Here's What Jen Aniston BFF Chelsea Handler Would Say To Angelina Jolie In An Elevator

Today's reminder that stars are just like us (well, sort of, sometimes) comes courtesy of sharp-tongued comedian Chelsea Handler, who appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Thursday night. An audience member asked Handler a very pointed question: "Chelsea, if you were stuck in an elevator with Angelina Jolie, what would you say?" Handler answered, "I would just, I would just look up. Exactly what people do in elevators. You know when you, like, fake look at the number because you just don't want to make eye contact?" She pantomimed somebody looking up, feigning interest in the floor number. "That would be exactly the elevator ride. And then I'd go, 'Heyyy!' as I walked out. 'Hey you!'" Well, it's good to know that celebs do their best to avoid awkward elevator interactions, too. But Handler's imagined reaction is actually remarkably civil, given the less-than-kind things she's had to say over the years about Jolie, who played a role in the split between Brad Pitt and Handler's best friend, Jennifer Aniston. During a Watch What Happens Live appearance back in 2013, Handler said, "She seems like a demon." She added, "It has nothing to do with Jennifer. As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that's a bad girl. I just don't like Angelina Jolie." In September 2016, following the news of Brangelina's breakup, Handler made a savage dig at the actress on her Netflix talk show, Chelsea, calling her a "fucking lunatic" and implying she was the reason for the divorce. "There are rumors that part of the problem was that Brad was allegedly drinking and smoking too much weed. I wonder why he would need to self-medicate,” she said. “Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon, instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids speaking 15 different languages. Oh, yeah, because he married a fucking lunatic, that’s why." Yikes. We're glad Handler's hypothetical elevator behavior is markedly more tame.”
Angelina Jolie Does NOT Hate Brad Pitt Dating Other Women, Despite Report

A new report alleges that Angelina Jolie “hates” the idea of Brad Pitt starting to date other women again following their split, but Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this fake news.According to HollywoodLife, which repeatedly makes up stories about the estranged spouses, the actress “doesn’t want [Pitt] to meet anyone new,” despite her having no intention of getting back together with him. A supposed “insider” tells the site that Jolie is an inherently jealous person who “can’t bear the thought of Brad moving on with someone else.”The seemingly phony source adds, “She may have broken up with him, but that doesn’t mean she wants anyone else to have him,” and further purports that Jolie “would hate it for the kids to be around another woman.” Despite the inordinate amount of times we’ve called out HollywoodLife for publishing lies about the exes, we still checked in with a reliable source close to Jolie, who assures us this latest report is simply “not true.”This latest story is yet another example of the webloid pretending to have insiders connected to Jolie, even though we’ve repeatedly been told that no one in the actress’s trusted inner circle is speaking to HollywoodLife. In fact, Gossip Cop already busted the site’s similarly wrong report about Jolie being “terrified” of Pitt dating again. The outlet also seems to have forgotten about falsely claiming earlier this month that Jolie and Pitt were back together. This newest article from the unreliable outlet is equally bogus.
Angelina Jolie “Wedding In Cambodia” Is Made-Up Tabloid Cover Story

Angelina Jolie is not having a “wedding in Cambodia,” contrary to a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can debunk this report, which was completely made up.As Gossip Cop reported, last month In Touch falsely claimed Jolie was “getting married already” to a “wealthy Brit.” Though the tabloid could not identify this supposed groom-to-be, the gossip magazine insisted the actress was fast-tracking her divorce from Brad Pitt in order to tie the knot again. Gossip Cop correctly busted that cover story at the time, but now the outlet is foolishly doubling down with a new one.The latest cover blares, “Angelina’s Shocking Surprise: Wedding In Cambodia! Marriage No. 4 Just 8 Months After Split With Brad.” The front of the issue was designed to give consumers the impression this supposed wedding already took place, but the actual story inside the edition is only about Jolie’s alleged plans to wed. In either case, the publication is dead wrong. The article repeats the tabloid’s previous untrue assertions that Jolie has “quietly fallen for a wealthy 40-something British philanthropist and businessman, and she’s eager to marry for the fourth time as soon as her divorce from Brad is finalized.” But to advance its recycled claims, the magazine quotes a so-called “family friend,” who contends, “All systems are go for the wedding to take place on her new property” in Battambang. This supposed source goes on to contend Jolie was able to “clear the decks for marriage” after allegedly giving in to Pitt’s custody and financial demands. As Gossip Cop previously noted, In Touch had also fabricated a cover story that claimed Pitt had “stopped” the wedding and was dragging his feet with the divorce because he did not want Jolie to wed again. This new piece gets out of that by conveniently asserting Pitt has changed his mind and isn’t “standing in her way anymore.” And so the outlet’s “family friend” goes on to spill purported details about Jolie’s wedding plans, like how it will be a “small outdoor” ceremony this summer and how the actress’ dress, food and decorations will all reflect Cambodian culture. Naturally, the alleged tipster also maintains Jolie and Pitt’s kids will have roles in the wedding, too.But isn’t it odd that the publication knows all the specifics about the nuptials but not the name of Jolie’s “new man”? Or his exact age? Or where he actually works? A skeptic would say that’s because this “wealthy 40-something British philanthropist and businessman” doesn’t exist, at least not in Jolie’s life. In fact, Gossip Cop was told more than a month ago that rumors of Jolie having a British boyfriend were “untrue.”In Touch has simply created a soap opera-worthy, but false, narrative. Angelina Jolie getting married again! Brad Pitt stops the wedding! Brad Pitt caves and Angelina Jolie plans Cambodian wedding! The tabloid is stepping in it further and further, as the only thing that stinks around here is the magazine’s dreadful reporting. Actually, it isn’t even reporting, since the outlet likely didn’t just get bad information from a “family friend.” Rather, the publication, Gossip Cop is told, has simply been making it all up. For shame.
