Did Angelina Jolie really hire set designers to transform her house for a Halloween party? That’s the claim in one of this week’s new tabloids, which says the actress is going to great lengths to throw an epic bash for her six children. But Gossip Cop looked into the unlikely story and we’ve exclusively learned the truth.An article in the latest issue of Us Weekly says Jolie employed a crew of set and costume designers to give her Los Angeles mansion a spooky makeover. “The party is for the kids, but Angie is having some of her pals there too,” says the magazine’s supposed source, who further maintains the actress is organizing the celebration for her children as “a thank-you because she’s been traveling a lot and they’ve been so easygoing.” Of course, it seems very unlikely that Jolie would hire a big Hollywood production team to decorate her house for Halloween, so Gossip Cop was hesitant to believe this story. Our doubts were confirmed after checking in with a source close to the actress, who exclusively assures us it’s simply “not true.” In fact, Jolie and her kids were spotted at a Halloween store in Los Angeles earlier this month picking out their own costumes and decorations. The actress also went shopping at a separate costume shop earlier that week. Clearly, Jolie is handling the festivities on her own.It’s worth noting that Us Weekly is not a reliable outlet when it comes to accurately reporting about the actress. Gossip Cop busted the magazine in August for falsely claiming Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce was off. We also previously corrected the tabloid for wrongly asserting Jolie was going to be teaching at Georgetown University. This latest article about the actress hiring professionals to redesign her home for Halloween is similarly untrue.

She is one of the the best known actresses in the world.And though she is not on set filming a big movie, Angelina Jolie's days are as busy as ever.The 42-year-old actress was spotted bringing her daughter Vivienne to a Karate class in Los Angeles on Monday.Then hours later, the stunner emerged in a much dressier outfit as she headed to dinner at Umeda Sushi with Vice Chairman of NBCUniversal Ronald Meyer.Angelina rocked all-black including a silky top featuring a lacy neckline, trousers, heels and blazer.Her signature raven-colored tresses were worn down and tucked behind her ears.She contrasted her porcelain skin with bold eye make-up and a swipe of magenta lip. It didn't seem like it was a romantic outing but the 73-year-old American entertainment talent executive did have his arm around Angelina as they left the restaurant.Earlier in the day Angelina looked happy to be with her nine-year-old daughter as she picked her up from a martial arts class.The Oscar-winner rocked a grey robe coat over a black top, trousers, and shoes combination.She accessorized with a black leather designer bag with matching aviator shades.Her raven-colored locks were put in a ponytail as she wore minimal make-up. But [Neve] was by far the biggest name."We tested Alicia Silverstone, Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie... but Neve came in and she was really, really good."Perhaps things might have been different, if they had known that Jolie would become notorious for wearing a vial of Billy Bob Thornton's blood around her neck a few years later.The movie was not expected to do well by the studios and was viewed as a risk due to its female-centric characters and challenging themes of pagan worship, rape and murder.Both Columbia Pictures and the censor believed it was too strong for female teenage audiences who had flocked to see Clueless the year before.
