       Anya Taylor-Joy was amazing in 'The Queen's Gambit,' but she missed an opportunity to co-star with Angelina Jolie.She's an up-and-coming star with plenty of fans on her own, but Anya Taylor-Joy still gets a thrill out of rubbing elbows with big names in Hollywood. Just watching her interview a chess expert is inspiring; everything the actress does, she does with full intent and passion.But there are so many things that fans don't know about Anya Taylor-Joy, from her background to her acting skills, how she feels about fame, and more. And one particular fact is that Anya auditioned (but didn't earn a role) in one Angelina Jolie film.As IMDb highlights, Anya Taylor-Joy auditioned for the role of Aurora in 2014's 'Maleficent.' Ultimately, the role went to Elle Fanning who was, arguably, a stellar Aurora. And in scenes featuring the younger Aurora, Angelina Jolie's own daughter Vivienne played the cursed little girl.As fans already know, seeing Angie dressed up in full Maleficent costumery freaked out most of the younger kids who auditioned. Ultimately, Vivienne Jolie-Pitt was the only kid who wasn't scared out of her wits to be on set with her evil-looking mom. At the same time, it was a special time for the Jolie-Pitt kids because they got to be on set with their mom and watch the movie once it was done.For the older Aurora, though, there were plenty of contenders for the role. Anya Taylor-Joy auditioned, yes, but Kristen Stewart was also a consideration at one point. It's interesting to see who was finally cast, because IMDb noted that many actors in the film were cast for their looks, more or less.
       Basically, Angelina (as co-producer) and the producers wanted to mimic the original 'Sleeping Beauty' film as closely as possible. So, the looks of the characters had to match up with Disney's original. To that end, Anya would have made a great Aurora! But part of the problem may have been Taylor-Joy's, at the time, inexperience. As Buzzfeed related, 'Maleficent' was the actress's first real audition! Of the experience, Anya noted, "It was my first experience of rejection, like true rejection. And it was Disney which, for me, was like, 'Oh my god,' even though I look nothing like [Angelina Jolie]. I definitely cried for a very long time after that happened." TBH, Anya could probably pull off Aurora, but it might be more fun to see her in a more Maleficent-esque role...Of course, there's plenty more to come from Taylor-Joy now that 'The Queen's Gambit' is over. Who knows what direction she'll go next. She may even wind up a Disney princess in the end!

A tabloid claimed that the Salt actress may have had footage of Pitt “drunk or yelling at the kids.” Gossip Cop investigated the claims and came to our own conclusion.Angelina Jolie's Revenge For Brad Pitt Involves 'Hidden Tapes'? Life & Style published an interesting theory as to why Angelina Jolie was allegedly “prolonging” her divorce from Brad Pitt. The tabloid posited that the actress wanted “revenge more than ever” now after Pitt invited German model Nicole Poturalski to the same French estate where he and Jolie tied the knot six years before. Sources told the outlet that Jolie was “humiliated” by the slight and was now “pulling out all the stops” to get her way in the divorce “once and for all,” and no method was beneath her. “Prolonging the proceedings is just the beginning,” a so-called “insider” told the tabloid, adding, Angie has secret tapes of Brad, and she’s angry enough to go public with them. The Tapes Could Be 'Devastating' For Pitt.In a subsection labeled “Dangerous Material,” the outlet and its highly suspicious source expounded on the mysterious “tapes.” The secret recordings allegedly consisted of security footage and “possibly Angie’s own cell phone recordings,” all of which were supposedly taken before Pitt stopped drinking four years ago. The source went on to claim that the hidden tapes “could be devastating to Brad’s image” as a “good-hearted family man.” It’s ironic to Gossip Cop that the tabloid was thoughtful enough to mention that Brad Pitt had stopped drinking four years ago, which begs the question: Why would Angelina Jolie drag out her legal battle with Pitt for four years before she revealed the supposedly damning tapes? Tabloids have speculated for years that one party or another in the divorce would unleash “hidden tapes” to get the upper hand in the legal proceedings, but such tapes have never materialized as part of the custody battle.Jolie has long been painted as the villain in the divorce, so it’s no wonder that this tabloid chose to continue this disproven narrative. Jolie is often unfairly targeted by the media, particularly from this shady outlet. Gossip Cop already debunked Life & Style’s report that Jolie was trying to destroy Pitt’s relationship with Jennifer Aniston. There was no relationship to “destroy” in the first place. The gossip rag also claimed that Jolie was out to destroy Pitt’s life by denying him custody of their children and dating his friend. That report turned out to be false as well, which happens a lot with this outlet.

           They've been legally separated since April 2019.But Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are still battling in courts over their divorce despite what appeared to be steps toward an amicable agreement earlier this year.The 57-year-old actor will reportedly get to spend some time this holiday season with daughter Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox, according to US Weekly. 'They can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve,' a sourced said while noting the pair had previously discussed enjoying the holidays together as a family when they were 'getting along,' but plans have since changed.The insider added that 'egos have once again derailed' the original idea of being all together for the holidays, but he will see at least three of his kids on 'Christmas Day.' 'Brad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama,' the insider adds. 'Sadly, their children are collateral damage.' The couple have been locked in court battles since Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016.They also have yet to figure out a permanent custody agreement for their children despite being legally separated for nearly two years.Brad and Angelina also share co-parenting responsibilities of Zahara, 15, Pax, 16, and Maddox, 19, who is legally an adult.'Relations between Brad and Angelina remain extremely tense,' the source said while nothing that Jolie is 'frustrated' with the setbacks.The Maleficent star is now 'more prickly' amid the coronavirus pandemic as she's locked down in Los Angeles and refuses to travel.
