Loving life after marriage! Brad Pitt told Us Weekly that his six kids are pleased that he and their mom, Angelina Jolie, are finally husband and wife. The actor updated Us on the latest happenings with the Brangelina brood at the Fury premiere in Washington, D.C., held Wednesday, Oct. 15."They like it," Pitt told Us of his kids — Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6 — of their parents' official marital status. The actor, 50, and Jolie, 39, tied the knot this past August in a super-secret ceremony at their French estate, Chateau Miraval. "It was very much a family affair," their spokesperson told Us in the week following the intimate wedding, which included roles for each of their six children. Following their ceremony, the newlyweds immediately went to Malta — and got to work! Pitt joked to USA Today at the premiere that his honeymoon was "dysfunctional," as the A-list couple filmed their latest project together, By the Sea, also written and directed by Jolie. "Yeah, it was our choice," Pitt told the paper with a laugh. "It’s been fun. It’s been challenging, but really fun." With the entire family filming on location in Malta, Pitt said they still plan to fete Halloween together as a family. "We’re overseas," Pitt told Us, "so we’re going to do something there for the kids." Along with Pitt's dysfunctional honeymoon was his equally dysfunctional band of brothers in the Fury cast. "We had a lot of fun," the actor told Us of filming with Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Pena. "It was a lot like a dysfunctional family in there." He mused that there was no biggest troublemaker, saying: "We all took our shots." Pitt added to USA Today of his costars: "They're wonderful boys. I would say I’m a better father because of my experience with those guys. They’re golden."

BRITISH couturiers Ralph & Russo told us exclusively today what an "honour" it was to dress Angelina Jolie as she collected her honorary damehood from the Queen. The filmmaker and philanthropist was awarded the honour at Buckingham Palace on Friday for her campaigning to fight sexual violence and for services to UK foreign policy.Jolie wore a skirt suit from the label's spring/summer 2014 collection, which originally appeared on the catwalk in red. She requested that the two-piece be remade in a subtle dove grey, and wore it with matching peep-toe pumps."It was an absolute honour for Angelina Jolie to ask us to create her outfit for such a momentous and meaningful event," the label's co-founder and designer Tamara Ralph told us. "With Ralph & Russo being a British couture house, it was befitting that she chose to wear one of our creations to Buckingham Palace. The dove-grey wool-crêpe suit was perfectly suited to the occasion; simple, elegant and refined." Jolie has worn Ralph & Russo on numerous previous occasions, while Cheryl Cole selected a dress from the label to wear to her post-wedding party in London this summer. Angelina Jolie, the Tomb Raider star, has been made an honorary dame by the Queen . Angelina Jolie, the Oscar-winning actress, has been made an honorary dame by the Queen for her campaign work fighting sexual violence and for services to UK foreign policy. The 39-year-old film star, best known for her role in Hollywood blockbuster Tomb Raider, was presented with the award during a private audience with the Queen at Buckingham Palace. After the presentation, Jolie’s husband, Brad Pitt, and the couple’s six children, were shown into the Palace’s 1844 room and presented to the Queen. As an American, Jolie, cannot be addressed as Dame but can use the initials of the award - DCMG - after her name. The actress, co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative( PVSI), was recognised in the Diplomatic Service and Overseas Birthday 2014 Honours list and received the honorary damehood for services to UK foreign policy and the campaign to end war-zone sexual violence. During the audience, the Queen presented the actress with the insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George.A Buckingham Palace spokesman said Jolie spent around 20 minutes with the monarch.
The award was first announced in June during the week when Jolie was co-chairing the End Sexual Violence in Conflict (ESVC) global summit in London with then foreign secretary William Hague. She said at the time: “To receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PVSI and with survivors of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine.”Her work as a humanitarian runs parallel to her career as a leading actress who has been a huge box office draw for more than a decade. She has been described by US Secretary of State John Kerry as a "fierce and fearless advocate" and he said her dedication to campaigning could overtake her successful film career as her lasting legacy.Jolie, who won an Oscar for best supporting actress in the drama Girl, Interrupted, is also special envoy of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The actress announced in a New York Times article last year that she had undergone a preventative double mastectomy because she carries the 'faulty' gene BRCA1, which sharply increased her risk of developing breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
