Her next film is part of the Warner Bros. slate which will release in both theaters and on the streaming platform HBO Max simultaneously.Angelina Jolie‘s contemporary western Those Who Wish Me Dead will drop on May 14th of this year, as reported by The Wrap.The Academy Award winner, 45, costars alongside Nicholas Hoult, John Bernthal, Tyler Perry and Aidan Gillen in the film, directed by Taylor Sheridan.The thriller will follow a teenage murder witness who is pursued by assassins in the Montana wilderness, only to face down a deadly forest fire. The film is one of well over a dozen titles from Warner Brothers that will be released in both theaters as well as on HBO Max this year, in the studio’s plan to minimize financial fallout due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and prolonged theatrical closures that it has caused.The first title to drop in this simultaneous format was Wonder Woman 1984, which bowed on Christmas Day.That film enjoyed massive exposure and generated record subscriptions as well as views for the platform, as many viewers were still at home due to lockdown and social distancing.And while Warner Bros. is pushing forward with the plan, certain filmmakers are none too happy about it, including Denis Villeneuve.Villeneuve directed the sci-fi epic Dune, starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, which is due out on October 1st. In addition to Those Who Wish Me Dead, Jolie is currently wrapping up another buzzy title – Marvel’s epic superhero film Eternals, which is expected in November.
The movie will costar Gemma Chan, Salma Hayek, Kit Harington, Kumail Nanjiani and Brian Tyree Henry.Part of MCU's Phase 4, Eternals will tell the mythic tale of a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history.Angelina's upcoming screen time is admirable amid the pandemic being that she has been busy raising her six 'resilient' children.In a recent interview with Vogue, while also gracing the magazine's cover, Jolie admitted she doesn't view herself as 'a traditional stay-at-home mum' as she was 'was never very good at sitting still', but credited her six kids for 'helping' her motherhood journey.Angelina co-parents Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with ex and fellow A-list star Brad Pitt.Discussing juggling her parental duties with work, the Changeling actress stated that she 'was never very good at sitting still.' Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, travelling in the middle of the jungle somewhere. I didn't imagine it in that true, traditional sense. 'I feel like I'm lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom,' she humbly admitted.'I'm managing through it because the children are quite resilient, and they're helping me, but I'm not good at it at all.' And there is, allegedly, a huge possibility that the Maleficent star will accept Her Majesty’s invitation once it’s safe for her to travel overseas.Upon learning about the queen’s plan to meet with Jolie, Markle, allegedly, became enraged.After all, she has been trying to set a meeting with the actress for a year but hasn’t been successful.“Meghan’s been suggesting lunch ever since she moved to Los Angeles, but her calls went unanswered,” the source said.However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. It is unlikely for the queen to invite Jolie out for tea now that there’s a pandemic.The mom of six has always been very active with her humanitarian work and charities. Both bored with their humdrum lives, the Smiths are thrust into an unexpected adventure when they discover that not only are they both spies, but since they work for different agencies, they've actually been ordered to kill one another. Despite the fact that Pitt was married to Friends star Jennifer Aniston while he filmed the movie, he and Jolie famously struck up an on-set romance during the filming of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, with Pitt ultimately divorcing Aniston and publicly committing to Jolie to create the media sensation that earned the nickname "Brangelina." Though many people probably associate Mr. & Mrs. Smith with the real-life scandal that followed, the witty action comedy also stands in its own right, and fans have probably been curious about a sequel for years.However, according to Jolie herself in an interview conducted over a decade ago, Mr. & Mrs. Smith 2 just wasn't in the cards — and at this rate, the concept seems potentially impossible. Angelina Jolie is stalked by hurtful rumors that she’s starving herself. Tabloids frequently claim, without a shred of hard evidence, that Brad Pitt-related stress causes Jolie to restrict her eating. Jolie does not and has not starved herself over Pitt, it’s just a terrible trope tabloids use because she’s famous and thin. Here are some rumors Gossip Cop has busted about Jolie starving.
