Angelina Jolie’s brother James Haven is making directorial debut in feature film by signing a science-fiction “The Last Boy.” The movie is from Traffic City Production house. The scriptwriter, Milo Addica, has adapted the story from the novel “The Last Man On Earth” by Thomas M. Burby.Contactmusic.com reports that the upcoming film will be James Haven’s second directorial debut after 2015. Last year he has directed a short film “Court Of Conscience” that starred his father Jon Voight as well as Anton Yelchin from “Star Trek.” Haven has also been the executive producer of documentary feature film “Trudell” by Heather Rae. He has also directed an episode of the series “The Game.” The Wrap reports that James Haven’s upcoming film is based on the story of a boy who becomes the sole survivor on Earth after a virus attack. He will start a journey to find a fellow survivor on this planet.The report says that the film is based on the city of Bangor and Brewer in central Maine. The story starts with airborne virus attack on these two cities that threatened humanity to survive on the planet.Brady is the sole survivor on Earth. And he is just a teenage boy who searches for fellow companions on this planet.James Haven’s superstar sibling Jolie has already made her debut in 2011 and is quite active behind the camera in recent years. And in 2011, Angelina Jolie has made her debut feature film with “Land Of Blood” and “Honey.”Later, she made other successful movies like “Unbroken” and “By The Sea” where she starred with her husband Brad Pitt. At present, she is working on a new project “First They Kill My Father: A Daughter From Cambodia Remembers.”The movie is an adaptation of a novel by Cambodian human right activist Loung Ung. It is a story of a girl surviving the Khmer Rouge Regime.When asked about her future plan regarding her career, the 40-year-old actress confirmed that she is not retiring from acting. And at the same time, she is keen about writing and directing movies.
