Angelina Jolie is no stranger to making headlines.The 42-year-old starlet looked like she meant business on Friday as she was seen leaving the building of the Los Angeles Times newspaper.At the downtown Los Angeles office, the actress/activist appeared as elegant as ever in a well-tailored black frock which highlighted her long, lithe body.The Los Angeles native looked timeless in the all black ensemble which made her porcelain skin appear snow-white by contrast.Angie, who shares six kids with ex Brad Pitt, rounded out the look with a jacket and towering stilettos, elongating her already thin 5foot7 form.The Academy Award winner accessorized with a studded handbag, square sunglasses, and diamond earrings.The working mom's dark brown locks were blow dried smooth while Angie kept her face at a natural glow.It was unclear why the superstar actress was stopping by her hometown's newspaper. While Angelina looked stunning and statuesque during the outing, some close to the star are said to be worried about how thin she's become following her split from ex Brad Pitt last year, according to The Inquisitr.An insider told the site that Jolie frequently forgets means and regularly consumes 'just a few hundred calories a day.' The actress admitted is was "kind of an awesome rumour" when she appeared on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live this week.Kate Hudson has finally addressed the Brad Pitt dating rumours that began to swirl following his split from Angelina Jolie.A number of US magazines linked Kate and the War Machine actor in early 2017. Appearing on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live , the host quizzed her about the rumours.“That was the craziest rumor of all time,” she said. “There’s nothing true to that. As a matter of fact. I hadn’t actually seen him in, like, four years."It was kind of an awesome rumour. I kind of liked it. I was like, ‘OK, fine. We’re having twins!'” While both Kate and Brad didn't publicly comment on the rumours at the time, Kate's brother Oliver couldn't resist poking fun at them.Back in January he posted an image of one of the weekly US magazines which was reporting that newly-single Brad had even moved into Kate's house.Alongside a picture of the pair of them and a moving van, it also included a quote from mum Goldie Hawn which said: "He makes my daughter so happy!" Angelina Jolie lends her star power to international peacekeeping summit in Canada

Angelina Jolie will deliver a keynote address at next week's international peacekeeping summit in Vancouver, her office has confirmed to CBC News.More than 80 countries have so far said they will attend the two-day United Nations ministerial meeting beginning on Nov. 14, where improving the gender balance of peacekeeping operations will be one of the overarching themes.The Academy Award-winner and special envoy of the United Nations' High Commissioner for Refugees will deliver her remarks on the second day of the summit. The content of her address is not known but she is expected to broach issues she has touched on many times in the past, including the prevention of sexual violence in conflict and justice for victims. According to a draft program obtained by The Canadian Press, the other major address at the summit will be delivered by Patrick Shanahan, the U.S. deputy secretary of defence.More than five years ago Jolie and former British foreign secretary William Hague launched the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative. Last year she made a surprise appearance at the first UN Peacekeeping Defence Ministerial meeting in London, where she called for the prosecution of peacekeepers accused of sexual exploitation and abuse, as well as the deployment of more women peacekeepers."Peacekeeping forces can only gain and keep the trust of local populations if they are able to engage with women as well as men in that community," she told delegates in the room.Jolie told the delegates that numbers alone won't resolve conflicts and that modern peacekeeping must have ''the rights and protection and involvement of women at its heart." Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan was among the 80 or so defence ministers at the 2016 UN meeting, where he reaffirmed Canada's commitment to playing a leadership role in peace operations."Conflicts today are more complex than ever before, and we're serious about being part of the solution," he told delegates. "That's the reason we're bringing our resources and skills to the table."It's expected Ottawa will announce the long-awaited details of that contribution either at or right before the peacekeeping summit next week.
