       Angelina Jolie was the epitome of understated chic during a stroll in NYC'S West Village. The 48-year-old actress wore a long black, V-neck dress and matching heels, with a fresh cup of coffee serving as her main accessory. She wore her long, honey-kissed brunette tresses loose around her shoulders in an understated blowout. The Eternals star paired a set of thin gold bracelets with her all-black ensemble. Angelina held her black purse close to her chest as she strolled down the streets of NYC.  Arguably one of the most famous women in the world, Angelina rose to fame with her leading role in the 1999 film Girl, Interrupted. The brunette beauty's portrayal of the famous video game heroine Lara Croft in the live-action Tomb Raider films cemented her status as a global sex symbol. After two short-lived marriages to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton respectively, Angelina fell in love with her Mr. and Mrs. Smith co-star Brad Pitt. After the couple tied the knot in 2014, Brad and Angelina adopted three kids, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, and had three biological children, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. However, their love story came to an end in 2016, when the Maleficent star filed for divorce after a fight allegedly broke out between the couple and their kids on their private jet.  The former spouses have been engaged in bitter legal battles ever since, as they tried to finalize their divorce, solidify custody plans and fought over their shares in the Chateau Miraval winery. A year after she initially filed for divorce, Angelina told Vanity Fair, 'Things got bad...I didn’t want to use that word...Things became 'difficult.' Always putting family first, the timeless beauty told British Vogue in 2021 that her decision to file for divorce was for her family's 'wellbeing.' 'It was the right decision...I continue to focus on [my children's] healing,' the activist added.
