No regrets. Angelina Jolie has revealed that her experience of early menopause since having her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed back in March has not been bad at all.In fact, the 40-year-old wife of Brad Pitt says she "loves" being menopausal and isn't pining for her youth in any way.“I actually love being in menopause,” the mom-of-six said in an interview with Australia's Daily Telegraph. “I haven’t had a terrible reaction to it, so I’m very fortunate," she added."I feel older, and I feel settled being older," the actress and humanitarian continued. "I feel happy that I've grown up. I don't want to be young again."Jolie has been very vocal about her health choices, penning two New York Times op-eds on the topic. She first explained her decision to have a preventative double mastectomy back in 2013. Her second detailed her choice to remove her ovaries and fallopian tubes in March of this year after a terrifying cancer scare. The By the Sea star has been keen to make it clear that, far from feeling the surgeries have had a detrimental effect on her life, these days she feels more womanly than ever."I feel feminine, and grounded in the choices I am making for myself and my family," she wrote in her article back in March. "I know my children will never have to say, ‘Mom died of ovarian cancer.’"

Fans anticipating the release of a “Tomb Raider” film reboot may have given up a long time ago, given that the film has been ‘in development’ status for more than five years. However, the development of the film may now pick up its pace.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Tomb Raider” reboot project has already found its director. Roar Uthaug, who is known for directing the Norweigan disaster film “The Wave”, will lead the MGM, Warner Bros. and GK Films feature project.Meanwhile, IGN reports that “Transformers 5” co-writer Geneva Robertson-Dworet is also in talks to write the screenplay of the Lara Croft adventure. In terms of Uthaug’s directing prowess, Variety reports that “The Wave” was submitted as an entry for a foreign film Oscar. Other films under the director’s belt include Norweigan films “Cold Prey” and “Magic Silver”.Variety details that the original “Tomb Raider” game was released in 1996 by Eidos, a London-based developer, and selling over 35 million units. After Eidos merged with the company Square Enix, the latter then released a reboot of the game in 2013 which featured a younger Lara Croft. On the other hand, the two “Tomb Raider” films by Paramount starring Angelina Jolie went on to gross $432 million worldwide. At this point, casting news may still be a long way ahead but Angelina Jolie is unlikely to return as the well-loved British archaeologist.Cinema Blend has reported back then that the new “Tomb Raider” edition may feature a younger version of the heroine. This consideration may be in line with a 21-year-old Lara Croft being featured in the 2013 reboot game. The website also pointed out that die-hard fans of the game “hated the Jolie duology of features”, which is more reason for MGM, Warner Bros. and GK Films to cast a different actress for the role of Lara Croft. The “Tomb Raider” reboot film is slated for release in 2017, though the date is tentative for now.

Angelina Jolie's maternal instincts are interfering with her directing. The 40-year-old actress/director is currently shooting "First They Killed My Father," based on activist Loung Ung's memoir memoir of the same name, in Cambodia. One of the movie's scenes, Jolie told People, requires "250 children" who "have to cry and scream" as they "go through a labor camp." "My instinct is to want to cut and hug everyone," Jolie said.Jolie and husband Brad Pitt's 14-year-old son Maddox, adopted from Cambodia in 2001, is serving as PA on the fim. Jolie, speaking with the Associated Press in July, said "as Maddox and I prepare the film we will be side by side learning about his country ... He is my son but he is also a son of Cambodia. This is the time for our family to understand all that that means to him and to us. My desire to tell this story in the most truthful and accurate way possible will be my tribute to the strength and dignity of all Cambodian people." She added, "Maddox will be on set every day after school and involved behind the scenes." "First They Killed My Father" tells the story of Ung's brutal childhood under Cambodia's Khmer Rouge regime, responsible for the murder of millions of civilians. Jolie said the goal of the film "is not to revisit the horrors of the war but to bring to the screen characters that people around the world will empathize with, and to help other people to learn about Cambodia." She explained, "What is special about this particular story is that it is told from the perspective of a 5-year-old child, and is based on a child's emotional experience of war. It sheds light not only on the experience of children during the genocide in Cambodia but of all children who endure war." Jolie and Pitt star in the new marital drama "By the Sea," written and directed by Jolie. The film bombed at the box office and has been slammed by critics.

Jolie wanted a new nip/tuck, but her surgeon said it was unsafe.Angelina Jolie isn’t used to hearing the word “No.” But RadarOnline.com has learned she was shut down at the plastic surgeon’s office when she requested a new procedure and was told she’s too thin! According to a source, “Angelina didn’t want to have breast implants after her mastectomy, because it would require additional surgeries down the road, and possible complications. The alternative to the breast implants would have been taking fat from her abdomen to construct the breasts. Using her own tissue would have been more natural, but that surgery would have been a lot longer.” “That’s what she wanted to do,” added a source. But doctors told Angie she wasn’t a candidate for the fat transfer to the breasts because “she is just too thin,” the insider claimed. “In the end, it all worked out and Angie was happy with the results.” “Down the line though, Angie will need to have the implants replaced.” While busy promoting By The Sea with her husband, Brad Pitt, 51, Jolie’s scary skinny frame has been making headlines yet again. Her bones were sticking out at the recent WSJ Innovator Awards in New York City. Jolie, 40, went public with her decision to have a double mastectomy and hysterectomy last year, after testing positive for faulty BRCA-1 genetic mutation, which put her at increased odds of getting breast and/or ovarian cancer.Ovarian cancer took the life of Angelina’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, as well as her grandmother and aunt.
