Angelina Jolie Moving To New York To Get Away From Brad Pitt?

Angelina Jolie moving to New York with her six kids to get away from Brad Pitt? That’s the claim in one of this week’s celebrity magazines. Gossip Cop, however, can prove the story is 100 percent not true.According to the latest issue of the National Enquirer, “Jolie is secretly plotting to uproot her brood and move from California to New York, thousands of miles away from [her] estranged hubby.” To make it appear as if its report is legitimate, the supermarket tabloid quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Angie wants to make a clean start in the Big Apple.” “She doesn’t really care if this makes it more difficult for Brad to see their children,” adds the ill-informed or possibly manufactured “insider.” Of course, the premise makes no sense. Just this past June, the judge presiding over their divorce warned Jolie that Pitt must be allowed to see the kids more or she’d lose custody. If she were “secretly plotting” to take the kids away, and make it “more difficult for Brad to see their children,” it’s safe to say she would immediately lose custody and the supposed plan to start a new life in New York would completely backfire. To fill out the rest of its article, and make it seem plausible that Jolie might unilaterally decide to relocate to New York, the magazine points out how two weeks ago she took her children to various events in Manhattan. It’s mentioned how all the kids went to a screening of the Netflix film, The Boy Who Harnessed The Wind, while just a handful of them accompanied her to the premiere of the documentary Serendity. The outlet also relates how the actress went on a college tour of NYU with her oldest son, Maddox, and took a few others shopping in the university’s neighborhood. But just because she visited New York with her family doesn’t mean she’s moving there. Last month, as a special Special Envoy for the UN Refugee Agency, Jolie visited Rohingya refugees who fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh, and she’s not moving there. In fact, last June Jolie bought late director Cecil B. DeMille’s house for $24.5 million, planting her and her kids firmly in Los Angeles. Then, towards the end of highly inaccurate article, the tabloid’s same unnamed “source” further contends, “Angie wants to leave Hollywood behind, and Brad along with it.” “Most people in the industry have sided with Brad, making it harder for her to find work,” asserts the tipster without any proof whatsoever. As a result, maintains the supposed “insider,” Jolie has decided to “pursue new opportunities in New York theater.” The anonymous “source concludes the actress also “loves the idea of being close to Maddox at college, and getting back at Brad is icing on the cake.”
The truth, of which there is little in the magazine’s story, is that Jolie is not leaving Hollywood, nor is she having a hard time finding work. She can next be seen in Maleficent 2. Jolie wrapped production a few months ago on Come Away, and she’s next slated to film Those Who Wish Me Dead. And it’s also illogical that a woman devoted to her kids would want to drop everything for a career in theater, which typically means performing six nights a week away from the children, as well as additional afternoon matinees on Wednesdays and weekends.Lastly, it hasn’t even been established that Jolie’s oldest child will attend NYU. But even if he does, the idea of her moving “close to Maddox” is also not in the best interest of her five other children. As noted above, the actress bought a home in Los Angeles, and would not turn her kids’ lives upside by taking them away from their friends and activities in California.Practically, everything claimed by the publication is provably wrong. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a source in Jolie’s camp, and we’re assured it’s all wrong. Jolie is not planning on moving to New York to get away from Pitt, nor would she ever jeopardize the custody of her children by doing that. The Enquirer has a questionable track record when it comes to reporting about Jolie. Among the many falsehoods published by that supermarket tabloid was a piece two years ago about how Jolie was moving with her kids out of the United States. Employing similar language, the magazine and its phony “source” said then that Jolie was “hitting” Pitt “where it hurts” by “uprooting their kids to London.” Obviously, that was a lie. Then last year, Gossip Cop busted the often discredited outlet when it similarly insisted Jolie was moving to France with her six kids amid the custody battle with Pitt. In that wholly fictitious article, the magazine’s seemingly fabricated source alleged Jolie was fleeing America because she “wants to make it as hard as possible for Brad to see their children.” Sound familiar? It’s practically the same quote used in the newly concocted story about the actress moving to New York to get away from Pitt.To recap: The outlet has nothing to prove Jolie is moving to New York. Conversely, there’s overwhelming evidence why it’s untrue and would essentially torpedo her chances of having reasonable custody of her and Pitt’s children. It’s also clear she’s not leaving film acting anytime soon, as floated by the publication. Equally significant, the tabloid has tried this bogus narrative twice before, and time has shown those tales to be false. For those reasons and others, Gossip Cop is giving the story a zero on our fact-or-fiction meter.

Angelina Jolie Wants To Date Colin Farrell?