Doctors Warn Her: Eat Or Die.18 months ago NW ran a cover story claiming Jolie had been starving herself for 34 days and counting. After a humanitarian trip to Colombia, “she was faint, dizzy and breathless, and rumor has it staff sneaked her off to a hospital suspecting she was near-starving." A so-called source called it a “hunger strike due to all the stress in her life.’ Gossip Cop will point out that this isn’t what a hunger strike is. An individual in Jolie’s camp assured us that Jolie was not admitted to the hospital after her trip to Colombia, so the story was bogus.
Eating Rehab.A few months later, NW was at it again. It said Jolie had reached her “lowest weight yet" after sending her eldest son Maddox to college. Her ongoing divorce with Pitt wasn’t helping either. The Hackers star was supposedly sent to a 24/7 recovery clinic to help regain her strength. “Frail Ange” as this tabloid called her was not frail at all, for the story was made-up. Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie who assured us she had not checked into rehab for an eating disorder.
Down To 99 Pounds.The National Enquirer got conspicuously specific in its story about Jolie going on a hunger strike to get custody of her children. The Gone In 60 Seconds star was only eating “handfuls of grains and nuts” in the hope that Pitt would cease his custody claim when he saw how “dangerously low” her weight is. It spoke to a “nutrition expert” and a “longevity expert” for top quotes on how starvation is bad for your health. Gossip Cop busted this story by noting these experts “have not treated Angelina Jolie,” and that 99 was an extremely specific number that only real doctors or Jolie herself would know.
Pitt And Aniston Friendship Leads To More Starvation.At this point, you’ll see the basic story remains the same and only the motivation will change. This time the National Enquirer claimed it was Pitt’s relationship with Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Poturalski that had cause Jolie to starve herself. The tabloid said Pitt only started seeing the “younger version” of Jolie as some sort of direct slight against Jolie.This story was wrong for so many reasons. Pitt wasn’t flaunting Poturalski at all, he hadn’t even publicly acknowledged her, and the reunion with Aniston at the Fast Times at Ridgemont High virtual table read was greatly exaggerated. Jolie has a thick skin and doesn’t starve herself at every sign of strife.

Last January, a tabloid claimed Angelina Jolie got “revenge” plastic surgery after learning Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited. Gossip Cop busted the ridiculous report when it came out. Now, we’re taking a look back at the story.Angelina Jolie's Revenge Make-Over.In 2020, NW alleged Angelina Jolie spent $1.4 million on a cosmetic procedure because Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reportedly rekindled their romance. The tabloid claimed Jolie “hated that Jen still looks so fresh-faced at 50. She's had all this work done to try to outshine Jen - but it's failed." An insider revealed a few of Jolie’s plastic surgery included: Botox, skin peels, a nose job, and a facelift. The source continued Jolie “was going for this pale, ethereal look, but no one has the heart to tell her she just looks sick. All the work is giving her an older look. She didn’t look nearly as good as she did before." To conclude the bizarre tale, the publication maintained Jolie’s motivation was further fueled after “seeing Pitt and Aniston "fawning over one another at the Golden Globes - while she wasn't even invited.”
Angelina Never Got A Nip Or Tuck Done To Spite Brad And Jen.Gossip Cop had a lot to clear up about the report, but none of this was remotely true. For starters, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are not back together. The former spouses did have a friendly interaction on the red carpet at the Golden Globes, but the two have clarified, several times, that they’re just good friends. As for Pitt’s split from Angelina Jolie, it hasn’t been the smoothest transition. The pair are still entangled in a divorce/custody battle. But, the idea Jolie would spend millions of dollars to reconstruct her face for “revenge” is just plain silly. The actress is busy focused on her career and her children, not getting revenge on her former husband. Additionally, Jolie didn’t attend the Golden Globes last year because she wasn’t nominated in any categories.
The Tabloids Can't Get It Right About Angelina Jolie.Also, this wasn’t the first time the tabloids, particularly NW, ran this troupe. For instance, last year, the publication claimed Angelina Jolie dated Justin Theroux. This was another recycled tale ran by outlets. Gossip Cop debunked the phony report when it came out. There is no evidence to confirm Jolie even has a friendship with the actor. The magazine also asserted Jolie starved herself amid Brad-Pitt related stress. Gossip Cop corrected the story at the time. The Salt actress has always been thin. To assert she's wasting away over her ex-husband is absurd.
