It’s a pretty nice place to stay while you work.If you were going to be in London, England, for a few months for work, you’d probably, what, settle for whatever corporate apartment they found for you out by the airport or near the office? Because that’s just the way things have to be, right? Wrong! You don’t have to stay in some drab condo or business suite hotel for months on end! You can rent a huge mansion with a tennis court, multiple swimming pools, and a movie theater. That’s what Brad Pitt is doing, so why can’t you? Pitt, who is filming Netflix’s Stanley McChrystal movie War Machine in London for six months, is staying in a $21,000-per-month mansion in Surrey, where he will live with his wife, Angelina Jolie, and their many children. Us Weekly gives us some details about the home, most intriguingly that the mansion is “just a 35-minute boat ride from George and Amal Clooney’s nine-bedroom home.” Which is interesting, don’t you think? Does that imply that there will be many boating trips between the two mansions? Is there a dedicated ferry for that, or does Brad Pitt now have to buy a boat big enough to transport himself and his family to and from the Clooneys’ house? Is Brad Pitt going to become a boatsman? Will Angelina Jolie write a sequel called By the River?
Who knows. And who knows what it’s like when those two couples hang out, three of them talking about movies and then one of them being like, “Oh, that reminds me of when I spoke to members of Congress about the human-rights crisis in the Maldives,” and then there’s a pause and someone says, “Did you say Maleficent?,” and then the other one says, “No, Maldives.” That must be interesting!But anyway, we were talking about you. About your plans for your long work stay somewhere. Does this news, of Brad Pitt’s eight-bedroom mansion with its spa and billiards room, help encourage you to fight for your own comfortable accommodations? I hope it does. Because with a little ingenuity and tens of thousands of dollars, you, too, could be spending your business trip in style. Chances are you won’t find a place that has regular boat service to George Clooney’s house, and even if there was, you probably wouldn’t be let in once you got there, but other than that, you could find yourself very similar digs. I mean, the London area is lousy with mansions, even some that haven’t been bought by Russian oligarchs. And $21,000 a month isn’t even that much, when you really think about it. Sure, it’s more than most people pay for a year’s rent, but it’s not crazy. So, I think you can make this happen. Just go talk to Dawn and Gill in H.R. and they’ll help you out. You just have to ask the right way. Probably don’t mention anything about the Clooney boat, not yet anyway. Ease into that one. But do fight against the extended-stay hotel or business suite or whatever they’re calling the box they want to put you in. Demand, gently, the house with the movie theater and swimming pools. If Brad Pitt deserves it, so do you.

Angelina Jolie Demands Brad Pitt Take DNA Test To Prove He’s Not The Father Of Melissa Etheridge’s Kids

          Singer Melissa Etheridge recently said Brad Pitt was almost — but not — the sperm donor for her two children, but it was enough to make Angelina Jolie suspicious. The Oscar winner reportedly demanded that Pitt take a DNA test to prove he did not father the children. However, this tale comes from the National Enquirer, which claimed last week that Pitt threatened to divorce “dying” Jolie if she didn’t get help for a rumored eating disorder.Not surprisingly, Gossip Cop debunked the rumor about Etheridge’s children the same day National Enquirer published it. The website famously discredits erroneous stories, and Wednesday’s stories were just the latest examples. “Gossip Cop has repeatedly busted the Enquirer for its many false claims about Pitt and Jolie, including a recent made-up tale that the actor was threatening to divorce his wife because she’s allegedly ‘dying,” the site wrote. “[Enquirer’s] latest claim involving Etheridge and a paternity test is equally wrong.”The National Enquirer wrote that it talked to a source who described Jolie as suspicious. “Angie wants closure on the issue, so she’s demanding Brad undergo a paternity test,” the source said. “But Brad says Angie is being paranoid.” If he doesn’t take a DNA test, she’ll supposedly “go straight to Melissa and demand answers.”

         The rumor started with Etheridge told Australia’s Studio 10 talk show last week she considered Pitt to be a sperm donor for her children. “Well, actually, [Brad Pitt] was such a good friend of mine. And we did consider it,” she said. “And yet, I looked and I saw how badly he wanted children and I thought, ‘I don’t want to share this with someone who really, badly wants children because my children don’t need another parent — they have two.'” She later chose singer David Crosby to father her two kids, Bailey and Beckett. Etheridge and Pitt did not remain close. They apparently had a falling out after Etheridge said Jolie’s choice to undergo a double mastectomy was “the most fearful choice you can make when confronting anything with cancer." The rock singer battled breast cancer in 2004. Jolie, who has the BRCA1 gene, wrote an op-ed for the New York Times in 2013 after she preemptively had her breasts removed.

Jesse James, the famous heavily-tattooed chopper builder, moved to Texas not too long ago and got into the business of building custom pistols and rifles as Jesse James Firearms Unlimited.This week James shared photos of a pair of Cisco 1911 pistols that he made for two famous friends, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, at his Austin workshop.James' 1911s weigh a little under three pounds and come with a combat hammer, fixed sights, and an ambidextrous thumb safety. The twin pistols come with custom engravings, with Pitt’s saying “Big Papa” and Jolie’s “Mama Knows Best” on the slides. Her weapon is a 9-millimeter and his is a .45. Pitt has been an outspoken supporter of gun rights in America as of late, recently commenting on his own gun ownership going back decades to getting a BB gun when he was barely in elementary school.“America is a country founded on guns,” Pitt told the Daily Mail. “It’s in our DNA. It’s very strange, but I feel better having a gun. I really do. I don’t feel safe, I don’t feel the house is completely safe, if I don’t have one hidden somewhere.” His wife has echoed his sentiments as well, stating that she had no problem defending their family and home with a firearm. The two were wed in 2014 and they have several children together.
