Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh, allegedly, dropped her dad’s surname on social media.According to New Idea, Shiloh’s decision to just use Jolie as her name must have hurt Brad Pitt. After all, he’s still fighting for the custody of his children. “It’s a real kick in the teeth. This has got to hurt, for sure,” the source said. Did Shiloh drop Brad Pitt’s surname? However, the tabloid also claimed that Shiloh no longer uses Pitt as her name on social media. But in reality, the teenager doesn’t have a known social media account. So, it’s highly likely !r the tabloid to just be making up this story.Angelina Jolie’s children are protective of her. Meanwhile, Jolie recently told British Vogue that her six children are very protective of her. “We were on the trampoline the other day and the children said, ‘No, mom, don’t do that. You’ll hurt yourself.’ And I thought, ‘God, isn’t that funny?’” Jolie gushed. In related news, a lot of things have been said about Shiloh and her relationship with her parents.Shiloh refuses to hang out with Angelina Jolie. Last month, Woman’s Day claimed that Shiloh refused to hang out with her mom as she fights for her custody. The dubious claims were made after Shiloh went to Target with Jolie and her sister, Zahara.A source told the tabloid that Target has an online store. But Jolie still opted to go to the physical store to show the public that she has a wonderful relationship with her kids.“Target’s online. There was no need for that shopping trip and it was obvious to her that her mom wanted to be photographed. Shiloh worries how her dad’s going to feel seeing her out with Ange, doing something she really hates doing,” the source said.Shiloh closer to Brad Pitt than Angelia Jolie. A week earlier, Globe claimed that Shiloh lends her clothes to her mom because Jolie has lost a considerable amount of weight. In November, Star also alleged that Brad Pitt regularly talks to his daughter. “Shiloh calls him all the time for help with schoolwork, to ask his advice on what books to read or movies to watch, and he’s gotten her interested in history, painting, and even sculpting. And the twins talk to him about their interests – Viv loves karate and Knox is really into robotics,” the tabloid claimed. However, there is no proof that all the tabloids’ claims about Shiloh, Jolie, and Brad Pitt are correct.

The show will be based on the 2005 movie with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover will star in a new Amazon Prime Video series based on the 2005 film Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The movie starred Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as a pair of married killers-for-hire who are assigned to assassinate each other.I am trying to envision what Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag character would make of this news and whether her Mrs. Smith will make the asides to the camera that Fleabag was known for (please do). And! This not the first time the two stars have been in the same production; both were in the 2018 Disney movie Solo: A Star Wars Story, he as a young becaped Lando Calrissian and she as snarky droid L3-37.Glover made the announcement via a story on his Childish Gambino Instagram page, which was shared by Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke. She called the pair a “dream team” for the studio in a statement.Glover and Waller-Bridge will executive-produce Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Variety reported, and Francesca Sloane will serve as showrunner for the series, which is due in 2022.Waller-Bridge created and wrote for the hit series Killing Eve based on the novels by Luke Jennings, and is also a writer on the delayed James Bond film No Time to Die. Glover has won raves for his FX series Atlanta, which he created and co-starred in (its latest season has also been delayed by the coronavirus pandemic). Both stars have done other projects with Amazon Studios; it distributed Fleabag in the US, and Glover’s musical Guava Island was an Amazon Original production.

Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp both boast their fair share of cinematic accomplishments. Jolie is well known for her spellbinding turn in Maleficent, as well as action sagas like Wanted and Salt. She has also starred in a couple of heartwrenching dramas, including Changeling and By the Sea. As for Depp, he is quite the character actor — and Tim Burton’s secret weapon. He is well known for taking on Edward Scissorhands, The Mad Hatter, Willy Wonka, Jack Sparrow of Pirates of the Caribbean, and more. When the two teamed up for The Tourist, fans jumped for joy. Unfortunately, the final result did not live up to the hype, as the film premiered to subpar critical and audience reception, and poor box office results. However, despite the fact that the film flopped, the two reportedly enjoy working together, celebrating each other’s skills and character. During an interview with PopSugar, Angelina Jolie was asked to comment on “the best part of working with Johnny Depp,” and she highlighted the type of man he is. Jolie shared:
“He’s just such a nice guy. He’s so funny and so fun to hang out with. He’s just that friend you’re so happy to come to work and do scenes with. Plus, he’s such a brilliant actor. He’s often thought of so much for his deep character work, but it really comes from an artist who is willing to try things. He’s not just somebody who’s doing these fun [movies]; he’s a real experimental deeply-feeling artist, who gives a lot and is very gracious on set to everybody and to his fellow actors. He’s just a pleasure.”
The admiration Jolie felt for Depp, Depp also seemed to feel for Jolie. Depp noted that the two clicked right from the get-go.Depp has a lot of respect for Jolie.Depp told PopSugar that he would hope to work with Jolie again in the future. He commented on how great a person she is, explaining that she remains “grounded” in the face of overwhelming scrutiny. He said:
“…She’s a good girl. I have a lot of respect for her. In the face of all that she, Brad, and the kids have to deal with, being globally under the microscope every second of the day, she’s grounded. She’s as cool, normal, and low key [a woman] as you’d want to meet. She doesn’t take it all that seriously. She is a wonderful mommy, a great mommy, which you’ve gotta take your hat off to as well. And she’s out there trying to do things in the world, to help. She’s impressive. She’s a force.”
Though The Tourist may have been a flop, Jolie and Depp likely don’t regret starring in the movie, as they both got to work across from an actor they admire and respect.

