Angelina Jolie teared up when she dropped her son Maddox, 18, off at college in South Korea this summer. But on Thursday the Oscar-winning actress and the teen student were reunited at the premiere of the Maleficent sequel Mistress Of Evil at the Roppongi Hills arena in Tokyo, Japan. The flight time from Seoul to Tokyo is only two hours. The eldest Jolie/Pitt child looked proud to support his 44-year-old mother. Also there was Jolie's 14-year-old daughter Zahara. The Salt actress looked thrilled to be reunited with her son as they posed arm in arm with Zahara close by. Jolie put on an incredible display in her fringed gown looking every inch a movie star. The impressive dress was made by Ralph & Russo Couture.Angelina stood out boldly against the green backdrop, which was erected in a nod to her character. The dazzling gown boasted tiers of frills which hung off her figure perfectly while the delicate neckline helped highlight her svelte limbs. She allowed her brunette locks to fall in cascading lengths down her back while she slicked her famously plump pout with a taupe lipstick. Proving to have inherited their mum's sense of style, Zahara and Maddox looked trendy in all-black while supporting their family matriarch.Disney beginners may not recall that Maleficent is the evil fairy in the classic 1959 animation Sleeping Beauty, and that Angelina played her in a 2014 live-action film.Just five years on, Jolie is playing her again in Mistress Of Evil, still wearing black horns, fighting fairies and sorting out her conflicted maternal feelings towards sweet Princess Aurora (Fanning).
This time she has competition from the neighbouring Queen Ingrith (Michelle Pfeiffer) who causes a rift between our anti-heroine and Aurora, when her son Prince Phillip returns to the kingdom and proposes to the Princess. Unbeknown to Aurora, Ingrith is plotting to use their marriage to divide humans and fairies forever, and it is up to Maleficent to try and stop the impending war.Chiwetel Ejiofor joins the cast as the leader of an army of fairies just like Maleficent, while Harris will replace Brenton Thwaites as Prince Phillip. The original 2014 film grossed a whopping $758million worldwide, and brought another success addition to Disney's series of dark fairy tales. The premiere comes after a source told UsWeekly last week that the actress felt 'pressured' into marrying her estranged husband Brad Pitt. 'She felt that Brad pressured her,' said the source.Their wedding was small and intimate with only their six kids in attendance, though the photos were shared with the world through People.Their split in 2016 was not amicable with the FBI involved over an alleged physical fight on a private jet. They resolved their custody issues this year. The Oscar-winning actress has been married a total of three times: To Jonny Lee Miller (1996 until 1999), Billy Bob Thornton (2000 until 2003), then Pitt (2014 to 2016).

Angelina Jolie’s Kids Encouraging Her To Adopt Another Child

Are Angelina Jolie’s kids encouraging her to adopt another child? That’s the story in one of this week’s tabloids. Gossip Cop looked into the scenario and we’ve learned it’s untrue.According to the Globe, Jolie is eager to adopt a seventh kid now that her oldest child Maddox, 18, has left the house and gone off to college in South Korea. “She’s gung ho to expand her family,” says a suspicious tipster, adding that the actress is being coaxed to adopt by her other kids – Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and 11-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.“They’re all for it,” adds the seemingly phony source. “Pax and Zahara are thrilled Angie wants to adopt from a poorer country. Shiloh is all for it because she loves being a big sister already to Viv and Knox, who are also very excited.” From there, the supposed insider says Jolie “favors picking a child from an impoverished region she’s familiar with, like Syria or another part of the Middle East or Africa. The plan is to have a baby in her arms by year’s end at the latest.”The outlet’s report simply isn’t true. In fact, Jolie has adopted so many babies in the fantasy world of the tabloids that she should have around 100 kids in her house by now. Less than a week ago, Gossip Cop busted the Globe’s sister outlet, RadarOnline, for similarly reporting that Jolie was adopting another child now that Maddox has left for college. As we noted, the premise doesn’t make much sense considering that the actress still has five kids living in her house, including two pre-teens.In April, Gossip Cop called out Heat for making up a story about Brad Pitt being furious over Jolie’s plans to adopt another child. The actor wasn’t angry about a nonexistent scenario. Less than year ago, OK! wrongly reported that Jolie was adopting a little boy from Syria. Gossip Cop has corrected so many variations of this narrative that we even dedicated an entire article to wrong rumors about Jolie adopting another baby.Despite how many times we’ve corrected this storyline, Gossip Cop once again checked in with an individual in Jolie’s camp, who assures us it remains untrue. This latest angle involving the actress’s kids encouraging her to adopt is more nonsense. In fact, Jolie gave an interview to Hello! magazine last week and spoke about enjoying motherhood even more as her kids get older. The actress explained, “When they are teenagers you start to remember yourself as a teenager. I’m in this fun moment where I’m rediscovering myself.” The idea that Jolie is “aching” for a baby, as the tabloid puts it, just isn’t true.

