Angelina Jolie, one of the most altruistic and most polarizing celebrities in all of La-La Land, was the target of a Chinese cyber terrorist attack. On Wednesday, at 14:00, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) – an elite foreign policy group in the USA – detected a “drive-by” website attack on their computer server in New York City. The attack involved malicious software that penetrated the server and caused visitors and members of the site to risk losing valuable and confidential personal information. The FBI was informed of the cyber terrorism and subsequently launched an official investigation. Jennifer Shearer, FBI spokeswoman, told the Washington Free Beacon, “The FBI routinely receives information about threats and takes appropriate steps to investigate those threats.” A private security specialist, who worked on the case on Wednesday and Thursday, said to reporters, “This was a very sophisticated attack. They were looking for very specific information from specific people.” One of those people was Jolie, who is also one of CFR’s members. There’s still no word on whether Jolie was specifically targeted and/or whether her details and information were being compromised during the attack. Purportedly, the attack only affected Internet Explorer 8 and higher version users, and as we know and understand computing and internet browsers, not many people use Internet Explorer exactly for this reason. (The default Windows browser has suffered through several cyber attacks throughout its history, plus the program is too clunky and bugged to use) The full extent of the attack is still unknown, but security specialists have noted that all visitors and/or members who visited the CFR website on Wednesday were at risk of being compromised. According to the Washington Free Beacon, the CFR’s elite members list reads like a who’s who of politics and celebrity. The directory of those who were in danger of being attacked include, “NBC anchor Brian Williams, former Sen. Chuck Hagel, Current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Assistant Secretary of State Kurt Campbell, the Obama administration’s senior Asian affairs policy maker, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.), Secretary of State-designate Sen. John Kerry, former U.S. Central Command commander Army Gen. John Abizaid, and former Secretaries of State Madeleine K. Albright, Colin Powell and Henry Kissinger.” Is the Chinese regime behind this? Was this a blatant act of terrorism by China? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.

Angelina Jolie Getting “Extreme Plastic Surgery Makeover” Before Wedding?

“Bride-to-be Angelina Jolie plans to undergo an extreme plastic surgery makeover before she weds Brad Pitt!” announces the National Enquirer.According to the tab’s “sources,” the actress “desperately wants a head-to-toe overhaul, and an expert estimates it could cost her a cool $45,000.”“Angelina believes she looks old and she’s tired of it,” explains an “insider” for the Enquirer. What’s supposedly making Jolie upset? “She’s freaking out over the frown lines on her forehead, her jowls and a few pockets of fat that she’s spotted on her tummy, butt and thighs,” says the tab’s source. “But this isn’t really about weight. Angie’s main worry is that her body is starting to sag, which she absolutely hates.” Starting to “sag”?That’s interesting, because the Enquirer claimed Jolie had “shriveled to 95 pounds” just a couple months ago. It’s almost as though the magazine just kind of prints whatever its “sources” say, no matter how contradictory or ridiculous. In any case, the new story’s source insists Jolie “can’t live with the idea of walking down the aisle with wrinkles and lumps, so she’s determined to get all the treatments she needs before the big day.”(Quick reminder: The Enquirer falsely reported that Jolie and Pitt were getting married in a “secret wedding” in the Bahamas last spring. So we’re not sure which “big day” the magazine is taking about now.) The magazine’s misguided insider says Jolie has “consulted cosmetic surgeons in Europe about various touch-ups and high-end laser treatments,” and is also supposedly looking into “liposuction” and Botox injections.
Then the Enquirer trots out some random doctor who’s never treated the actress to put a hefty price tag on Jolie’s alleged surgical plans.“Angelina believes she can look as youthful as she did in her Lara Croft days for her wedding,” relays the mag’s source. “And she’s willing to spend whatever it takes to achieve that.”And the Enquirer is willing to write whatever it takes to create the illusion of a scoop. There is NO TRUTH whatsoever to the “extreme plastic surgery” claim, which is not surprising, given the tabloid’s track record with Jolie.A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the report is “totally false.”

Angelina Jolie poses for a picture with her pal Ewan McGregor at a screening of his film The Impossible on Sunday (November 18) at the Soho Hotel in London, England. The 37-year-old actress hosted the private screening, where she praised Ewan‘s work in the film. “I have known you for years and you are one of my favorite actors and I’ve always loved to watch you, but I watched this and I didn’t recognize you,” Angelina said. “To say it is one of the best performances of the year, really doesn’t give it credit, because it doesn’t feel like a performance. It’s from such an honest place and so deeply emotional.” “The true testament of any film is what you walk away with, and I think in this film you walk away with more empathy, with a greater sense of connection to your fellow man, and you want to run home and hug your kids, and tell the people you love that you love them,” Angie added. FYI: Angelina wore an Atelier Versace black long sleeve silk-crepe cocktail dress with a criss-cross pleating effect on the front with a black belt.

Celebrities' attempts to go undercover are pitiful, if a recent report by Us Weekly is to be believed. The magazine reveals the secret aliases that A-listers such as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, George Clooney, Justin Timberlake and Johnny Depp use when checking into hotels. As to be expected, the names are just as colorful as their personalities: Brad and Angelina use "Bryce and Jasmine Pilaf," while Justin Timberlake favors "Mr. Woodpond" and Johnny Depp sometimes drops a "Mr. Drip Noodle" bomb onto an unsuspecting hotel receptionist. But as conpicuous as "Pilaf" and "Woodpond" are, the winner for the most ridiculous name goes to, unsurprisingly, notorious prankster George Clooney. He reportedly uses the actual name of another famous face -- Arnold Schwarzenegger.Of course, as the published report makes this information public, we can expect new monikers to surface. What new nicknames should these celebrities use to protect their privacy? Sound off in the comments below.
