BRAD Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s wine from their French vineyard has gone on sale in a UK supermarket for the first time after winning rave reviews from critics.Marks & Spencer is stocking a limited supply of the 2014 rose. The £18-a-bottle wine is produced at the couple’s Chateau Miraval estate, where they married last August, in conjunction with the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel.Wine Spectator ranked the first vintage at 84 in its list of the top 100 wines of 2013, the only rose included.Decanter magazine described it as having power and elegance with a delicious mouthwatering finish. The wine has sold in the UK through specialist wine merchants but M&S is the fi rst to offer it on the high street. They describe it as an “intriguing pale pink rose with strawberry, white pear and fl oral aromas” with summer berry, wild herb and tangy tangerine flavours balanced by a refreshing acidity.M&S drinks buyer Emma Dawson said: “We’re excited to be launching what could well be the most famous rose in the world.“Not only does Miraval boast A-lister owners, it’s a lovely, crisp rose, perfect for summer.”

Angelina Jolie’s ‘Africa’ Project On Shaky Ground As Skydance Searches For Partner

Africa, the feature about paleo-archaeologist Richard Leaky’s battle with ivory poachers in Kenya that was to be directed by Angelina Jolie and star her husband Brad Pitt, is said to be on shaky ground. The feature was being produced through David Ellison’s Skydance Productions from a script by Oscar winner Eric Roth.Sources close to the project say things started to turn just recently over budget and creative issues. Tons of development money was poured into this project over years. Sources said that Ellison was going to put in 50% and then pulled back and said Skydance would put in 25%. This stemmed from creative differences over script; one of the complicating factors that contributed to where the film is now, is the role that the love story would play in the movie. Jolie always intended for the love story to be only a part of the movie; Skydance wanted the love story to become the centerpiece of the film. That’s not the film that Jolie was making. After that, Skydance halved its commitment, though sources on that side denied Skydance was ever in for more than 25%, the same commitment that Paramount Pictures made to the financing equation. Regardless, the budget is at $110M, and people are blinking. (Hey, everyone, we’re not in the ’80s anymore.) A draft of the script came in about five weeks ago. With a sweeping epic — and budget — of this nature, they are at odds now as to how to move forward. This has been a passion project for Ellison for many years, and they are now reaching out to other studios to find a partner. If they can’t find one, the picture is likely to fall completely apart. Who might come in for a production budget plus marketing and distribution fees is anyone’s guess. Doesn’t seem realistic. Stay tuned. The project was to be produced by Ellison, Jolie, Dana Goldberg and Jon Peters and also was going to reteam 11-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins with his Unbroken director Jolie. In the past, Skydance has been the muscle behind big-budget tentpoles including the Terminator reboot Terminator: Genisys, which is coming in July. It’s also working on the next Mission: Impossible pic, a second Jack Reacher movie and Star Trek 3.

It's amazing what a bit of make-up can do.In a startling new tutorial YouTube star Promise Tamang turns herself into Maleficent, Angelina Jolie's character from the movie of the same name. But where the mother-of-six wore cheek prosthetics to achieve the unnaturally sharp cheekbones, Promise's bone structure is a result of clever contouring. This isn't the first time she has transformed herself into a Disney character though. Promise has previously made videos of herself as Elsa from Frozen and Princess Jasmine from Aladdin. When she posted a picture taken from the tutorial to Instagram many of her followers couldn't believe their eyes. One commented: 'this girl is RIDICULOUSLY TALENTED! She can make herself look like anyone with her makeup shading including lips! Crazy.'On the video she reveals her step-by-step process beginning with a thick all-over pale foundation. Over the top of that she sucked in her cheeks to begin the contouring technique made famous by Kim Kardashian. But while the reality star makes sure her maquillage is properly blended, Promise shows how she draws a sharp line diagonally along the length of her cheekbones to create the character's highly chiselled bone structure. To highlight them even more, she added another layer of even paler make-up to the tops of her cheekbones and under her eyes.Next came perfectly applied berry lipstick and long black eyelashes applied with tweezers. The finished result is uncannny as she dons a latex headdress with horns just like Jolie's own in the retelling of the classic Sleeping Beauty fairy tale. One commenter wrote: 'Your [sic] amazing at what you do.Promise has been posting YouTube make-up tutorials for six years now having started her channel in 2009 and now has 2.8 million subscribers. On her YouTube profile she writes: 'I use make-up to transform myself into famous celebrities and characters.'It started out as a hobby 4 years ago and now I am here using this awesome platform to teach and entertain millions around the world.'
