The bogus report even includes a rundown of the actress’s alleged wedding plans, but it’s all made-up. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight.According to In Touch, Jolie is on the verge of getting hitched for the fourth time. “She’s been serious with a wealthy 40-something British philanthropist and businessman since early this year,” a so-called “source” tells the magazine. “She’s kept him hidden. It’s very hush-hush. If it makes Brad unhappy when he finds out, she’s fine with that. It’s another way of sticking it to Brad.” The outlet’s questionable source further claims the actress has vindictively set out to make Pitt suffer. “She knows if he finds out after the fact it will hurt him, especially with the kids involved in the ceremony.” Speaking of the exes’ six children, the “insider” contends that they’re “purposely being left in the dark because they would accidentally tell Brad, and Angie doesn’t want him to know anything ahead of the marriage.” The seemingly phony source also maintains that Jolie has the ceremony, gown and location already mapped out. The actress will allegedly hold a small wedding in Cambodia, where she’ll wear “traditional Cambodian garb,” serve indigenous food, and involve her kids in various aspects of the celebration. “She’s marrying for love, but she also knows there’s the added benefit that it might make Brad unhappy,” adds the supposed insider, who sounds as if he or she is still in high school. “It’s been more than a year since she blindsided him with the divorce, and she’s still trying to hurt him.” However, this is all the same recycled narrative that In Touch already tried to push earlier this year. Gossip Cop corrected the unreliable outlet in April when it wrongly reported Jolie was getting married to a “wealthy British businessman.” The following month, the tabloid similarly claimed Jolie’s wedding would be held in Cambodia. Obviously, neither of those events ever occurred, and they still aren’t happening. Of course, if the tabloid really had scoop on Jolie getting married, wouldn’t it know the name of the groom? Additionally, the magazine doesn’t provide any details about how the actress and the alleged “British philanthropist” met. It’s also not explained in the publication how Jolie has become so serious with this mysterious “businessman,” and yet none of her six children has an inkling their mom is ready to wed.Among the other reasons the outlet’s cover story doesn’t add up is because Jolie herself recently confirmed she’s single. Regardless, Gossip Cop is exclusively assured by a source close to the actress that she’s not getting married, nor is she dating anyone at the moment. As for the assertion she’s trying to punish Pitt, that’s also simply not the case.