Does Angelina Jolie want to date Colin Farrell? It’s claimed in one of this week’s celebrity magazines that she’s “pining” for him. Gossip Cop, however, can correct this report, which is partially based on a very old and inaccurate rumor about the two Alexander co-stars.OK! gets it wrong right from the start of its article, which begins, “For Angelina Jolie, former flame Colin Farrell may be the one that got away.” But by the second sentence of its story, the tabloid backs away a tiny bit from its assertion by adding, “The two were rumored to have a short fling while filming the 2004 period drama Alexander.” So, first the outlet declares the Irish actor was Jolie’s “former flame,” but then it says their alleged affair was just “rumored”? Without having reconciled that inconsistency, the tabloid just barrels on and quotes a so-called “pal” as saying, “She’s always had a thing for Colin.” The ill-informed or possibly manufactured tipster explains it would’ve never worked out between the two stars because “he wanted to party all night and she had just adopted Maddox.” We’re not quite sure how the magazine defines “just adopted,” but in reality the Oscar-winning actress had welcomed her eldest child a full two years before shooting Alexander with Farrell. The outlet concludes its error-riddled story by quoting Jolie’s supposed “friend” as contending how now that her custody battle with Brad Pitt is winding down, she’s excited about “finding someone new.” “She’s finally ready for a fresh start,” adds the magazine’s purported source. There’s one slight problem with the tabloid’s tale: It’s all predicated on a phony claim from more than half a decade ago.
Back in 2013, a full nine years after the filming of Alexander, Perez Hilton published an article completely out of the blue that falsely maintained Jolie had hooked up with Farrell and wanted to be with him, but settled for Pitt, with whom she spent a decade, married, and shares six kids. Gossip Cop corrected that untrue story more than six years ago. And much like that report, the current one has no proof or reason for tying Jolie to Farrell so many years later.Interestingly, if OK! truly had sources for the Oscar-winning actress, it would have mentioned that Jolie and four of her kids went to the Monday premiere of Dumbo, which actually stars Farrell. (It should be noted Jolie and Farrell weren’t even pictured together at the movie’s opening.) Conversely, Gossip Cop reached out to an impeccable Jolie insider, and we’re exclusively assured the tabloid’s latest article is “not true.” Of course, that magazine has been wrong about Jolie a lot. Just a month ago, Gossip Cop busted the publication when it absurdly reported Pitt and Jolie were calling off their divorce following a meeting about custody and possibly getting back together. And yet now it insists she wants to date Farrell? The same outlet also ridiculously insisted last March that Jolie was about to marry a new husband and adopt a baby from Africa with him. Obviously, she never wed the unnamed mystery man or adopted another child. The new claim about Jolie “pining” for Farrell is similarly untrue.

She's famed for her love of body ink and has at least 20 tattoos. And Angelina Jolie showed off a selection of her inkings as she donned a backless cream gown for the Dumbo premiere at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles on Monday. The stunning actress, 43, looked sensational at the event as she graced the red carpet alongside four of her six children. Angelina's designs include a Tennessee Williams quote, a Buddhist prayer and geographical coordinates of where her children were born. The three largest tattoos on her back were added in 2016– ancient Buddhist mantras down her right shoulder blade, a temple in the centre of her back, and, below it, a grid design known as a Yantra, believed to bring good luck.Beneath these is the image of a large Bengal tiger that she acquired in 2004 to celebrate her Cambodian citizenship. She got the tattoo in Bangkok, which was was made in traditional Thai style with a manual needle, and was blessed by the tattoo artist, who chanted an ancient hymn while making it. A tattoo on her left shoulder blade is a script dedicated to her son Maddox, whom she adopted in Cambodia, and was done in 2003 in a Thai hotel.Just months before actor-turned director Angelina split from her husband of 12 years, Brad Pitt in 2016 the couple had a former Thai monk flown to Cambodia where she was filming. He drew designs on both stars using the same ink to symbolically and ‘bind’ them as husband and wife.Angelina also has gothic lettering on her neck reading Know Your Rights, the title of a song by The Clash, one of her favourite bands. The Oscar-winning actress’s whirlwind marriage to actor Billy Bob Thornton in 2000 after a two-month courtship prompted her to have his name and a dragon tattooed on her shoulder. By 2002, the ink had been erased by laser. She said at the time: ‘I’ve moved on — that’s why it’s going.’ It was replaced with the coordinates of her children’s and Pitt’s birthplaces. Although Angelina looked breathtaking on the red carpet, it was her children who stole the show as she joined by her four youngest kids; twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, Shiloh, 12, and Zahara, 14. Angelina and Brad are also parents to Maddox, 17, and Pax, 15.Whilst Angelina does not star in Dumbo, Disney fans can see her next in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, which is slated for release next year. Meanwhile, the live-action Dumbo remake stars Colin Farrell, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito. The film follows two children who care for a young elephant with huge ears - before they discover he can fly.The movie, directed by Tim Burton, is set for release on March 29.
