Angelina Jolie spends $15k a year on 'raindrop' facials

The Maleficent actress visits Dr. David Colbert every month for a 'triad facial' laser treatment to help maintain her glowing complexion and youthful appearance. The doctor - whose clients also include Naomi Watts and Jennifer Lawrence - said: "People call it a facial but it is actually a non-invasive laser treatment."First we prep skin with microdermabrasion so the laser penetrates better. Then we use a laser, which feels like warm raindrops on the skin. After that. we do a lavender acid exfoliation, then apply gentle wave lights."The treatment takes about 35 minutes for the face or an hour for the whole body - we usually treat the arms and legs, the bits that will be on show."Most of our stars will have it before a big event - the Emmys or Oscars. People who are regularly in the media will come in monthly or every other month."Dr. Colbert first worked with Angelina, 39, on 2009 movie Salt, where he helped created a special face cream for her.He told Britain's Grazia magazine: "I've worked with her on several movies as a consultant where there has been prosthetic make-up.For Salt we developed a skin cream that was really gentle, with shea nut butter."It's called Heal and Soothe, $120, and helps keep skin looking calm and dewy."

Report: Angelina Jolie Taking ‘Legal Action’ Against Daily Mail Over Video

The actor is said to be upset over a video the Daily Mail posted, which purports to show her addicted to heroin during the 1990s.This hasn’t been the best week for the Daily Mail and its celebrity relationships. Just days after actor George Clooney published a scathing op-ed in USA Today, railing against the Daily Mail‘s “irresponsibility” in publishing a story about his fiancée’s family opposing their relationship on religious grounds, a new celebrity has taken aim at the British publication.Angelina Jolie is taking legal action against the Daily Mail, reports the London Times, over a video published online, which the newspaper claims shows the actress when she was a heroin user in the late 1990s. The 16-minute video, which was originally published by the National Enquirer, shows the actress walking around an apartment and talking on the phone. The clip was allegedly shot by Franklin Meyer, who claims to have been the Oscar winner’s drug dealer when she was living in New York, according to the Mail’s article, which was published on July 8.Jolie has dicussed her past drug use in interviews before, but the Times reports that she views the Daily Mail‘s publication of the video as a “gross violation of her privacy.”

National Enquirer: Angelina Jolie Caught In Dirty Drug Den

“Maleficent” actress Angelina Jolie is featured on the front cover of the latest issue of “National Enquirer” magazine. On this week’s cover, the magazine claims Angie has been caught in the middle of a dirty drug den. Of course, the tabloid is actually digging up dirt from the late nineties — before her engagement to Brad Pitt and way before she had any children to think of.The tabloid claims that they have spoken to Angelina’s former drug dealer who admitted to selling her cocaine and heroin. In addition, the magazine claims that Angelina admitted to some pretty wild sex confessions, some of which may end up embarrassing her husband-to-be. A source close to the situation said, “This will be the final humiliation for Brad – and he could even call off their wedding.”We highly doubt that Brad would call off their wedding because she was allegedly promiscuous before they even knew each other and was an alleged drug addict. It’s not like it’s some big secret that Angelina liked drugs and women back in the day…The dealer also filmed a 16-minute video of the actress which is said to blow the lid right off of her image as a humanitarian. The “Enquirer” is where to go when you want your news straight from another decade, yo.

She thinks it will add gravitas to her in her humanitarian work."Gradually she will focus less on acting and more on world issues and this helps to detract from her Hollywood history."Angelina has close ties to the African country as it is where she gave birth to eight-year-old daughter Shiloh - her first biological child with fiance Brad Pitt - in 2006. The youngster is considered a Namibian citizen and has a passport issued by the country. The Namibian Embassy says it would be happy to consider the A-list actress for citizenship.A representative said: "We would welcome Angelina Jolie to make an application for citizenship, just like anyone else."Angelina - who also raises adopted kids Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, and Zahara, nine, and biological twins Knox and Vivienne, five, with Brad - has become a lauded public figure for her humanitarian efforts in ending sexual violence in conflict zones through the United Nations (UN).
