           Angelina Jolie was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on the Fourth of July holiday. The 51-year-old actress was clad in a black maxi dress with billowy, elbow-grazing sleeves as she ran errands in the Studio City neighborhood. She draped a large brown leather bag with gold hardware over her shoulder during the outing.And the mom of six carried a large white coffee cup while sporting square-shaped, black-rimmed eyeglasses. Her long, blonde highlighted locks were swept into a messy bun and secured with a clip. It comes amid Jolie's ongoing legal war with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 62, who recently attempted to retrieve her tax returns from the three years following their split.It stems from a disagreement regarding their shared French winery, Château Miraval. Pitt claims ex-wife Jolie sold her stake behind his back, breaking an agreement they previously made that they would not sell without the other's knowledge. The Fight Club star, 62, in legal documents reviewed by the Daily Mail, requested Jolie turn in her tax records and other financial documents pertaining to the years 2017–2019, based on remarks she made that she says Pitt is taking out of context. The Maleficent actress said in legal documents reviewed by TMZ that his efforts are part of a 'continued mischaracterization and selective quoting' of statements she's made about the long-running case. Pitt told the court that he has expended time and labor into the winery in Correns, France, and he claimed Jolie breached their pact when she sold her share of the estate to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler. Jolie told the court that she didn't need Pitt's approval over the transaction; and that he took past statements that she made about the sale to achieve 'financial independence' out of context. The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for Jolie and Pitt for further comment on the story. Jolie clarified her comment to mean that she wanted to delineate her finances from Pitt's in an effort to separate herself from him, and not about her money situation in general. Pitt's attorneys told the court that the remark essentially opened her up to scrutiny considering the nature of the litigation. Jolie's legal team said the gist of her remark was that she had been looking for 'financial independence from her ex-husband.' It was added that 'separating from one's ex-husband is categorically different from allegations that one is suffering from general financial distress.' Her team emphasized that she had been looking to 'untangle her life and her finances from' Pitt. Jolie and Pitt are parents to six children: Maddox, 24, Pax, 22, Zahara, 21, Shiloh, 19, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 17.  They split in 2016 following a 12-year relationship and two-year marriage, with their divorce finalized eight years later in December 2024 amid a number of legal battles.

        Angelina Jolie is returning to the public domain with her film Couture as she prepares to bid farewell to Los Angeles.The 51-year-old actress appeared to be on a mission on Saturday as she stepped out in the sweltering city, where temperatures hovered around 77 degrees F.Jolie practically absorbed the heat in an all-black outfit comprised of a loosely fitting top and skinny jeans.Wearing opaque shades and her mahogany-hued hair styled in a casual updo, she strutted to her car while shouldering a large black tote bag.The outing follows news that her son Pax, 22, who was spotted on a rare outing in Los Angeles the same day, still retains ties to the paternal side of his family and hasn't filed to remove Pitt from his name, despite his estrangement from father Brad Pitt, according to Page Six.'Pax still has a relationship with his dad's side of the family and continues to spend time with them,' a source told the outlet. 'He recently joined his family as they went out to dinner and celebrated his cousin Sydney’s engagement to Archimede Jerome.' The gathering was also attended by Pitt's sister Julie Pitt Neal and his niece Reagan Pitt along with other family members.Back in March, Sydney announced her engagement on Instagram, writing: 'I said yes (duh).'Pax, however, 'doesn’t have much of a relationship with Brad,' a second source noted.Pax was 16 years old when he shared a scathing Father's Day message in an Instagram Story, calling Pitt a 'world class a**hole' who made his younger children 'tremble in fear.'In 2024, when the 'nepo baby' suffered a traumatic head injury following his electric bike accident, his father was reportedly unable to reach him or visit him in the hospital.His siblings have taken steps to distance themselves from the F1 star, 62.Jolie and Pitt adopted Maddox, 24, Pax and Zahara, 21, and are also the parents of three biological children, Shiloh, 20, and 17-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

           Angelina Jolie wore something that belonged to her late mother Marcheline Bertrand when filming her new movie Couture.The Oscar-winning actress told People she had on a gold necklace that her mom used to wear while playing filmmaker Maxine Walker for the Paris-set drama.The 50-year-old star can be seen in the trailer wearing the necklace which has a gold pendant.The movie also parallels her mom's own personal health journey: When Maxine travels to Paris to make a movie about a fashion runway, she learns she had breast cancer.Jolie's mother Bertrand died from breast and ovarian cancer in 2007 at the age of 56.Jolie also lost her grandmother and her aunt to breast cancer. Because of this genetic history, in 2013, Jolie publicly announced that she underwent a preventive double mastectomy after learning she carried the BRCA1 genetic mutation. Two years later, she also had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed to further reduce her cancer risks.The conversation with People happened on Monday at a dinner at the store Atelier Jolie in New York City. It was catered by the immigrant and refugee chefs of Eat Offbeat.Jolie also talked to the publication about the emotions of the 'beautiful' movie Couture.'It has something to say that I thought could be useful to people, showing how everyone is dealing with things that make us very human, and that if we can figure out how to live through challenges by leaning on each other and having more empathy towards one another, the better and less alone we will be,' she shared.'Alice is a wonderful director and approaches the stories of the women in Couture with sensitivity and hope. 'The film is not about an end for my character but rather about a renewed desire to live life until your last breath which particularly resonates with me at this time in my life,' Jolie said.'I am not sure I was strong enough even five years ago to do this. To be open and trusting to share and be vulnerable again,' she also shared.'Things happen in life that take us off path. We lose ourselves and we feel isolated. I would have given anything to have my mother alive to be there for her grandchildren,' she noted.Jolie's movie Couture 'particularly resonates' with her.'I am not sure I was strong enough even five years ago to do this. To be open and trusting to share and be vulnerable again,' she said.The ex-wife of Brad Pitt has previously admitted the cancer storyline was particularly emotional for her she told Variety earlier. 'I felt very vulnerable. I feel like it's such a personal film. It felt so private that in my mind, it's probably the one film that doesn't feel like a film.'The actress knew making the movie would 'bring up many personal things' but she found it a 'healing' experience.She told the publication: 'I have always found the heaviest films tend to have the most loving sets. There's something quite comforting about having real conversations and having real feelings with a shared community.'It was quite healing in many ways because you look at the other faces of the people on the set, because one in three people have cancer, and most everybody's been in a hospital room with somebody they've loved. Everybody on set has lost someone they've loved.'You recognize that life is fragile and time goes quickly, and people pass away that we can't imagine the world could exist without ... It's hard not to feel very close to a crew and other actors in this kind of a piece.'Jolie also learned to speak French for the movie, which won her praise from director Alice Wincour, who said: 'She really immersed herself in the part and was obsessed with the idea of speaking French, even more than me.'Her mother was French, so there were many things that were very intimate. She really dedicated herself to the movie.'Couture will come out in theaters on June 26.
