Angelia Jolie has revealed she is focused on 'healing our family' after struggling through a 'pretty hard few years' amid her bitter divorce from Brad Pitt. The 45-year-old actress admitted that she is still dealing with the fallout from her 2016 split from Pitt, 57, but said that she finally feels as though her happiness is 'slowly coming back'. In an interview with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, Jolie shared some insight into how her life has changed since the end of her marriage, while posing for photos alongside her children at their $25 million Los Angeles home - which she says she bought because it is just five minutes away from Pitt's house. 'I wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away,' she said of the sprawling property, which was once owned by late director Cecil B DeMille. The screen star and humanitarian spoke of how 'the ice [is] melting and the blood returning to my body' as she works to heal her family from the tumultuous time. A new black and white shot sees Angelina, dressed in a sleeveless white top, seated at the table as her kids tuck into a delicious meal.Another photo shows the doting mother styling her eldest son Maddox's hair in the bathroom of their LA home. The photos were taken when Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enninful, caught up with the actress in her LA home to discuss her family and work. The accompanying interview sees Angelina reflecting on her life since the end of her 12-year relationship with Brad. The humanitarian has been single ever since she separated from fellow thespian Brad in September 2016, following two years of marriage. The former couple are said to be 'in a better place' after battling over finances and the custody of their children.Confessing she 'doesn't know' whether she's currently happy, Angelina insisted to Vogue that she has a positive outlook on the future. The Girl, Interrupted star shared: 'The past few years have been pretty hard. I've been focusing on healing our family. It's slowly coming back, like the ice melting and the blood returning to my body.'I'm looking forward to my fifties - I feel that I'm gonna hit my stride in my fifties. Though we were on the trampoline the other day, and the children said, ''No, Mom, don't do that. You'll hurt yourself.'' And I thought, ''God, isn't that funny?'' 'There was a day I was an action star, and now the kids are telling me to get off the trampoline because I'll hurt myself.'
Angelina insists she doesn't view herself as 'a traditional stay-at-home mum' as she was 'was never very good at sitting still', but she does credit her six kids for 'helping' her motherhood journey. On juggling her career with looking after her kids, the Tomb Raider icon told the publication: 'Well, I was never very good at sitting still.'Even though I wanted to have many children and be a mom, I always imagined it kind of like Jane Goodall, travelling in the middle of the jungle somewhere. I didn't imagine it in that true, traditional sense. 'I feel like I'm lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom. I'm managing through it because the children are quite resilient, and they're helping me, but I'm not good at it at all.' Angelina filed to absolve her marriage to Brad in 2016, saying in a June 2020 interview with Vogue India that it was for 'the well-being of my family,' adding 'it was the right decision.'It was reported at the time that Pitt had gotten into an alcohol-fueled violent screaming match with Jolie, prompting eldest son Maddox, 19, to defend his mother. Jolie was granted temporary custody over all six children and Brad was granted visitation rights with a court-appointed therapist present. In 2018, a court ruled in favor of Brad after he alleged that Angelina was preventing the children from having a consistent relationship with him. He was given a temporary summer custody that allowed him to spend time with the kids without Jolie present. She then alleged that summer that he had not been paying 'meaningful' child support for over a year, with Pitt retorting that he had loaned Angelina $8M and given an additional $1.8M to help with bills. The custody trial was supposed to begin in November 2018 but the two reached an agreement instead, with ET reporting that it was in the best interest of the children and eliminated the need for a trial.