Angelina Jolie on the VFX and ‘Extraordinary Detail and Care’ Behind Disney’s ‘The One and Only Ivan’

“My child, Shiloh brought the book to me, she had read it and she loved it,” Angelina Jolie says recalling the first time she had seen “The One and Only Ivan,” written by Katherine Applegate.Exploring why her child was affected by the book, why she loved Ivan, a silverback gorilla, and why he spoke to her led to Jolie stepping in, not just as a voice actress, but as a producer on Disney’s adaptation of the novel. Not only was Ivan based on a real gorilla, Jolie thought it was a great way for her child to learn about “what activism can do and what sanctuaries are.” But more importantly, “There’s family and self-discovery,” she says of the story.“The One and Only Ivan” centers around a gorilla who lives in a cage at the Exit 8 Big Top Mall. Having spent his life in captivity with other animals, he starts piecing together his past with the help of Stella, an elephant voiced by Jolie, and together they devise a plan to escape from captivity. The bigger question was how was director Thea Sharrock going to bring Stella and the animals to life when the film’s principal cast consisted of animals. That’s where the VFX team at MPC stepped in to bring Stella, Ivan and the other animals to life.“Any time you see a shot that has no humans in it, that’s CGI; it’s not just the animals. They also created the environment,” Sharrock notes of the meticulous detail that combines CGI, virtual production, live-action and VFX.Nick Davis, VFX supervisor, says “The biggest challenge for us was creating the photorealistic animals. That was the biggest challenge; finding that place where we built the animals so the animation team could add in that anthropomorphic movement and balancing that with a performance where they were emoting.”The film gave the team a chance to push the technology and build on innovation from “The Lion King.”Jolie, Sam Rockwell (Ivan), Bryan Cranston and the cast all delivered initial voice recordings which helped MPC shoot intuitively to get the best scenes possible. For the motion capture, Sharrock explains there were two people in green from head to toe, and a soft board skeleton, so if anyone needed to have contact, there was something to look at, “It was like working with puppeteers — it was there to help all of us.”
Jolie says, “We would do our voices, we would play with the scene and we would see what was created in CG and the VFX. We would redo the performance because the slowness of the breath or how long it takes to drag her feet when she’s tired. Everyone would take painstaking efforts [to recreate and readjust that moment] because it mattered in this film.” She continues, “I remember the first time I saw some of the animals, I thought, ‘There’s a soul to it.’“You don’t realize how much work is put into it,” Jolie says –MPC delivered 1055 shots for the film which took eight weeks to shoot for the virtual production and 12 weeks for the live-action. “Sometimes it’s obvious that this is a CG thing or some action. You don’t watch the movie thinking ‘Is this fake or is it real?’ You are engrossed in the emotion of the characters.” Sharrock adds the refining process was a collaborative process not just with the VFX team but with the cast, “The voice was where the soul began.” To get that right, she would have Jolie and the cast come in, “Sometimes I’d call Angie and say ‘We’ve done this scene 24 times, and you’ve given me 15 different examples, but something the animators had done would spark a new idea. She would get it and give me something new.’ Jolie jokes that she even had an elephant onesie that she wore for a few voice sessions, “That was my method moment.” But it wasn’t about watching nature documentaries or elephants. “You’re doing a being. What is this being? She has the weight and heaviness of being an older elephant. It was thinking about the being that had been captive and had been harmed, and an elephant who was worried about the next generation – what is the soul of an elephant, that’s what it was.” Jolie says her children were surprised by the finished product. “They were a bit shocked because it’s something that they hadn’t seen before it became real.” With the film coming out during a pandemic, she hopes the film will be released on a big screen when it’s safe because of the “extraordinary detail and care” the VFX team went through to bring Ivan to life. She notes the film’s theme of feeling trapped resonates with children at this time. “There’s something about the captivity of it too that I think was sadly speaking to children and helping each other through with feeling confined. I think it spoke to kids and touched at a good time.”
