In 2006, Brad Pitt said he and Angelina would not get married until everyone in the country legally could, and on June 26, the Supreme Court supported marriage equality by striking down the Defense of Marriage Act and reinstating gay marriage in California. Now, insiders tell Vh1′s ‘The Gossip Table’ that Brad and Angelina have set a wedding date! Hollywood’s most powerful celebrity couple will reportedly walk down the aisle before the end of 2013! On June 26, the Supreme Court struck down a key provision of the Defense of Marriage Act, ruling that same-sex couples, legally married in a state, may receive federal benefits. Furthermore, same sex marriage is now legal in California again. Because of these monumental changes in America, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie allegedly feel it’s the right time to finally said “I do!” “The wedding of the century could be this summer,” Noah Levy, one of the co-hosts on Vh1′s The Gossip Table, said on June 27. “Brad and Angelina actually have set a date.”In 2012, Brad said his wedding with Angelina would be “simple” with “just family.” It’d be a clear departure from his 2000 nuptials with Jennifer Aniston, which reportedly cost $1 million.“You don’t know how much time you have left,” he told People magazine of his outlook for the future. “Make sure you enjoy the year more than ever.” (Getting married is definitely a great way to take advantage of the year!) Brad, 49, and Angelina, 38, officially became engaged in April 2012 after meeting on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2004. They have three biological children together, 7-year-old Shiloh, and 5-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne. Brad adopted Angelina’s children Maddox, 12, and Zahara, 8, in 2006. Angelina adopted son Pax, 10, in 2007, and Brad co-adopted him in 2008.What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Brad and Angelina will get married this summer?

She respects Brad’s right to be friends with whoever he wants, but there’s no way she’s allowing any of these guys to attend their wedding.'According to the Enquirer source, 'The official line she’s giving is that this is an ‘intimate celebration for only the closest friends and family.’ But the brutal truth is that she considers these three to be bad influences on Brad.'But alas, there won't be any bad vibes in the household of our favourite couple. 'Brad’s not willing to upset her considering everything she’s been through lately,' says the mag’s supposed insider. 'He worships Angie and wants this day to be perfect for her and the kids. Angelina Jolie has certainly stolen the media spotlight after revealing she underwent a preventative double mastectomy, but soon, she'll be taking a backseat to partner Brad Pitt. The mother of six is planning to make her first red carpet appearance since her big annoucement at the London premiere of her fiancé's post-apocalyptic zombie flick, World War Z, on June 2, E! News has exclusively learned. Jolie has kept a low profile since penning her op-ed piece in the New York Times, where she revealed she underwent a double mastectomy after learning she carried the "faulty" BRCA1 gene, which increased her chances of contracting breast cancer by roughly 87 percent. Jolie is also reportedly planning to have her ovaries removed as another preventive surgery, intended to drastically reduce her risk of ovarian cancer. The Oscar-winning actress first opted for genetic testing because of her family's widespread history of cancer. She lost her mother to ovarian cancer in 2007, and her aunt lost her own battle with breast cancer over the weekend. Meanwhile, Pitt's been supporting his "heroic" partner as well as promoting his highly-anticipated horror film. He recently surprised fans at an early screen in New Jersey, where the audience went wild for both Pitt and his horror flick. Can't wait for Brangelina to hit the carpet together! Talk about Hollywood royalty rubbing elbows with London's finest.
