Photos of Angelina Jolie at the tender age of 16, trying to make it as a model have emerged. The mother-of-six once posed provocatively for a photo shoot in just a bikini, using a sheer scarf as a prop - as a veil, as a headdress and as a screen in some instances - as she pouted those famous lips at the camera.Angelina, who has now gone on to become a two-time Oscar recipient, took part in the shoot in 1991 for celebrity photographer Sean McCall. In another setting, Angelina has had a costume change into a black onesie, with pearl embellished straps.Angelina, who is now married to Brad Pitt, wears her hair up and fairly minimal make-up but uses her hands in a number of poses - across her chest and placed seductively on her thighs. The series of shots certainly highlight Angelina’s ability to tell a story - going from Lolita to rebel and innocent teen.Using a chair as a prop into another shot, the teenage Angelina climbing on to the seat while wearing a black PVC all in one with black lace pedal pushers. While in another set of photos, Angelina wears a plunging purple leotard over a matching sheer scarf she's used as a wraparound.Angelina admits that she had troubled years as a teen - at just the age of 14, she was allowed to move her older boyfriend into the home that she shared with her mum Marcheline Bertrand. The Unbroken director has openly talked about suffering from bouts of depression, as well as dropping out of acting classes at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.Angelina was also estranged from her father, Hollywood actor John Voight, she later returned to theatre studies and graduated from Beverly Hills High School."I had that problem early on when I couldn't feel a bond with another human being. Mostly it was all about trying to connect," she has said. It's not the first time that previously unseen photos of a young Angelina have emerged, last year photos from a 1994 shoot of Angelina emerged.

Even Angelina Jolie had to wait a while to find her Mr. Right!"At 20, we're all looking for Prince Charming, the big handsome hunk, only we're generally disappointed because of his instability," the actress tells France's Dandy magazine. "At 40, you know what you want: a real man."Jolie, 39, found her "real man" in Brad Pitt, 51, and opened up about their family-centric wedding at their French estate."It wasn't a wedding in grand style, but we were all very at ease, very cool," she tells the mag. "It was absolutely adorable to see how excited [our children] were by the idea, and how much they were all involved.""For example, we told Knox and Shiloh they'd carry the rings without specifying they'd have a cushion to carry them," she continues. "On the day, they arrived with two matched cushions on their own. I imagine they'd seen it in a movie. In short, they were so cute!"Jolie's recent focus has been on her work behind the camera – directing Unbroken and furthering her humanitarian efforts, including recently launching the Centre on Women, Peace and Security at the London School of Economics."It's somewhat personal," she tells Dandy of why she's been appearing in front of the camera less frequently. "When my mother died, I realized how much my being an actress was linked to her desire to be an actress herself, and especially what satisfaction it brought her when she saw me onscreen. Once she was gone, I didn't feel the same attraction for it."
Jolie, who lost her mother to ovarian cancer in 2007, says she now gets more satisfaction from letting other people have the spotlight."What I really like is to be behind the camera, to put others into the light," she explains. "Being in the spotlight's shine doesn't interest me. I prefer to have my head almost underwater ... than be dainty in front of the cameras."The mother of six also opened up about her favorite indulgence – "all the rosés of Provence, [France].""Drinking a glass of wine with friends, people we love – there's nothing better to take away bad toxins," she says.Jolie and Pitt created their own wine – the Miraval Rosé – produced from grapes grown at the vineyards at their estate, Château Miraval in Correns, France."Growing vines, harvesting, barreling them is an interesting experience," Jolie tells the magazine. "I learned a lot these last years. I've realized that making wine isn't something that's improvised. It takes hard work."
Will She Let Her Kids Get Tattoos? Jolie proudly flaunts several tattoos – including the map coordinates of the birthplaces of all her children and Pitt – so she doesn't think she can prevent her own children from getting inked someday."I don't see how I'll be able to stop them later on," she says in the interview. "They only need to look at me to know that I've very few arguments to dissuade them. Brad, he's much firmer on the question: It's 'nyet'!"

Angelina Jolie was in London for a meeting with form er Foreign Secretary William Hague where her alarmingly thin legs caused concern. The 39-year-old actress perhaps attempted to stave off those shocked glances as she returned home on Wednesday with her twins Vivienne and Knox in tow.Angelina wore a cream coat that camouflaged her upper body, but her legs in dark blue trousers appeared to be even skinnier than even her five-year-olds' while strolling through Los Angeles International Airport hand-in-hand with her children. The mother-of-six hid her eyes behind large-framed shades, her long brown hair swept back from her face and allowed to tumble down her back.Angelina's slender figure has been questioned before, and while in London on Tuesday, her reed-thin limbs were on display as she arrived for her meet and greet with Hague. All eyes were on her legs that she set off in a tight-fitting, grey pencil skirt matched with a tailored jacket and nude high heels.Angelina founded the campaign with Hague in 2012 to end violence against women in conflict zones, and was back in the historic city to promote it.She spent only two days in London before making the long 10-hour-plus flight back to Los Angeles.Meanwhile, she may still be planning to attend The Oscars on February 22 even though her World War II drama Unbroken was snubbed in the Best Director and Best Picture categories3The movie - which so far has grossed more than $100 million worldwide - is at least nominated for Best Cinematography, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing.Angelina's father, Jon Voight, thinks she 'deserved' to be nominated for Best Director at the upcoming Oscars.
The Ray Donovan star told Vulture.com: 'I wish she had [been nominated], because I think she deserved it. I think her direction is astounding, really astounding, and if she wasn't my daughter, I'd still say, 'I want to work for that one.' "The 76-year-old actor thinks the brunette beauty, who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in Girl, Interrupted in 2000, has proven she has the skills to work behind the camera.According to Vulture.com, he told reporters at Clive Davis' pre-Grammys gala in Beverly Hills on Saturday: 'She's a great actor's director - the pace of the film, the size of the film. Unbelievably difficult stuff that she accomplished."Angelina and Jon were estranged for eight years after he accused her of having 'serious mental problems' but repaired the relationship in 2010.But despite being on amicable terms again, he wasn't invited to her low-key wedding to Brad Pitt in France last August. After finding out the news, he said: 'It sounds like it was a wonderful wedding. It must have been very beautiful with the kids participating.'I know it was during the Emmy week and they were able to do it very quietly. I'm very happy for them.'Angelina and Brad tied the knot after nine years together. They met while shooting the 2005 movie Mr and Mrs. Smith, and became engaged in 2012. The couple are parents to six: Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
