When Angelina Jolie awkwardly positioned her leg through the split in her dress at the 2012 Oscars, it inspired a multitude of memes.But Krysten Ritter seemed to be inspired by the actress's sexy display, as she dazzled on the red carpet on Monday.The 34-year-old Jessica Jones star showcased her toned right leg in a daring high-split dress at the 26th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC.The Breaking Bad actress draped a long cape over her strapless gown, and kept accessories to a minimum. A pair of scarlet heels added a bold splash of colour. To avoid a Chrissy Teigen faux-pas, the beauty held her jewel-embellished clutch discreetly at the top of the perilously high slash in her gown. Her dark glossy tresses were styled in loose barrel waves, which framed her pretty face. She kept her make-up look classic, with a cat-flick eye liner and bright red lipstick.The event is presented annually as the first such event of the film awards season.It honours the filmaking community with a focus on the independently produced films and is hosted by The Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP).The event will be hosted my funnyman Keegan-Michael Key best known for his work in Comedy Central sketch show Key & Peele.It will also include four Gotham Tributes focusing in on actors Amy Adams and Ethan Hawke in addition to filmmaker Oliver Stone and producer Arnon Milchan.