Angelina Jolie reveals the heartwarming way her children spoil her

Angelina Jolie has revealed that her doting children go out of their way to make her feel special. Talking exclusively to HELLO! about the importance of self-care as the new muse of Mon Guerlain's Eau de Parfum Intense, the actress discusses how most women often don't make time for themselves or feel guilty when they do. But she says her six children - Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and Vivienne and Knox, 11 know how to make her feel special and ensure that special days like Mother's Day are celebrated to the fullest.
"On Mother's Day my children make me breakfast and pick me flowers – they treat me like a lady," she revealed. "When I do take time for myself, I rediscover that softness I speak of... I also realise I have more fight and resilience in me than I knew. But at my core I'm soft and vulnerable - it's not my dream just to be strong. I want to be allowed to be soft and I don’t want to be harmed or feel unsupported when I am." HELLO! sat down with the actress and humanitarian while she was in Paris with her godmother, the British actress Jacqueline Bisset. The duo were in town for the launch of Mon Guerlain's Eau de Parfum Intense, which has notes of vanilla as the star ingredient."It's wonderful to be back in Paris. It reminds me that I don't spend nearly enough time here," she said. "Sometimes we're somewhere in our lives and can't really imagine something different – we don't take ourselves out of a place. But when I'm in Paris, I feel like a different person – and I’m curious about that side of myself. It’s enlightening here." Angelina's visit to the country is close to her heart – it was where she gave birth to her twins – also coincides with a press preview of the perfume's promotional film, shot by Oscar-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki at Angelina's new home in Cambodia.
"When I first started working with Guerlain in 2017, we spoke about how perfume commercials often capture a fantasy life – and we wanted to deliver something that was a little heightened but still real. The first Mon Guerlain film was shot at my home in France. For this new perfume, given its strength and our conversations around femininity, freedom and making bold choices, my new home in Cambodia seemed like the natural setting. My [Maddox Jolie-Pitt] Foundation has been based in Cambodia for 17 years and it has been a dream of mine to live in that part of the world. The film is set in the home that I’ve finally built there." It certainly feels like a new life chapter for the mother of six. Her son Maddox, 18, recently started college in South Korea. Angelina says it has given her a new perspective: "When your children are little you feel more 'mommy'. When they are teenagers you start to remember yourself as a teenager. You see them going to punk clubs and you wonder why you can't go. I'm in this fun moment where I’m rediscovering myself."
Asked about values she teaches her children, Angelina replied: "Kindness – to others and themselves. It's important to be humble – know the freedoms you have and what you've been blessed with and make sure you help others. And always remember your place – we’re all human and very flawed. We're tiny pieces in a much bigger world. "As they grow up, I find my children are strong individuals but still open-minded. I try to lead by example and be kind and gracious, as my mother was – and loving and tolerant. But when there's a fight that needs to be had, get in there. We need to prepare the next generation because there’s so much happening in the world – they’re up against it. I'm working on a programme for children with the BBC. We're counting on our children so we must give them the right knowledge and support." The new Eau De Parfum Intense is the fourth Mon Guerlain fragrance. "I like them all differently," she said when asked how this scent compares to the others. "I just had them all out in the hotel room and I tried to pick a favourite, but I couldn’t. It’s an embarrassment of riches to have these different versions; you don’t know which to wear for day or at night. The new one does seem stronger, though."

