Angelina Jolie is NOT planning on making a movie biopic about Celine Dion, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.According to Star, Jolie believes Dion would make a great subject for a film, and hopes to tell the singer’s life story. A so-called “source” claims in the tabloid, “Angie says the story practically writes itself, from Celine’s childhood singing in dive bars to meeting her future husband, Rene Angelil, when she was 12 and then going on to date him as soon as she was of legal age.”The tabloid further alleges Jolie is giving Dion time to mourn the recent deaths of her husband, Rene, and brother, Daniel, before making the supposed movie. The magazine’s questionable insider adds, “Celine knows Angie would love to work with her. It’s only a matter of time before they come together and make the film.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Jolie, who exclusively tells us there’s “no truth” to the tabloid’s claim that the actress wants to make a movie about Dion. Jolie is always circling many film projects, but Dion’s life story simply isn’t one of them. And a rep for Dion tells Gossip Cop she “never heard” of the proposed project.Of course, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised by the tabloid’s phony tale, considering that we’ve repeatedly had to correct Star for making up stories about Jolie. Due to their demanding careers, they are now spending more time apart than ever. Brad Pitt is currently filming in Los Angeles and Angelina Jolie is in Cambodia working on the film, First They Killed My Father.Although Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt plan to remain amicable for the sake of co-parenting their six children — Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7 — they won’t be married much longer, according to the insider.In many cases, divorces have been known to leave lasting effects on children, but the insider claims Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been living apart for so long the divorce may not come as much of a surprise for the children. News, Selena Gomez had Brad’s attention for quite some time. The two were spotted together at an after-party following the awards show and, of course, numerous photos were snapped and shared online. The publication shared details about a report where an insider addressed Brad’s budding friendship with the 23-year-old singer during an interview with Hollywood Life.“Brad thinks Selena is hilarious and contains a far-out side that need to be investigated on the big screen,” the source reportedly told Hollywood Life. “He thinks she’s the new It girl.” Yet, we are told Angelina, 40, is quite uncomfortable with the blossoming friendship. “It is been going on for months, and Ange can not help but feel insecure about it,” adds the source.Although the insider insists Brad Pitt would never cheat on Angelina Jolie, he does seem quite fond of Selena Gomez. In fact, it has also been rumored that Brad Pitt has been “meeting up” with Selena Gomez in secret.
Despite all of the divorce rumors, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have yet to actually confirm or deny any of the rumors. However, she did confirm that they are like any other couple. During an interview with The Telegraph back in November, Angelina Jolie revealed she and Brad Pitt have their ups and downs like everyone else.“Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn’t have made the film,” Angelina said. “To be clear: we have fights and problems like any other couple. We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space, but the problems in the movie aren’t our specific problems.”However, her statement didn’t necessarily mean she and Brad are headed for divorce. So, for now, all of the insiders’ claims are just speculations based on the couple’s demanding careers, which require so much time apart. As far as the public knows, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are still together.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's security guards detained a man who had been spotted lurking outside of their Hollywood Hills home last week.However, it turned out the man was not a trespasser, but a homeless man who had ducked behind the bushes to urinate, reports TMZ.The publication reported that after seeing the man snooping through the bushes he was detained until cops could arrive. However, upon arrival, it was found that the man had no outstanding warrants and no history of bothering the famous couple.The officers also checked the surveillance video, and the man's story checked out. Neither Brad nor Angelina were home at the time.The 52-year-old actor was recently spotted outside of the Grand Hotel in Paris, France where he is filming the movie War Machine.On Sunday the star was seen sporting camouflage fatigues for his role as a top U.S. Army general in the satire about the war in Afghanistan.The David Michôd-directed film is an original production for Netflix and Brad is producing through his Plan B Entertainment production company as well as starring.Will Poulter, Emory Cohen, Topher Grace and Anthony Michael Hall also star in the upcoming movie, which has also shot on location in Berlin, Germany, and London, England.And the mother-of-six, 40, has been busy promoting her animated film Kung Fu Panda 3, for which she voices the character Tigress.The family film, which also has Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, J.K. Angelina Jolie says she's raising "confident children."The 40-year-old actress/director, who has six kids -- Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7 -- with husband Brad Pitt, told Britain's OK! magazine (via the Belfast Telegraph), "As a parent, you want to create a safe, happy environment where your children feel loved and secure, it builds their self-confidence and that's going to help them deal with the problems they'll face later in life." She continued, "I'm very honest with them and I often talk to them about serious issues, so they're not scared by things they don't understand. I want them to be able to explore their own imaginations. Brad and I want them to grow up ready to deal with the real world and know that we'll always be there to support them." After Knox and Vivienne were born, "The first year was the toughest because I wasn't able to spend as much time with our children as I had before," Jolie said. "But Brad was great about looking after them and making sure mummy would get enough sleep and that everything was OK in the house. It was beautiful to watch him being so caring and generous, even though I could see how exhausted he was at times." Asked on "The Today Show" last week if her kids will follow in her and Pitt's acting footsteps, Jolie said, "I hope not!" "We've always said if they're going to be actors I hope they do something [else first] and then be actors," she said.The four youngest children nonetheless contributed animal noises for Jolie's new film "Kung Fu Panda 3." Jolie said "they took it very seriously.""They came in and said, 'I don't know if I could do this. I'm not sure if I can do this,'" she said, "but they really took it seriously as a job and getting it right and not doing a bad job."

'Maleficent 2' is a planned sequel to 2014's film of the same name. It is currently under development in Disney. Angelina Jolie, who plays the lead protagonist, is set to reprise her role in the upcoming film.According to /Film, Disney is developing a sequel for 2014's dark fantasy film of the same name. It was directed by Robert Stromberg based on a screenplay by Linda Woolverton. It starred Oscar-winning actress Angelina Jolie in the titular role of the good fairy turned evil sorceress.Details on the upcoming project remain under wraps but it was speculated that Jolie may return to reprise her role for a second time despite being well known to turn down sequels. According to Cinema Blend, she admitted that Maleficent remains one of her favorite characters of all time and wouldn't mind revisiting her for a possible follow-up.Two of Jolie's movies, 'Salt' and 'Wanted', had planned sequels but didn't push through due to the actresses' hesitance to return. She did star in the live-action adaptations of the popular video game franchise 'Tomb Raider' as Lara Croft for two films but that was in the early 2000s.
According to Cheat Sheet, it may also be possible that Jolie will not be returning to reprise her role due to previously stating that they would like to do more film projects involving her behind the camera instead of in front of it. She said, "I see myself moving into directing more and doing much less as an actor... I have a few more in me, ones I have been developing for some time, so I will do those before I step away."The 40-year old actress made her big screen debut in 1982's 'Lookin' to Get Out' alongside her father Jon Voight and went on to become one of Hollywood's most sought after and highest paid actresses. In 2011, she directed her first feature film 'In The Land of Blood and Honey', a romantic drama film set in the time of the Bosnian War. She went on to direct 'Unbroken' in 2014 as well as 'By The Sea' in 2015.Meanwhile, it was also reported that Stromberg will not likely to return for the sequel but that Joe Roth will stay on as producer. Woolverton is also in negotiations to return to pen the new screenplay.'Maleficent 2' is a planned sequel to 2014's film of the same name starring Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley and Brenton Thwaites. It will be based on the popular Disney villain from 'Sleeping Beauty'. Its predecessor grossed $758 million against a $180 million budget.
