Hollywood royalty, meet English royalty.Angelina Jolie and her son Maddox visited Buckingham Palace on Tuesday, not long after the actress delivered a speech on women’s rights at the London School of Economics. Jolie and Maddox, 15, enjoyed a private tour of some of the state rooms on the low-key visit, which didn’t include any meetings with the royal family.Jolie and her family made a visit to the palace back in 2014, not long after her marriage to Brad Pitt. A palace source told PEOPLE at the time that she met Queen Elizabeth for about 20 minutes and was awarded the title of Honorary Dame.Jolie and Pitt also joined Prince William and wife Princess Kate for tea at Kensington Palace in 2015.Earlier in the day, the filmmaker and activist, 41, gave a lecture at the university’s Centre for Women, Peace and Security, PEOPLE confirms. It is the same place where Jolie, as a visiting professor, will start teaching a master’s course in September on the same subject.Jolie’s lecture focused on women’s rights in refugee camps and how displacement and statelessness make women and girls vulnerable to sexual violence and other crimes. The class also discussed the connection between the field and the policy work that is being done by governments, as well as the current state of women’s rights. The subject ties into with her work with the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative, which she helped launch in 2012 with the help of then-British Foreign Office Chair William Hague. The two subsequently opened the Centre for Women, Peace and Security in 2015, with Jolie later signing on to teach a course.Yesterday, the actress and four of her children hit up a local London bookstore. “She bought about 30 books,” an onlooker told PEOPLE. “Mostly coloring books, a Harry Potter book, plus some book markers and Easter-themed project books.”Jolie will be heading to Geneva on Wednesday to continue her humanitarian work. She will deliver the Annual Sergio Vieira de Mello Memorial Lecture at the United Nations Assembly Hall, focusing on key emerging humanitarian themes and topical issues that continue to reflect the late U.N. Brazilian diplomat’s principles, philosophy, and work.

ANGELINA Jolie had three ‘magical’ tattoos placed onto her back in Thailand to symbolically bind her to husband Brad Pitt – just months before they split up.The actress and her former husband had a shock split last year after twelve years together – but back in February 2016, Angelina was so sure of her marriage that she had a tattoo tying her with Brad in a symbolic way. While on a break from filming First They Killed My Father in Cambodia, Angelina spent time with her family in Thailand where former monk Ajarn Noo Kanpai inked three intricate tattoos onto her back. The Sak yant tattoos were added to her skin using a series of steel rods mounted with a surgical steel needle – a painful process that is said to be more accurate than a modern day tattoo gun.Brad, who was in the city with her, added to his own tattoo collection and had a Buddist symbol tattooed to the left of his stomach – using the same ink as his wife to “symbolically bind them” as husband and wife.Ajarn’s tattoos are said to be increasingly popular with celebrities including Cara Delevigne and Michelle Rodriguez, and cost thousands of dollars to be done. They are said to protect those who own them. However, just a few months later, Brad and Angelina announced their plans to divorce one another after a twelve-year relationship and two year marriage. The 41-year-old actress split from the 53-year-old actor last September, but speaking to Good Morning America in February, the star insisted that they will “always be a family” when it comes to their six children. The pair have three adopted children - 15-year-old Maddox, Pax, 13 and Zahara, 12 – as well as threw biological children, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8.It has previously been reported that Brad had an altercation with Maddox on board their private jet shortly before the split. An investigation into Brad’s parenting was launched as a result – however all allegations were dropped after no evidence to support the claims were found. Reports now claim that in order to gain access to the children, Brad must undergo regular drug and alcohol screenings. She added: “Many, many people find themselves in this situation.“My whole family have all been through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children and my focus is finding this way through.“We are and forever will be a family and so that is how I am coping.“I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer.”

