Amid rising concern over her health, a new report claims the star knows her body very well and that she’s healthy! Rumors have been going around that Angelina Jolie’s weight has dropped to a shocking 76 pounds, which if true, would be very dangerous.Apparently, Jolie is doing her best to just ignore all the negative comments surrounding her ever-thinning frame. One insider tells HollywoodLife that ‘Angelina tries not to pay attention to what people say about her. She always tells her kids that what other people think about them is none of their business and she does her best to keep that mindset herself. But when people are attacking her over her weight it is very hard not to take it personally, it hurts.’They went on to explain that ‘It upsetting when people body shame her and make assumptions about her health when they have no idea what her health is like. She swears she feels fine and that there’s no reason to worry about her. She keeps up with her six kids and as far as she’s concerned that’s proof that her health and weight are just fine.’As fans know already, Jolie has been having primary custody of her and Brad Pitt’s six kids ever since the divorce. That being said, despite the fact that the man has received more visitation rights in the meantime, Jolie is still the main caretaker. As a result, most of the actress’ time is spent taking care of the bunch.‘Being there and present for her kids is all that really matters to her so she mostly just ignores this kind of talk. But she does wish people could practice more kindness and be less judgmental,’ the insider added for the outlet.

Angelina Jolie NOT Jealous Of Jennifer Aniston’s “Rising Netflix Success,” Despite Report

Angelina Jolie is not jealous of Jennifer Aniston’s “rising Netflix success,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can bust this story. There are significant factual inaccuracies that make the premise quite flawed.RadarOnline is claiming Jolie is upset to see her “nemesis” supposedly “stealing her Netflix fame.” It’s alleged Aniston’s “upcoming lead role for Netflix’s new show, ‘First Ladies,’ has Jolie gritting her teeth,” with the site asserting the project is “the television network’s first White House series.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “It’s really irked Angelina, who thought she was the Netflix darling after ‘First They Killed My Father,’ but now she’s playing second fiddle to Jen and she’s [angry] as hell over it.”The untraceable tipster goes on to contend that Aniston’s project “shows that she has more clout in Hollywood when it comes to this stuff” than Jolie. “Angie’s misery movies are of more limited appeal to the studio chefs,” claims the blog’s alleged “source,” who apparently doesn’t know the difference between “chefs” and “chiefs.” The publication also repeats its debunked allegation about Aniston being “ecstatic” to see Jolie “miserable” amid her “divorce drama” with Brad Pitt. That tale was “rubbish,” Aniston’s own spokesperson confirmed to Gossip Cop on the record, and it appears this new one is, too. If the website and its “source” were actually knowledgeable, they would know the “Friends” star is not appearing in a “new show” or “series” for the streaming platform. Aniston’s First Ladies is actually a comedy film. As far as episodic television goes, Aniston is committed to starring in an Apple drama series, which has nothing to do with Netflix.
That the outlet evidently can’t even get these basic facts right indicates that readers shouldn’t trust the rest of the claims. In fact, it’s also problematic when the “source” alleges Aniston has “more clout in Hollywood” because “Angie’s misery movies are of more limited appeal.” The Oscar winner is actually currently involved with three significant projects, which are largely family-friendly.Jolie spent the summer filming Maleficent 2, recently shooting began on her new movie Come Away, and Jolie voices a role in the adaptation of The One and Only Ivan. What’s more is that she’s a producer on all three movies, and both Maleficent and Ivan are Disney pictures, which show Jolie still has “clout” with top studio chiefs. With all that in mind, why exactly should she be bothered by a film Aniston is making? Just because Aniston is working with Netflix, which previously worked with her and dozens of other stars? This is now at least the third time the gossip media have tried to set up a career rivalry between Jolie and Aniston tied to Netflix, and at no point have such contentions actually made sense. And this current story, with its factual errors and glaring omissions, makes even less sense when you consider all that Jolie has on her plate right now. On top of her professional obligations, the actress is also co-parenting six children and battling with Pitt over custody arrangements and finances.Only a day ago, it was even revealed Jolie has opted for a new lawyer, and is “focused on healing her family.” The notion that she’s spending her time stewing over Aniston is a bit far-fetched. Indeed, our own Jolie confidante tells Gossip Cop on the condition of anonymity that the career of her purported “nemesis” is “not even on her Radar.” Presumably, the misguided RadarOnline isn’t on her radar, either.

