youthful, and appeared to only have adorned her visage with light blush and some nude lipstick. Angelina Jolie is “furious” over Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt’s supposed baby plans, according to a completely wrong tabloid story. Gossip Cop can debunk this phony claim. It was fabricated based on an equally bogus premise.As Gossip Cop reported, on Wednesday In Touch published an entirely made-up cover story that inanely and untruthfully announced Aniston and Pitt are planning to have a baby together. It was alleged that after they “reconnected” following their respective breakups with Justin Theroux and Jolie, the former spouses had decided to “try” to conceive either naturally, or through IVF. Spokespeople for Aniston and Pitt, however, individually confirmed to Gossip Cop that these contentions were all lies.But on top of peddling this idea of the exes having a child together, the tabloid is also claiming to know Jolie’s reaction to their purported plans. After quoting a supposed “friend” as saying, “It’s the blockbuster news that friends, family and fans have been hoping for,” the outlet asserts that “not everyone is happy about the baby buzz.” Jolie is described as “livid that Brad and Jen are back in each other lives,” and “furious at the suggestion the two could soon be welcoming a baby together.” A so-called “source” contends, “It’s the ultimate slap in the face.” Still, the magazine maintains, “But they won’t let Angelina stop them.”
Of course, Jolie isn’t trying to stop plans that don’t actually exist. Aniston’s rep told Gossip Cop on the record that the claims about her and Pitt having a child together are both “absurd” and a “fabrication.” Similarly, a spokesperson for Pitt told us the allegations were “ridiculous.” So why would Jolie be upset about something that isn’t true and was seemingly invented out of thin air? The contention that she’s been “livid” over Pitt and Aniston being “back in each other’s lives” is also a provable sham. As People reported earlier this year, and as Gossip Cop has confirmed, Aniston and Pitt haven’t even seen one other in quite some time. The reputable magazine has even noted that “they aren’t in regular contact” and their relationship is “ancient history.” There is nothing going on for Jolie to be “livid” about.But in addition to its misguided Aniston-Pitt reunion narrative, In Touch has also been pushing this love triangle storyline involving Jolie. In March, for example, the tabloid manufactured a cover story about Aniston inviting Jolie to a “secret dinner” to clear the air between them. That, too, was also based on the untrue notion that Aniston was involved with Pitt again, and just like now, Jolie was described as “furious.” The outlet may keep coming up with new angles, but that doesn’t make them legitimate.
