Staff at the Vietnamese orphanage where Angelina Jolie adopted her son Pax are holding out hope for another visit from the star, a report has claimed.Tam Binh Orphanage staff member Nguyen Kim Xuyen said that she 'never' hears from the Maleficent star but would love to make contact. The government-funded orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam's south, is reportedly in dire need of money to feed the children it cares for. When the 41-year-old adopted Pax in 2007 she allegedly told staff 'I'll be back'.Nguyen still believes that Jolie will pay them another visit one day.Everyone is looking forward to them returning to Tam Binh. We will meet again some day,' Nguyen reportedly said.It is not suggested that Jolie is under any obligation to visit again. Born Pham Quang Sang, Jolie renamed her son Pax Thien Jolie in 2007.When she picked up Pax in 2007, Jolie told Ho Chi Minh City Law newspaper, according to a translation in the Associated Press: 'I will stay at home to help Pax adjust to his new life.'I have four children and caring for them is the most important thing for me at the moment. I am very proud and happy to be their mother.'Everyone would agree that children need to have a family. I have the ability to help children fulfill that desire. Why should I say no?'Pax was three years old when he was adopted by Jolie after she applied to be his main carer through an agency in the US.Abandoned at birth by a drug addict mother, he was called Pham Quang Sang before being renamed by Jolie. Pax is Latin for peace and Thien is Vietnamese for heaven. At nearly four, he was the oldest child Jolie had adopted. She was already the adoptive mother to Maddox, from Cambodia, and Zahara from Ethiopia.Jolie and now-estranged husband Brad Pitt took Pax back to Vietnam for a visit in 2011.The then couple, who have three biological children and three adopted, have always said they want their children to remain in touch with their home countries. On Friday, Jolie publicly surfaced for the first time since she filed for divorce from Pitt.n a recorded video message for the International Criminal Court she spoke about the Dutch-based tribunal's launch of its policy on children.'Successful prosecution, whether at the ICC or elsewhere is part of the long and vital generational effort. That is the light in which I believe the court's new policy on children should be seen,' the Oscar winner said in a clip captured on Twitter.'I particularly welcome the commitment to include charges for crimes against children wherever the evidence permits as part of a more systematic approach. I congratulate the office of the chief prosecutor, and all those working on the policy.'The Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees also stated: 'Mankind owes to children. We know we aren't giving the best to children.'Jolie is requesting full custody of her and Pitt's six children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne & Knox, 8.Jolie's agent and lawyer have been contacted for comment.

"Brad has been deferential on what’s best for them and limits their stress." A Jolie source, however, claims that the kids didn't "warm up to him" during the monitored visits.Last year, in happier times, Pitt told Extra that he's the one that cooks during the holidays. "We've got Thanksgiving, man — I'm all over that turkey," he said at the time.As previously reported, Pitt and Jolie continue to share legal custody while the Maleficent actress has temporary physical custody. Since the split, she and the kids have been staying out of the spotlight in Malibu.Pitt, meanwhile, has been traveling around the world to promote his upcoming drama Allied. They went from freaky to finished in just a few years and Billy Bob Thornton is opening up about why.The “Fargo” actor, who shared no shortage of zany public displays of affection with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, recently opened up to GQ about why they were unable to make the relationship work. The former couple met on the set of the 1999 film “Pushing Tin” and were married a year later. And while Thornton and Jolie both loved wearing each other’s blood in a vial around their necks, the rest of their interests didn’t really align — she was passionate about working with the United Nations while he was more comfortable staying in and watching sports.“I never felt like I was good enough for her,” Thornton told the magazine, noting the glitz of Hollywood life has never been something he’s particularly enjoyed.“...I’m real uncomfortable around rich and important people,” he said, adding he didn’t have much desire to change or fit into that type of world anyway. “I like who I am.” In the end, a romp or two in the car on the way to a red carpet event wasn’t enough to save the pair and they split in 2003, months after announcing they’d adopt a child from Cambodia.Jolie went on with the process and officially adopted Maddox, now 15, who was at the center of recent Brad Pitt abuse claims that were dismissed.Thornton is now married to his sixth wife and long-time partner Connie Angland — the pair share a 12-year-old daughter, Bella, and are both drawn to a quieter lifestyle.

Brad Pitt filed his response to Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing on Friday, November 4. The actor is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their six kids, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce, documents obtained by Us Weekly show.Jolie, who is seeking sole custody of their children, first filed for divorce from her estranged husband on September 19. In his filing, Pitt lists their date of separation as September 15.Pitt’s filing comes just days after Us confirmed that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has extended their investigation into the actor for alleged child abuse. According to a legal source, “it’s normal [for the DCFS] to extend past the deadline to complete their work when an agreement exists between the parties.” As previously reported, Jolie was prompted to file for divorce from Pitt, after more than a decade together, after he got into an alleged altercation while aboard their private plane with their son Maddox. (A source close to Pitt previously told Us that “the abuse suggestions are inaccurate,” and that Pitt is taking the investigation very seriously and is cooperating with authorities.) After going weeks without seeing his dad, Us exclusively revealed that Maddox refused to attend Pitt’s first monitored visit with his kids. “He chose not to go and stayed with Angie,” a source told Us at the time. “It wasn’t full of joy and happiness.”That said, Jolie “is not trying to poison the kids against Brad,” another source previously told Us. “She wants them to have a relationship with him once their health and safety is assured.” Jolie currently has full custody of the kids after the exes signed off on a temporary, voluntary custody arrangement.Us Weekly has reached out to both Pitt and Jolie’s reps.

Brad Pitt's reunion with his kids apparently didn't have a Hollywood ending.Maddox Jolie-Pitt refused to attend an emotional reunion with Brad Pitt as sources told US Weekly that the 15-year-old "doesn't really see himself" as Pitt's son.The teen reportedly chose to stay with mom Angelina Jolie, while his siblings Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, met with Pitt for a supervised visit on Oct. 8 for the first time since Maddox got into an altercation with Pitt on a private jet on Sept. 14.Maddox is very close with Angie," a source close to Jolie told the mag. "He doesn't really see himself as Brad's son."Maddox and Pitt were involved in a mid-air altercation on a Sept. 14 flight, which led to an anonymous call being placed with the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services [DCFS] claiming the "Fight Club" actor was both physically and verbally abusive towards his eldest son. A source close to Pitt told the Daily News that allegations he was physically abusive towards his son were "fabricated.""He certainly could have behaved better, but there was no physical abuse," the source said. An investigation by the DCFS was ongoing as of Sept. 30 when the pair reached a temporary custody agreement, which expires on Oct. 20.The parents agreed to joint physical custody of the six children, but it seems Maddox has chosen sides — a decision that is available to children over 14 in California. "Maddox never wants to see Brad again," a source close to Jolie told Us Weekly.Maddox was adopted from Cambodia by Jolie in 2002 — two years before she began dating Pitt. The "World War Z" star officially adopted Maddox in 2006.Jolie, 41, filed for divorce from Pitt, 52, on Sept. 19, citing irreconcilable differences and a date of separation as Sept. 15.