Pitt was granted less than 50 percent custody of the kids despite wanting equal joint custody, prompting him to continue fighting for what he saw fit in another trial. The pair were ruled 'legally single' in April 2020 but the status did not finalize the divorce or the custody battle. Brad continues to seek joint custody with a trial that was scheduled for October, as he compiled a list of over 20 witnesses to strengthen his case. The couple had already decided that Maddox was not a custody consideration and could decide when he wanted to see Brad as he was no longer a minor. Many details of the trial have been kept under wraps, though a decision was purported to be expected at their next trial which was scheduled for December 21. In her latest interview with Vogue, the Unbroken star also touched on her role as the special envoy from the UN Refugee Agency. Angelina shared: 'I started in my early twenties, putting on my boots and backpack, and going out to try and figure out what the hell was going on in the world. 'I tried to give myself a broader education than I’d had at school. I grew up in a very empty place, in many ways, so had to go to find a wider understanding.'The activist went on to admit she believes the perception of refugees has 'worsened' over time, explaining: 'We speak as if refugees are a burden. But they’ve had to adapt. They have a different skill set, a different look in their eye. 'They’ve confronted their own humanity in such a profound way. They’ve stood up to oppression. We should honour their fight. Honour the people who’ve fled bombs and protected their kids.' Stressing the importance of teaching global citizenship to her kids, she added: 'They are from across the globe. When I see Mad in Cambodia, it’s his home. 'He is a Cambodian man, and at the same time, he is also an American citizen and a global citizen. But it’s not just important for him to go there, it’s important for his siblings to go there, too. 'We’ve been very blessed to have a family of different cultures and races. We are all learning from each other.'The Maleficent star first took on her humanitarian duties following her trip to Cambodia for Tomb Raider back in 2000. She visited the Asian country - where she met and subsequently adopted Maddox with ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton - for a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) field mission. The TV and film star later travelled to Pakistan, where she donated $1 million (£821,980) in response to an emergency appeal. Angelina - who co-founded the Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative nine years ago - has since taken a hands-on approach in promoting a number of causes, including education, women's rights and conservation.

Angelina Jolie’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, and Katie Holmes’ only child, Suri Cruise were recently dubbed as Hollywood’s teen royalty. As children of very famous Hollywood A-listers, there’s, allegedly, some expectation for Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Cruise to become friends. However, New Idea claimed that despite suggestions for the two teenagers to go on playdates together, Shiloh and Cruise have both rejected the idea of them becoming good pals.“I think they knew then that Shi and Suri had nothing in common,” the source said.Cruise is described as bona fide New Yorker. And she has been spotted hanging out with a group of friends on multiple occasions.“She and Katie are more like sisters than mother and daughter. She basically grew up without a dad. Though I’ve heard there has been some tension between them since Katie began being photographed kissing her new toyboy on every street corner,” the source said.Cruise is also described as a fashionista with a taste for expensive high heels and handbags. The source also claimed that Tom Cruise’s daughter already told Holmes that she’s ready to go out on dates.“She’s an old soul and wise beyond her years, so I think Katie’s going to allow her to go on dates when she’s 15,” the source said.Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, on the other hand, maybe 14 but she’s practically still a child. The source said that Jolie couldn’t be more thrilled that Shiloh still isn’t interested in dating. And the Maleficent star, allegedly, hopes Shiloh will stay youthful for as long as possible.“Her parents’ divorce dragging out has taken its toll. When Brad was only allowed visitation, it was tough on Shiloh as she was always very close with her father. She is very introverted and shy compared to the rest of them. She used to hang on Brad’s every word. She still dresses just like him to this day,” the source said. The insider said that it’s interesting to know that Shiloh and Cruise have never hung out with each other. After all, the A-list bubble is quite small.“Who knows, maybe as they get older, they’ll reach out to one another. They certainly would both have notes to compare about being raised in the Hollywood spotlight,” the source said.Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, on the other hand, maybe 14 but she’s practically still a child. However, the tabloid’s claims about Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Cruise are obviously based on hearsays. It is unlikely for an unnamed source to know details about the teenagers’ dating life or level of maturity.

