Michelle Obama is now the most admired woman in the world, beating out former title holder Angelina Jolie.According to a new poll by YouGov, the former first lady also rose above Oprah Winfrey (who ranks second this year), Queen Elizabeth II (who ranks fourth) and Emma Watson (who ranks fifth).Jolie moved down two rankings, going from from first last year to third in 2019, while Winfrey moved up from third to second.Things have stayed the same in the men's top five ranking: Bill Gates in first, Barack Obama in second, Jackie Chan in third, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in fourth and businessman Jack Ma in fifth.More than 42,000 people from 41 countries were interviewed to determine the lists, the YouGov website states.

The rumors are true: Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Black Widow in a standalone film, while a slew of other female celebs will portray prominent characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And she says, it's about time.On Saturday at Marvel Studio' presentation at Comic-Con 2019, it was confirmed that a standalone Black Widow movie is in the works, and will see the actress reprise the role of her Avengers character. Cate Shortland is directing the new film, which also stars Stranger Things' David Harbour, plus Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz."I'm very excited about it, and I have to say, I was nervous coming here because we're in the middle of shooting right now, so it's not a time that you could ever share anything with anybody on any side of the movie, particularly in this universe, where everything is just so huge and the pressure's on. But I'm really, really proud of what we showed today." Black Widow is part of Marvel's new slate of films, where the girl power is strong; Angelina Jolie made a surprise appearance at Marvel Studio's Comic-Con panel to confirm she has joined the MCU, and will star in the studio's upcoming ensemble film The Eternals. Salma Hayek is also starring in the movie.In addition, it was revealed that Natalie Portman, who played Thor's love interest Jane Foster in the first two Thor films, will star as a female Thor in the upcoming fourth film, Thor: Love and Thunder. The movie will also see the return of Tessa Thompsonas Valkyrie, now confirmed to be the MCU's first LGBTQ superhero."It was amazing. I mean, there's a lot of women up there that I hugely admire—Angelina, Salma...Rachel, Tessa...Natalie," Johansson told E! News. "It's bananas. I think it's very exciting. I think it grounds the presence of the MCU in a way. It's very exciting to see such a diverse group of people. It's awesome. And it's about time." The confirmed Black Widow film and the addition of more female superheroes to the MCU follows the massive box office successes of Marvel's first female-led superhero film, Captain Marvel, which was released in March, and competitor DC Entertainment's 2017 film Wonder Woman.

A tabloid claims Angelina Jolie is worried about Brad Pitt using her past drug usage against her to win custody of their six kids. The story is completely made-up. Gossip Cop can correct it.Back in 2010, a man named Franklin Meyer, who claimed to be Jolie’s former drug dealer, sold photos of the actress while she was allegedly on a cocaine bender in the late ’90s. According to NW, Meyer has more footage of the actress using illicit substances and plans on releasing it amid her divorce battle.“Having Franklin rear his ugly head again with threats to release more sordid details of her past is the absolute last thing Ange needs right now,” a supposed source tells the magazine. “It’s hugely embarrassing since those days of being some scabby drug-dependent young girl are long behind her.”The suspicious insider further contends that Jolie “fears Brad can and will use anything negative about her, including her wild days of wayward youth, to prove she’s an unfit mother.” The seemingly phony source goes on to assert Pitt would “celebrate any new chance to take her down” as his estranged wife has “done such a number on him the past few years, making him look like an addict with anger issues. This could be just the ticket he needs to drag her back down to earth.”There are several issues with the magazine’s bogus article. For starters, Meyer hasn’t been threatening to release new footage of Jolie, despite what the tabloid claims. The last time he spoke publicly about the actress was in a July 2014 interview with RadarOnline. Meyer hasn’t come forward since, and there’s no indication he’s planning to do so now.Additionally, the photos of Jolie allegedly using drugs have been in circulation for more than a decade, and they haven’t impacted her custody or divorce negotiations in any way. The actress has very been open about her past issues, but she turned her life around a long time ago and has since become a staunch humanitarian, not to mention a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency.Despite the publication’s story lacking logic and evidence, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the actress, who tells us it’s completely untrue. Jolie isn’t worried about Pitt winning custody by using decades-old footage of her possibly strung out on drugs. As noted above, it’s unclear if new footage even exists. Even if that were the case, tapes of Jolie using drugs several years before becoming a mother and being involved with Pitt would almost assuredly have no impact on her custody negotiations.It should be noted, Gossip Cop has debunked similar storylines in the past. Back in 2016, we called out In Touch for wrongly reporting that Pitt would be using Jolie’s old psychiatric records to win custody of their kids. Prior to that, RadarOnline falsely claimed Pitt had damaging tapes of Jolie that he planned to use against her in court. This ongoing saga is baseless.

She just made a major step in her long-running divorce proceedings by allowing ex-husband Brad Pitt to spend the summer with their children.Now Angelina Jolie is welcoming a hopping new member of the family.The 44-year-old Academy Award winner was seen with her daughter Vivienne, 11, on Wednesday as the two headed home with a sweet white and gray bunny.Angelina was covered in white with a flowing sheer dress with loose sleeves.The translucent item hinted at the white frock she wore underneath.The 5ft7in Changeling star had her brunette tresses held back in a tight ponytail, and she covered up on the sunny day with a pair of large brown sunglasses.She filled out the outfit with a pair of brown sandals and a matching brown handbag with a thick strap over one shoulder.Vivienne kept things casual for the outing with a plain white T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans, as well as gray trainers.The duo headed out of PetSmart first with her holding a blue and gray rabbit carrier and Angelina carrying other pet supplies.Then they returned to the store and carried out the sweet bunny wrapped in a towel.This isn't the first pet for Angelina, who was known for having multiple exotic pets as a child, including a lizard named Vladimir and a snake named Harry Dean Stanton after the Paris, Texas star.During her marriage to Brad, the family got multiple gerbils and goldfish for the kids, and they shared an English Bulldog named Jacques.Now the kids will have a new buddy to play with when they spend their summer with dad.The children, who include Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 11, spent the previous months in Albuquerque, New Mexico in a Mansion used in the Breaking Bad series finale while she shot her upcoming film Those Who Wish Me Dead.
She'll be spending much of the summer away from home finishing the film, so she's offered to let Brad take care of the children while she's absent, according to a source in The Sun.Meanwhile, Brad is set to star opposite Leonard DiCaprio in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which focuses on an aging pair of actors as they struggle to adapt in the quickly changing film industry circa 1969.Margot Robbie also stars as Sharon Tate, the actress and wife of director Roman Polanski who was murdered by followers of Charles Manson. Angelina was recently back in the United States after vacationing in Paris earlier this month.She spent some time getting close to her Day For Night actress godmother Jacqueline Bisset.'Angelina was with her godmother, who is very important to her,' a source told the People. 'They’re very close, and Jacqueline is someone Angelina has admired for a long time. And of course, there is the connection to her mom.'Bisset was close friends with Jolie's late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died in 2007 at age 56 following a seven-year battle with ovarian cancer.
