Angelina Jolie spent some quality time with her daughter Vivienne on Monday. The actress, 46, and her daughter, 13, walked arm in arm as they checked out different shops at The Grove in Los Angeles. The Tourist star wore a tight-fitting gray button down shirt and a beige skirt that ended at shin level. She walked in a pair of black flats and carried a purse with her that hung quite low from her right shoulder. The mother-daughter pair wore face coverings to the outdoor shopping center. The Wanted actress shares her daughter with her ex-husband Brad Pitt. The pair were married from 2014 to 2019. The couple have six children together. They had three biologically and adopted another three as well. Their six children are: Maddox, 20, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13. After the divorce, a legal battle over custody began between the two stars who originally fell for one another while playing a couple on the action-comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They are still fighting about custody of their four underage children as well as the properties they acquired together during their marriage. Jolie's appearance with Vivienne came just a few days after she appeared on NBC Nightly News to praise the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, a federal law that was first passed in 1994. The act provided funding to investigate and prosecute cases where acts of violence were alleged against women. It also established the Office on Violence Against Women in the Justice Department. Jolie said the bill was 'personal to everyone' and has had her own experience with the family court system after accusing her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, of allegedly verbally and physically assaulting one of their six kids on a private plane in 2016. 'It is personal to everyone,' Jolie said. 'Everyone who cares about family, everyone who cares about children, everyone who cares about their own safety and the health of their community.'He was cleared of any wrongdoing after an investigation by both the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services and the FBI. 'My children's health is my priority at this moment,' she added. 'And my focus for the last few years has been to help my family and … to focus on helping change laws to protect other families and other women and focus on their stories.'