She's navigated one of Hollywood's most high profile divorces with as little impact on her six children as possible. And Angelina Jolie was this time guiding her brood through the busy streets of London on Sunday as she treated them to new toys from Hamley's gift store. The matriarch, who split from husband Brad Pitt in 2016, proved the ultimate model mum as each of her children clutched a possession from their family day out. Brandishing her ring-free hand, the actress lead Shiloh, 10, and Vivienne, eight, at the front of the group, while grown-up Zahara, 12, looked after Knox, eight, at the back. With moviestar good looks and impeccable complexion, mother-of-six Angelina stood out on the busy streets of the British capital, even top-to-toe in black. She was dressed in stylish flared trousers, with a lace slip peeping out from her open coat. Her look was even complete with dark nails and her raven locks left loose and glossy around her shoulders. The children - seemingly a four-piece in the absence of eldest brothers Maddox, 15, and Pax, 13 - were youthful in colour coordinating hoodies. At the front, holding mum's hand, adorable Vivienne carried a Gruffalo cuddly bear, while Shiloh clutched a Harry Potter figurine in each palm.Bringing up the rear, Vivienne's twin brother Knox held a large, orange cuddly toy, while 12-year-old Zahara seemed content with being the eldest in the party, on this occasion. Formerly a family of eight, Angelina and the children were seen leaving Los Angeles as a seven-piece on Saturday, with Maddox and Pax in tow.Jolie had adopted Maddox from a Cambodian orphanage in 2002, when he was less than a year old and she was married to Billy Bob Thornton. Her first divorce was finalised in 2003, and in mid-2005, she adopted Zahara from an orphanage in Addis Ababa.Angelina and Brad welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh, in 2006 and she adopted Pax from Vietnam in 2007, when he was three years old.In 2008, Angelina gave birth to the couple's biological twins, Knox and Vivienne, in the south of France.
Six years later, Angelina and Brad married, but after two years of matrimony and 12 as a couple, the pair made the shock decision to split last autumn. The divorce turned out to be one of Hollywood's most acrimonious, Angelina's camp initially took aim at Brad very publicly, and she cited the 'health' of her family in their divorce, last September.Brad and 15-year-old Maddox were allegedly involved in an altercation on board the family's private plane, in which it was believed that Brad was angered by Maddox leaping to the defence of his mother. The incident was later investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, who determined there was no reason to press any charges or keep Brad from seeing his children. Since then, Angelina has spoken of how 'wonderful' actor Brad is as a father to their six children. Angelina said on Good Morning America earlier this month the family is doing alright in the wake of the split.'We are...' she explained. 'We are focusing on the health of our family. And so we will be [healthier].'We will be stronger when we come out of this, because that's what we're determined to do.' On Sunday, never-before-seen images captured the moment Angelina received a tattoo intended to 'bind' her to husband Brad. The images show the star being tattooed by ex Thai monk Ajarn Noo Kanpai alongside her estranged husband Brad in Siem Reap in Cambodia, in February 2016.The Hollywood actress - who was directing her Netflix movie First They Killed My Father at the time in the country - had flown the tattoo artist from Bangkok to work on the symbolic inkings for herself and Brad to 'bind' them.Angelina, who is thought to have 15 tattoos, acquired three new mystical sak yant back inkings from the Thai artist, a style which encompasses lines of script, geometric patterns and animal shapes.Ironically, the former couple's designs were intended 'to symbolically bind them as husband and wife', yet their marriage ended later that year.

