Angelina Jolie looked like an average mom when she went grocery shopping in Hollywood with her daughters Vivienne and Zahara on Wednesday.Except the 44-year-old beauty wore gold-rimmed sunglasses the entire time.This comes after her ex-husband Brad Pitt told The New York Times this week that he used his 'pain, grief and loss' from his divorce to play a troubled astronaut in his new movie Ad Astra.While in the Gelson's supermarket, the UN Special Envoy took her time picking out food items as Zahara, dressed in black, pushed the cart.The red carpet fixture was seen in the spice aisle near a tower of Smart Water and also in the imported cheeses section.The Oscar winner had on a beige trench coat even though there was no rain in sight during the heatwave.And underneath the Maleficent star wore a white dress. She added beige sandals and a brown purse.The entire time the Vogue cover girl wore a pair of brown sunglasses with a gold rim.Shiloh stood out in a grey NASA shirt and a pair of denim overalls with grey Nike sneakers. Her kids Maddox (who is attending college in South Korea), Pax, Knox and Shiloh were not seen.This sighting comes after Pitt poured his heart out to the NYT.In his new movie Ad Astra he plays a trouble astronaut. The synopsis reads: 'A man journeys across a lawless solar system to find his missing father - a renegade scientist who poses a threat to humanity.'The discussion with the Times began when Pitt said he wanted his performance to come from a place of 'absolute truth.'He said: 'The ultimate place for my style of acting, as I understand it, is to get to a place of just absolute truth.'I've got to be experiencing something that's real to me for it to read real to you.'And Brad suggested his marriage split from Jolie - the mother of his six children - informed his work on upcoming movie Ad Astra.He said: 'I had family stuff going on. We'll leave it at that...'The fact is, we all carry pain, grief and loss. We spend most of our time hiding it, but it's there, it's in you. So you open up those boxes.'
Director James Gray added: 'He definitely used the stimuli from his life. 'Now, I didn't get personal with him about it at all - I don't think it's my business, or even my job - but he investigated the essence of the character through himself.'Brad and Angelina met on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith when she already had son Maddox in her life.They began dating either during filming or after the movie wrapped, depending on which source is asked.They welcomed Shiloh then twins Knox and Vivienne while also adopting two more children, Pax and Zahara.Together they share custody of five of the six kids as Maddox is an adult. Pitt was not present when Jolie dropped Maddox off at college in South Korea in August.The two have not been seen together in years and neither seems to have moved on romantically. In the same interview he talked addiction: 'I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges,' said the Fight Club star of his decision to join AA. Pitt said he found 'great value' in Alcoholics Anonymous: 'It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself.''It was actually really freeing just to expose the ugly sides of yourself.' Also in his NYT interview, Pitt said he plans to make 'fewer' movies.The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor is taking a step back from being in front of the camera because he's focused on his work with his production company Plan B, as well as hobbies including sculpting and landscaping. 'It'll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now,' said the star.'When you feel like you've finally got your arms around something, then it's time to go get your arms around something else.'But with the rise of streaming services, the 56-year-old star isn't sure how much of a future there is in long form story-telling.He told the newspaper: 'I'm curious to see if movies last, if movies stick around.'Brad enjoys producing because it means a much more simple day than if he's acting. Angelina Jolie has recently had to adjust to her oldest son Maddox being clear on the other side of the world.The Maleficent star recently dropped the 18-year-old off in South Korea for his freshman year of college.But the mom celebrated Labor Day with three of her other kids, taking them out to lunch in West Hollywood on Monday.Jolie, 44, stepped out after lunch at Fig & Olive with son Pax, 15, daughter Zahara, 14, and Shiloh, 13.The Tomb Raider star looked ethereal in a sheer white ankle-length dress with long billowy sleeves.It was belted with a rust brown leather belt, which gave the look a boho chic aesthetic.She completed the ensemble with a pair of silver-framed sunglasses and some white leather slip-on sandals with metal accents.The mother of six carried a large brown leather handbag over her shoulder as they left the restaurant.She seemed to be enjoying her children's company as they shared a laugh while walking to their car.Not present were Maddox or hers and ex-husband Brad Pitt's 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.She recently admitted that she still hasn't stopped ugly crying since dropping Maddox off at Yonsei University in Seoul last month.While promoting her upcoming superhero film at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim last weekend, ET asked if she'd stopped crying yet.She admitted she hadn't with a laugh, adding: 'Oh my god, an embarrass your children ugly cry! 'I also, just at some point, had the big [sun]glasses and the amount of times I turned and waved. I do know it was the one moment in my life I think I turned around six times before the airport just... 