SHE HAS appeared in a spate of hit movies and is set to grace our screens in the feverishly anticipated Maleficent but Oscar winner Angelina Jolie will eventually quit acting to become a film director. The 38-year-old actress seems to have fallen out of love with being a film star since directing the movie Unbroken and getting a taste of life behind the camera.“I prefer directing,” she says. “I love having the spotlight on somebody else. I have enjoyed being an actress and I am so grateful for the job. I have had great experiences and have even been able to tell great stories and been a part of stories that mattered. I have also done things just for fun.” The star, who has six children with fiancé Brad Pitt, also reveals that being a stay-at-home mum is something that she’d be more than happy with.“Acting’s a very lucky profession to be a part of and I enjoy it but if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy just to be at home with my children,” she added.Just last month Angelina admitted that when she was younger she always saw herself as an actress and was never particularly maternal.“I never imagined being a mother,” she revealed. “Then those maternal feelings evolved and deepened once I began adopting and started living with Brad, which made me want to have children of our own.“Brad is so good about taking over when I’m working but I would rather be home for dinner and read my children bedtime stories.”