Angelina Jolie looked like an average mom when she went grocery shopping in Hollywood with her daughters Vivienne and Zahara on Wednesday.Except the 44-year-old beauty wore gold-rimmed sunglasses the entire time. This comes after her ex-husband Brad Pitt told The New York Times this week that he used his 'pain, grief and loss' from his divorce to play a troubled astronaut in his new movie Ad Astra. While in the Gelson's supermarket, the UN Special Envoy took her time picking out food items as Zahara, dressed in black, pushed the cart. The red carpet fixture was seen in the spice aisle near a tower of Smart Water and also in the imported cheeses section. The Oscar winner had on a beige trench coat even though there was no rain in sight during the heatwave. And underneath the Maleficent star wore a white dress. She added beige sandals and a brown purse. The entire time the Vogue cover girl wore a pair of brown sunglasses with a gold rim.Shiloh stood out in a grey NASA shirt and a pair of denim overalls with grey Nike sneakers. Her kids Maddox (who is attending college in South Korea), Pax, Knox and Shiloh were not seen. This sighting comes after Pitt poured his heart out to the NYT.In his new movie Ad Astra he plays a trouble astronaut. The synopsis reads: 'A man journeys across a lawless solar system to find his missing father - a renegade scientist who poses a threat to humanity.'The discussion with the Times began when Pitt said he wanted his performance to come from a place of 'absolute truth.'He said: 'The ultimate place for my style of acting, as I understand it, is to get to a place of just absolute truth.'I've got to be experiencing something that's real to me for it to read real to you.'And Brad suggested his marriage split from Jolie - the mother of his six children - informed his work on upcoming movie Ad Astra. He said: 'I had family stuff going on. We'll leave it at that...'The fact is, we all carry pain, grief and loss. We spend most of our time hiding it, but it's there, it's in you. So you open up those boxes.'
Director James Gray added: 'He definitely used the stimuli from his life. 'Now, I didn't get personal with him about it at all - I don't think it's my business, or even my job - but he investigated the essence of the character through himself.'Brad and Angelina met on the set of Mr And Mrs Smith when she already had son Maddox in her life. They began dating either during filming or after the movie wrapped, depending on which source is asked. They welcomed Shiloh then twins Knox and Vivienne while also adopting two more children, Pax and Zahara.Together they share custody of five of the six kids as Maddox is an adult. Pitt was not present when Jolie dropped Maddox off at college in South Korea in August. The two have not been seen together in years and neither seems to have moved on romantically. In the same interview he talked addiction: 'I had taken things as far as I could take it, so I removed my drinking privileges,' said the Fight Club star of his decision to join AA. Pitt said he found 'great value' in Alcoholics Anonymous: 'It was this safe space where there was little judgment, and therefore little judgment of yourself.''It was actually really freeing just to expose the ugly sides of yourself.' Also in his NYT interview, Pitt said he plans to make 'fewer' movies. The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor is taking a step back from being in front of the camera because he's focused on his work with his production company Plan B, as well as hobbies including sculpting and landscaping. 'It'll be fewer and farther in between for me, just because I have other things I want to do now,' said the star.'When you feel like you've finally got your arms around something, then it's time to go get your arms around something else.'But with the rise of streaming services, the 56-year-old star isn't sure how much of a future there is in long form story-telling.He told the newspaper: 'I'm curious to see if movies last, if movies stick around.'Brad enjoys producing because it means a much more simple day than if he's acting. He said: 'Producing just means you don't have to get up really early and put on make-up.' Pitt was last seen with Kanye West at the rapper's church service on Sunday in LA