Angelina Jolie seemingly can't help being glamorous. She was spotted on Saturday looking the image of movie star style as she strolled through LAX, her six children in tow.The 41-year-old actress had popped on a pair of cat-eye sunglasses and small hoop earrings, trailing a Louis Vuitton suitcase.Accompanying the newly single starlet were her six kids - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox.Jolie had wrapped herself in a robe-like off-white coat, which she'd cinched about her enviably svelte waist with a black belt.Black bottoms peeked out from underneath the jacket, matching a gleaming pair of black leather boots. She'd slung a massive white handbag over her left shoulder, and seemed to have a black top on underneath the coat.Zahara, who's 12 years old, often kept a hold on the hand of her younger brother Knox, who's 8 years old.Meanwhile, Knox' twin Vivienne appeared to be holding hands with Shiloh, who's now 10 years old.As those two siblings held each other's hands, they were also both clutching into what appeared to be a stuffed dog in a pink outfit.Maddox, who's 15, had got quite a bit of luggage slung over his back, while Pax, who's now 13 years old, carried a bulging duffel bag.Jolie had adopted Maddox from a Cambodian orphanage in 2002, when he was less than a year old and she was married to Billy Bob Thornton. However, she'd adopted Maddox solo, per People, and when the marriage to Thornton splintered soon after, Maddox stayed with his mother. The divorce was finalized in 2003, and in mid-2005, she adopted Zahara from an orphanage in Addis Ababa.By this time, Jolie was romantically entangled with Brad Pitt, who'd sensationally left his first wife Jennifer Aniston for Jolie after starring with her in Mr. & Mrs. Smith.Pitt legally adopted Maddox and Zahara after Jolie did, and in 2006 they welcomed their first biological child, Shiloh, having decamped to Namibia for the birth.By the time Jolie adopted Pax from Vietnam in 2007 - applying alone because of Vietnam's law against unwed couples adopting jointly - he was three years old.Pitt legally adopted Pax in 2008, the same year Jolie gave birth to the couple's biological twins, Knox and Vivienne, in the south of France.Six years later, they married, but after two years of matrimony and 12 as a couple, the pair wound up splitting last autumn. After Angelina and those around her initially took aim at Brad very publicly, recently she has spoken of how the actor is 'wonderful' father to their six children. The 41-year-old filed for divorce citing the 'health' of her family back in September after Brad and oldest son Maddox were allegedly involved in some sort of skirmish on the family's private plane. The incident was later investigated by the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, who determined there was no reason to press any charges or keep Brad from seeing his children.Angelina said on Good Morning America earlier this month the family is doing alright in the wake of the split.'We are ... we are focusing on the health of our family. And so we will be [healthier].'We will be stronger when we come out of this, because that's what we're determined to do.'

It has been a long time since Disney's "Maleficent" hit the theaters, yet it remains to be one of the most memorable films yet, probably because it shifted the focus from the supposed protagonist to the initially thought villain, showing a deeper side to her. As such, fans are clamoring for a sequel to the movie, and it looks like the main character herself is considering her return. Many are hoping that Angelina Jolie reprises her role as Maleficent once more in the sequel.According to The Hollywood Reporter, Angelina Jolie is pondering on many acting roles this year, and one of them is reliving her role as the powerful yet kind fairy turned bad and then turned good again for "Maleficent 2." Although she has not officially confirmed this yet, it is obviously going to be met with jubilation from a huge crowd of fans. This was not the first time that Jolie was rumored to accept the role for the sequel. The Wrap has also mentioned that Linda Woolverton, who created the script for the first film, is going to write the second movie's script with the expectation that Jolie will be there again. There is no deal in place yet, however. The question on everyone's mind is this — how likely is Jolie to reprise her role? It can be recalled that she is very nitpicky when it comes to doing sequels, declining the offer for both "Salt" and "Wanted," which is probably because of what happened to the Tomb Raider franchise. If she accepts, however, then this will be a first after a very long time. She did, however, tease in the past that she could take up her staff once more, although she admits it is going to be difficult. "It's kind of hard to top her. She was pretty fun. Maybe I'll get the chance to play her again.""Maleficent" was a phenomenal success at the box office. With a $180-million budget, it was able to hit $758,536,735 worldwide, The Numbers has learned. One can expect that the sequel can, more or less, match that or even exceed it.If the rumors are true, "Maleficent 2" could possibly come between 2017 to 2019, although this year might be pushing it.
