Angelina Jolie had a packed day in the city of lights on Tuesday.The director and activist, 42, visited the French capital to film a commercial on the Champs-Elysées for perfume house Guerlain and took the time to squeeze in sightseeing with her six kids at the famous Louvre museum. Jolie has been a spokesmodel for the brand since 2016.Jolie also met with the French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron during a visit to the presidential Elysées Palace, in the afternoon. A source tells PEOPLE Jolie and the first lady met for an hour and discussed several topics Jolie is actively involved in, including “education, violence against women and [Jolie]’s activities as UNHCR Special Envoy and her visit to Jordan.” The two were snapped saying goodbye by the first lady’s chief of staff Tristan Bromet on his Instagram.Jolie’s trip also including an outing to the Louvre with all six kids in tow earlier in the day. Jolie and the kids — Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and 9-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — toured the museum for two hours before heading back to their hotel.The outing comes days after Jolie visited a refugee camp in Jordan on Sunday. The actress was joined by Zahara and Shiloh during a UNHCR trip to the Zataari refugee camp in the city. There, they met with Syrians who fled the violence of the ongoing civil war in the country, including girls around Jolie’s daughters’ ages who were part of the TIGER (These Inspiring Girls Enjoy Reading) project, which focuses on education and empowerment.Jolie spoke to the refugees about how they inspired her and gave her hope.“After seven years of war, most Syrian refugees have exhausted any savings they had. The vast majority of them already live below the poverty line, on less than three dollars a day. Imagine what that would mean for your family,” she said in a speech. “Here, it means families going without sufficient food; children unable to get medical treatment; young girls vulnerable to early marriage; and many Syrians facing their seventh winter without proper shelter.”

Reporters from Entertainment Tonight saw the young performer in Los Feliz, California on Sunday, with her arm in a sling.A source close to the family confirmed that Shiloh "broke her arm while snowboarding," but is now "fine" in a conversation with People. The insider added Angelina Jolie was "very grateful to the team who helped her."Shiloh and her five siblings have been beacons of support for their mother in the past year, as her tumultuous relationship with their father rocks the headlines. Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt back on Sep. 16, 2016, but this past summer there were rumors that the famous couple might reconcile.Either way, Jolie says her children are her first and foremost priority.“We all have our difficult times, but as a mother, you also have a responsibility first and foremost towards the kids," the 42-year-old actress told People in September. "They are going through their formative years and everything else comes second to that.” Jolie confirmed that she plans to continue easing back into her acting career, but all of her projects will be tailored to her childrens' needs.“Everything will be around the children,” she said. “I haven’t worked for over a year now because they needed me home. Everything was just stopped. I’m really sitting and talking with them because everything affects them. Every location, every type of project, I’m going to have to adjust it to however much they can handle.”

Angelina Jolie is overseeing the education of her children Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, aged nine.On Wednesday People reported the 42-year-old beauty has the kids home schooled inside their new $24m mansion in Los Feliz, California.They are learning all the basics like reading and arithmetic, but are also taking on languages classes and learning musical instruments.And they don't all speak the same languages.In 2016 she told BBC: 'All the kids are learning different languages.'I asked them what languages they wanted to learn and Shi is learning Khmai, which is the Cambodian language, Pax is focusing on Vietnamese, Mad has taken to German and Russian, Z is speaking French, Vivienne really wanted to learn Arabic, and Knox is learning sign language.'The People source added: 'They have tutors for all kinds of subjects, including different languages and instruments.'The kids are also very physically active. They like soccer and love skateboarding, and also take self-defense classes,' said the source.Her ex, Brad Pitt, sees the kids on the weekends, which he 'treasures,' the source noted. The Allied actor lives only 10 minutes away from his family. At a screening of First They Killed My Father in early December, she told People: 'It bothered me how little I was taught in school.'I do worry about my children’s education.'I homeschool partially because they are from around the world and it’s very … I didn’t want them to have the same education I had when it came to Vietnam or Cambodia.'
