Angelina Jolie is such a role model – wife, mother, cancer campaigner and UN ambassador. I don’t know how she finds the time to do it all! And she still manages to look groomed and gorgeous, even when tackling serious subjects like giving a lecture to a UN panel.What I like about Angelina’s choice of formal attire is that it’s not stiff and boring – I can’t imagine her in a traditional suit – but it’s still smart. And it’s also completely new and on trend as leather jackets and PU jackets are the hottest item of the season. There are so many new jackets in this season at Very but I really like the South PU bomber jacket as a match for Angelina’s as she’s a busy mum of six and a PU jacket is a lot easier to look after than leather, even though they look similar. Midi skirts are also so fashionable and there’s a brand new one at Very in the shape of the stunning Love Label jersey midi skirt. Then all you need to complete the look clothing-wise is a simple black top like the new-in South curved hem vest.As for shoes, the Ted Baker abesi peep toe platform shoes are also brand new-in. I love a peep toe shoe! We may not have Angelina’s incredible lifestyle but it’s not impossible to copy her style. She’s an inspiration to me. What do you think?

Angelina Jolie is apparently still on great terms with her second husband, actor Billy Bob Thornton.The 57-year-old Oscar winner, who was married to Jolie from 2000 to 2003, reveals to Life & Style that he was privy to her decision to undergo a double mastectomy before she opened up in that brave May 14 New York Times op-ed, "My Medical Choice." "I knew about it before the public knew," Thornton says. "She wanted me to know so I wouldn't freak out. When you're great friends with somebody like that ... you don't want to hear it on the news.".A carrier of a faulty gene that would've made her more susceptible to breast cancer, Jolie elected to have both her breasts removed in order to eliminate -- or at least greatly reduce the risk of -- the possibility of developing the disease. "Life comes with many challenges," she writes. "The ones that should not scare us are the ones we can take on and take control of." While on the red carpet for the London premiere of "World War Z," fiance Brad Pitt gushed, "I'm so proud of her. She's a badass. She's just a badass."

Angelina Jolie didn’t have to tell the world why she had been out of the spotlight for months. She could have said that she was just spending time with her large family or taking a much-needed break after years of working nonstop.Instead the actress chose to open up about her preventive double mastectomy. Jolie, who carries a gene that puts her at an elevated risk for breast cancer, explained her decision in a New York Times op-ed that sparked both support and controversy.Jolie’s ability to shape a national conversation while earning one of the highest paychecks in Hollywood makes her the most powerful actress on our Celebrity 100 list. Jolie ranks 41st overall with $33 million in earnings. Much of that comes from her upfront pay for the movie Maleficent, Disney’s new take on the old Sleeping Beauty story. Jolie stars as the wicked queen in the movie, which is scheduled for release next summer.The second most-powerful actress on our list is newcomer Jennifer Lawrence, who ranks 49th with $26 million. It’s hard to think of an actress who had a better year than Lawrence. She started 2012 with The Hunger Games, which grossed $690 million at the global box office, making it one of the highest-grossing movies of the year. Lawrence was paid less than $1 million upfront for her work on the film but she made up for that with a much fatter paycheck to revisit the role of Katniss Everdeen for the sequel, Catching Fire.Then she won her first Oscar as Best Actress for Silver Linings Playbook (it was the 22-year-old’s second nomination). The smaller movie turned a nice profit off its own, bringing in $236 million on a $20 million budget. Lawrence has a slew of blockbusters and art films on deck for the next year including X-Men: Days of Future Past and American Hustle from Silver Linings director David O.