'And he sweetly stayed and kept waving, knowing that I was going to keep turning around. You could feel he knew he couldn't leave.' She also revealed that her other children shared in her emotions: 'What was very beautiful is the way everybody said goodbye. When it was time to take him to the airport — some jumped into the car to take him.'When you know that your kids love each other and you see the way they all — without any kind of prompting or pushing — give each other notes, hug each other, take each other, support each other, then you feel like they’re going to be okay and they’re always going to have each other.' Angelina Jolie has joined YouTube in the latest celebrity to become a video star. Is she gunning for PewDiePie’s 100million subscribers? Not really, the 44-year-old actress has joined the platform to share some worthy pursuits she has outside of her Hollywood films. That and in a week she’s gained nearly 5,000, which is a tad behind Felix Kjellberg’s impressive following. The mother-of-six has already uploaded two videos of herself giving speeches: a Keynote Address at the 2019 General Assembly Ministerial Meeting and another Keynote Address at The Hollywood Reporter‘s Women in Entertainment gala in 2017. Her biography on the site is awfully formal, as it states: ‘After years of dedicated service to UNHCR and the cause of refugees, Angelina Jolie was appointed Special Envoy in April 2012.‘In her expanded role, Jolie focuses on major crises that result in mass population displacements, undertaking advocacy and representing UNHCR and the High Commissioner at the diplomatic level. ‘She also engages with decision-makers on global displacement issues. Through this work, she has helped contribute to the vital process of finding solutions for people forced to flee their homes.’ Alright, so she’s not going to be playing Minecraft or streaming a midnight Fortnite battle we suppose. It comes after the actress celebrated the announcements at Disney’s expo D23 over the weekend, as she prepared to star in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Eternals. The story follows an ancient yet genetically-engineered species of humanity, the Eternals, which were created by the Celestials (that, remember, created the Infinity/Soul Stones), as they bid to protect the human race. According to JustJared, Angelina addressed the besotted crowd and told of her excitement to be joining the ranks.‘I’m so excited to be here! I think what it means to be a part of the MCU, what it means to be an Eternal, what it means to be in this family,’ she said. Angelina Jolie is not being forced into rehab for alleged eating issues, despite a made-up tabloid report. The story is yet another weak attempt at attacking the actress’s physical and mental health. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.According to NW, Jolie is “traumatized” over her 18-year-old son Maddox going to college in South Korea, and equally disturbed at the thought of her younger five kids following suit and leaving home in the near future. “There’s nothing she can do about this and it’s left her crippled with anxiety,” an alleged source tells the outlet.The unreliable magazine says the so-called “devastation and desperation” Jolie is feeling has left her “refusing to eat and at her lowest weight yet.” The publication further maintains that the actress’s kids are terrified for her, as are her close friends, who’ve supposedly put her “on watch by a 24/7 medical team to ensure she’s getting enough nutrients into her body.”“Her medical team has put her in an outpatient program at a clinic in Los Angeles,” adds the questionable tipster. “She will be monitored there by dietitians and a psychologist, who are helping her with both her mental and physical well-being.”Naturally, the outlet also throws Brad Pitt into the equation, claiming the actress’s divorce battle with the actor has led to her alleged eating issues. “The stress is literally eating away at her body,” says the seemingly phony source. “If she loses any more weight… she may as well accept being force-fed through a tube or pick out a coffin now.”
The tabloid’s bogus story seems to have been written simply because a video emerged of the actress getting emotional while dropping her son off at school. Gossip Cop already debunked the notion that Jolie is “devastated” over Maddox leaving for college when RadarOnline peddled the same narrative last week. Several trustworthy celebrity news outlets have reported that the actress is very proud of her son. Entertainment Tonight even made a point of noting that Jolie “has encouraged him to travel nonstop, to learn many languages, and now has plans for him to go to university overseas.”Still, Gossip Cop checked in with an individual in Jolie’s camp, who assures us she hasn’t been forced into a rehab for eating issues, nor is anyone in her inner circle worried about her health. Unfortunately, NW has come up with countless variations of this fake narrative, despite the fact that the actress has been steadily working while raising six kids.In June, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming doctors were warning Jolie to “eat or die.” Earlier that month, we called out the magazine for similarly alleging Jolie was risk for bone disease because she wasn’t eating. The publication has decided to rehash its phony storyline now that her son has left for college. It remains untrue and the actress isn’t having a breakdown over her kids growing older.