Angelina Jolie is currently in the midst of a custody battle with ex Brad Pitt over access rights to five of their six children. On Saturday the 45-year-old actress was seen shopping with their daughter Zahara, 16, in Los Angeles as they hit up a Nordstrom. For the mother-daughter outing Jolie looked effortlessly elegant in a white linen dress and a trench coat as they enjoyed some retail therapy. The Maleficent actress emerged from the department store in the ankle length dress and a pair of white sandals with a kitten heel. She layered up with a classic coat and draped a white Dior bag over her shoulder, as she carried a bag full of clothes. Jolie was masked up for the outing and wore her signature brown tresses down. Zahara kept it casual in jeans and a black blouse with a pair of black Air Jordan's on her feet as they spent some quality one-on-one time together. The duo were seen making their way to a black SUV as a handsome bodyguard assisted them with their purchases. The outing comes amid a lengthy custody battle over Zahara, Pax, 16, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12, with Pitt and Jolie also still trying to finalize their divorce after two years of marriage. Angelina Jolie has been enjoying some quality time with her six children at home during quarantine. And the three-time Golden Globe winner has frequently been seen getting her kids out of the house to help her run errands. She put on an effortlessly chic display Sunday in an oversized black overcoat, as she stepped out for some grocery shopping with her son Knox at Target in Los Angeles. The 45-year-old layered the jacket over a matching black top with black pants and a pair of black leather booties. She took precautions against COVID-19 in a black face mask, as she walked with Knox, 12, who pushed their cart.Jolie also shares sons Maddox, 19, Pax, 17, daughters Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 14, and Knox's twin Vivienne, 12, with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 57.The once Hollywood power couple began dating after their 2005 film Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and they finally got married in August of 2014, before filing for divorce in September of 2016.Pitt reportedly spent Christmas Eve with their three biological children Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne (Maddox, Pax and Zahara were adopted).'They can spend the night with him on Christmas Eve,' a source told Us Weekly last month, adding that the exes' 'egos have once again derailed' plans to spend the holiday together as a family. The insider added: 'Brad and Angelina are equally responsible for the never-ending drama. Sadly, their children are collateral damage.' Another source told Page Six that the situation is 'not that simple': 'Every holiday, every birthday, someone always leaks the same thing about Brad and his supposed plans to see the kids, like the pizza party for Shiloh's birthday this year — and it seems like there's never any truth to it.' And although the court restored them to single status back in April of 2019, unresolved issues in their custody battle 'are still raging.'

Angelina Jolie Adopting Seventh Child?
- Details

365 days ago, Gossip Cop confronted a story about Angelina Jolie adopting a seventh baby. We debunked the story at the time, but now that there’s been plenty of time to plan an adoption, we’re checking in to see if the Wanted star became a mother of seven. Let’s take a look back on that story to see how we did.
Seventh Celebration? According to The Globe, Jolie had wanted to adopt a seventh child for a long time but was waiting for her divorce from Brad Pitt to finalize. “Now that the settlement's in the final stages - and she's confident it will be done and dusted any week now,” Jolie was focusing on adoptions. With her eldest song Maddox off to college, Jolie was “already feeling empty-nest symptoms” and was now, with Pitt powerless to stop her, about to “do what she wants.” Gossip Cop busted this story at the time because it was an extremely common rumor. This very tabloid ran a very similar story a few months earlier about Jolie’s kids encouraging their mother to adopt a seventh child. A source close to Jolie assured us Jolie had no plans to adopt another baby, so we busted the story.
Did She Adopt Another Child? Contrary to what this bogus source said, the divorce was not in its “final stages,” and was not cleared up in a matter of weeks. The divorce and subsequent custody battle are still ongoing. This means it’s still technically possible Jolie could adopt a child to celebrate her divorce, but that’s assuming this story was ever remotely true.A full year has passed since this story and we haven’t heard a peep about it since. Jolie did not end up adopting another child, so this story was obviously made-up. The Hackers star’s year included work on The Eternals and her slow-moving divorce with Pitt.
Not The Final Bogus Story. Jolie is a favorite target of Globe, so she’s often at the center of bogus stories. It claimed her kids, whose ages range from 12-18 mind you, were irritating the neighbors with their unwatched behavior. Jolie lives on a massive estate, so it’s far-fetched to think the teenagers could be loud enough to annoy the neighbors. We also busted its story about Jolie prowling for women to celebrate being single. This wasn’t the last time the custody battle was written about either. It claimed Jolie was using witchcraft to help her win custody and said she was starving herself over Pitt. Jolie is using lawyers, not witchcraft, to win her custody battle. The starvation narrative is a common one with Jolie, but that doesn’t make it true. This tabloid clearly has no legitimate insight into Jolie’s life as she hasn’t died of starvation, nor has she adopted another baby.
