Angelina Jolie hilariously gave a very frosty response when asked about her friendship with The Weeknd.The actress, 46, was promoting her new film the Eternals with co-star Salma Hayek on E!'s Daily Pop when she averted a question about her relationship with The I Feel It Coming singer, whom she has been spotted hanging out with on several occasions.Interestingly, rather than using the moment as an opportunity to set the record straight on her friendship with the superstar, the actress avoided discussing their relationship whatsoever. Asked by host Justin Sylvester whether her children were more excited by her role in Eternals or by her friendship with The Weeknd, Angelina replied: 'They're very excited about this film... If that's what you're asking,' she said, glancing at her co-star Salma.'They're very excited about this film,' she repeated in a more muted tone.Angelina has been spotted dining out with The Weeknd several times this year, and though they have reportedly been telling people they are 'just friends', their pals believe there is more between them.Talking about the connection last month, a source told Us Weekly: 'Both Angie and Abel are telling people that they are just friends, but those who know them think something romantic is going on.' 'She's definitely warming toward Abel. He's been pouring on the charm and going out of his way to impress her.'The Weeknd isn't the only man Angelina has been linked to since splitting from her ex-husband Brad Pitt in 2016, with the actress also being spotted with her ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller in recent months.Friends of the actress say Jolie is excited about seeing new people for the first time since her 2016 split from Pitt, with one insider telling Us Weekly: 'Angelina is having so much fun right now, and she's making up for lost time.' The Mr And Mrs Smith star, 46, looked nothing short of sensational in a clinging black dress in a leather-look fabric while the Humans beauty, 38, dazzled in a white mini dress with a cape detail. Angelina made sure all eyes were firmly on her in the sizzling gown, which clung to her envy-inducing figure and highlighted her lithe middle and eye-popping bust thanks to its skin-tight material. She wore her brunette tresses in shoulder-skimming lengths and flawlessly coiffed into a blowdry while her make-up was perfectly applied to suit the vampish style of the sexy look.