Angelina Jolie Made the Case for Refugee Education in a Powerful Op-Ed

She said it's "how you rebuild a country."
Actress and activist Angelina Jolie penned a powerful essay published by CNN on the Syrian refugee crisis, which she called “a major challenge for our generation.”But, she argued, finding a solution to the crisis is not hopeless. She says education is the key to rebuilding war-torn countries and building up refugees to their fullest potential.“We often talk about refugees as a single mass of people, a burden,” Jolie wrote, saying we do not see refugees as individuals with goals and potential. But she said many young refugees aspire to work and study hard, contribute to society, and eventually help their homelands. “[Education], in the end, I thought, is how you rebuild a country: not with peace agreements and resolutions, as necessary as those are, but with millions of school report cards, exams passed, qualifications obtained, jobs acquired, and young lives turned to good purpose rather than spent languishing in camps,” Jolie wrote.Syria has been ravaged by civil war since March 2011. According to the UNHCR, the U.N. Refugee Agency, over 10 million Syrian people have been displaced during the war’s seven years — like Hussin, who fled with her family to Jordan when she was only 12 years old.Jolie said meeting two young Syrian refugee women with “contrasting lives” helped her to come to this conclusion. One, she said, put aside her dream of becoming a doctor in order to help raise her siblings when her mother was killed in an airstrike and her father was separated from his children. At 14, the woman married and became a mother. The Freedom Fund has found that many young refugee women have been forced into childhood marriage in order to avoid extreme poverty.“Even if the war ended tomorrow, she has been robbed of her childhood and the future she might have had,” Jolie wrote.
The other young refugee fled from Syria to Iraq alongside her family when she was 16. She enrolled in an Iraqi school, and is now studying at an Iraqi university to become a dentist. Jolie wrote that the woman told her she hopes to eventually return to Syria to help her homeland. With global conflicts outlasting entire childhoods, Jolie wrote that countries are “losing out on an entire generation of education and skills amongst its young people” — something she called a “tragedy.”“Conversely, investing in the education of refugees is the most powerful way we can help them to be self-sufficient, and contribute to the future stability of countries torn apart by conflict,” she wrote.Jolie, of course, is not the only one fiercely advocating to educate young refugee women. Perhaps most famously, Malala Yousafzai won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 for her advocacy for young Pakistani women’s education — even after being shot in the head for her work. And in Syria, refugee Muzoon Almellehan is referred to as “the Malala of Syria” for her refugee education advocacy.“We need education, because Syria needs us,” the then 18-year-old Muzoon said at the United Nations in 2016.Jolie concluded her essay by calling for curriculums to be established for refugee children in primary and secondary school so they are more prepared to pursue college. She also called for wealthier nations to “address humanitarian funding shortfalls so refugee parents don't have to choose between food and schooling for their children.”

Since returning to Los Angeles from London recently, Angelina Jolie has been seen out and about with each of her six children individually or in pairs. The public sightings come as she continues her ongoing court battle with ex Brad Pitt over custody issues as they seek to finalize their divorce. And on Sunday, it was the turn of son Pax, 14, to get his famous mother's undivided attention as they went for lunch together followed by a spot of shopping. The actress, 43, wore a strapless camel-colored dress that revealed her cleavage and arm tattoos. She added a matching wrap and matching heels for the Sunday outing.Jolie left her brunette locks loose and tumbling around her shoulders and sported a pair of round gold-framed sunglasses.Pax, whom she adopted from Vietnam in 2007 when he was three, was dressed in a red and black plaid shirt worn undone over a black tee.He wore faded blue jeans and a pair of red and white sneakers along with sunglasses. The two were accompanied by a heavy security presence as they visited trendy Melrose Avenue. The divorce between the two Hollywood stars took a nasty turn earlier this month after Jolie accused Pitt, 54, of being a 'deadbeat dad'.The actor responded by revealing he had paid millions to his estranged wife including lending her money to buy a family home in LA since she filed for divorce in September 2016.After duking it out in public, the Maleficent star let it be known last week that she has had a change of heart and wants an amicable end to her marriage. And last Wednesday, news broke that the celebrity exes, who share six children, have reached an interim custody arrangement.
The agreement means that a scheduled custody hearing will no longer go ahead, ET reported.According to The Blast, Jolie and Pitt have agreed temporary custody issues for one month as a custody evaluation continues in Los Angeles. The evaluator is gathering information from both parents as well as the kids - Maddox, 17. Pax, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old-twins Vivienne and Knox.Jolie recently returned to LA from London where she was filming Maleficent 2 and where the children were primarily residing with their mother. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016 and sought custody of their children. Pitt countered by asking for joint custody. A judge overseeing the case has previously cautioned Jolie for allegedly not helping the kids have a relationship with Pitt and threatening to reduce her time with them. ET's source told the entertainment outlet Wednesday: 'Angelina is enjoying the last few days of summer before school starts,' adding, 'she is helping the children heal with their father.' A week ago, Jolie was seen out and about running errands with son Knox, smiling happily as she treated the youngster to some frozen yogurt. And last Tuesday, Jolie was in good spirits as she enjoyed a shopping trip in LA with her two eldest daughters, Shiloh and Zahara.
