Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander, who has landed the role of Lara Croft in the "Tomb Raider" reboot , has praised Angelina Jolie -- who played the part in the original -- and says she wants to meet her."That is a woman I would love to meet. She made an icon of that character, of course. She's quite an incredible woman. I would love to meet her," Vikander told eonline.com .However, she won't be asking Jolie for any advice."What we're doing is something quite different since they rebooted the game in 2013. It's a whole new take. We're doing a film of that game," she said.Vikander had earlier shared that she cannot wait to get started on the movie, which will tell the origin story of the adventurous archaeologist."I mean, for me, I'm so excited to do it. She was such an icon, I played the game when I was a kid, but they rebooted the game a few years ago so it is now becoming more of an origins story. So it's quite different," she said.Vikander's 'Tom Raider' reboot hits theatres on March 16, 2018.

The couple was spotted at The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood, Calif. on Tuesday morning (July 12) with the twins by their side.Knox reportedly ordered Oreo-filled pancakes with whipped cream and powdered sugar for his birthday treat, according to TMZ.After filling up at breakfast, the four of them were all spotted going shopping at a local Rite-Aid together.

The 23-year-old singer, who has hung out with Brad Pitt a time or two, gave the actor’s daughters an invite to her July 8 show at Los Angeles’ Staples Center. While their dad couldn’t attend, the girls enjoyed a night out courtesy of Selena herself — and thanked her in the cutest way! “Selena personally invited Brad and Angelina and their kids to her show at the Staples Center. Shiloh and Zahara attended the concert and totally bonded with Selena after the show during the meet-and-greet,” an insider revealed to HollywoodLife.com. “It was really cute. Shiloh gave her a handmade card and Zahara gave her a little stuffed animal.” How precious is that?! Sadly no picture proof of Selena’s meeting with Shiloh and Zahara, but it sounds like the girls made the moment just as special for Selena as she did for them. If only Brad or Angelina Jolie had been there too — just imagine what that meet-and-greet would’ve looked like! Although Brangelina didn’t make an appearance at Selena’s show, Selena’s Los Angeles stop was still chock full of big names. Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens turned the event into a High School Musical girl’s night, just like Sabrina Carpenter and Maddie Ziegler did. Winter explained her new look by keeping the caption short and sweet writing, “Back to black.” The talented crew at Nine Zero One Salon helped the Modern Family actress return to her signature dark look, while maintaining her hair’s health. In the image you can see that the fresh shade is far from dull, and her long, thick strands look just as vibrant as her previous red-hot color.Last March, Winter dyed her hair the fiery red hue for her upcoming role in Dog Years. In the film, Winter plays an edgy young lady who is the driver for an aging actor played by Burt Reynolds. The movie role required quite a transformation for Winter. The X Factor’s Nicole Scherzinger was one of the draws as the ITV show’s hunt for the next singing star of tomorrow moved to London. It was hard to miss the former Pussycat Doll who turned up to Wembley Arena for the six chair challenge in a bright orange gown which showed a good deal of arm and leg.The singer even hit the red carpet in a similar manner to Angelina’s infamous ‘right leg out’ pose at the Oscars in 2012.There were some familiar faces alongside Nicole, but also a new one.Former contestant Rylan Clark-Neal is returning to the show that made him famous as a co-host of ITV2′s The Xtra Factor. He will present the TV series alongside recently announced Radio 1 DJ and television host Matt Edmondson.Rylan was a finalist on the popular reality TV singing show in 2012. Now a presenter of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Rylan famously sobbed on TV when he was selected for the live shows by Nicole.
