Those on the set of the movie tell PEOPLE that Jolie and Pitt seemed distant and unhappy.“They hardly spoke when they were together,” a set source tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story, adding that they often took separate business trips on the weekends.Jolie and Pitt rented three villas for themselves, the kids and eight nannies, the source says. Due to their celebrity status, the family lived mostly in isolation while filming. The kids played in the pool, but “they couldn’t go anywhere on the island because of who they are,” says the source. Their oldest son, Maddox, 15, pitched in as a production assistant and was “a really nice guy,” the source says.When they weren’t filming, Jolie and Pitt “were quite distant” with each other, adds the source.During his off-time, a downbeat Pitt would go to a local bar for a light beer, never more than two.“He would be very quiet and just keep to himself,” says an onlooker. “Angelina was never with him.” Says the set source: “It was not a honeymoon.”

Actress Angelina Jolie, who filed for divorce from Brad Pitt last month, is reportedly eager to remove all tattoos related to him.According to a source, Jolie wants to remove all the inklings she has related to Pitt "as soon as possible" and wants to "erase any negativity" surrounding her, reports aceshowbiz.com."Angie's tattoos are very symbolic for her. Sadly, not for the first time in her life, she's thinking of having the procedure reversed," the source told OK! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going through private divorce negotiations just ten days after she filed for divorce after two years of marriage.The estranged couple are trying to come up with an agreement behind closed doors, which includes custody arrangements for Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and 8-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, People reports.In her divorce papers, Angelina requested joint legal custody but primary physical custody. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have struck a deal—albeit temporarily. On the heels of the actress' divorce filing, the two stars have been trying to settle on custody arrangements of their six children out of court. While Jolie had initially requested that Pitt be granted visitation, she asked for full physical custody of Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Viviennne. As of Friday, per a temporary agreement, a source tells E! News Jolie has temporary sole custody of their children while Pitt has visitation rights. According to a source familiar with the voluntary agreement, both parents have agreed to participate in individual counseling and Pitt's initial visit with his children will be with a therapist, though nothing has been mandated for supervision or monitoring. However, a second source tells us that a therapist will be present for any and all visits until Oct. 20. The actor has also volunteered to complete drug and alcohol testing, but was not required. Since the estranged couple has not agreed to a permanent legal or physical custody arrangement for their children thus far, this temporary plan will be upheld until Oct. 20. This news comes just a week after reports surfaced of an inquiry conducted by DCFS into allegations that Brad was involved in an incident with a child aboard a private plane earlier this month. Since the divorce filing, E! News learned the actor has not seen any of his kids. "He really wants to see the kids and to work out an arrangement that is best for them," an insider previously told us. "[He] wants to work things out privately and amicably."Meanwhile, E! also learned that Jolie doesn't intend for the custody situation to remain permanent. Rather, she believes it's what's necessary right now and knows she and Pitt will need to co-parent together in the future for the sake of their children. On Friday, a source reiterated that her primary focus is the wellbeing of her children.

The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed that they aren’t currently investigating Brad Pitt for allegations of child abuse.“LAPD is not handling any report or allegations into child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt,” the LAPD said in a statement to Us Weekly.Previous reports indicated that Brad was being investigated by not only the Los Angeles Police Department, but also the L.A.
