After visiting a local orphanage during her family’s trip to Thailand, reality TV star Kim Kardashian seems to have developed the adoption bug.The trip, which has been edited and dramatized for fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, features both Kardashians and Jenners.“I’m really impressed with how happy these kids are with you know, so little of what they have,” Kim said after meeting some of the kids at the orphanage. “I grew up with such a strong family bond and connection, it make me so sad that these kids don’t have that family element.”During the Kardashian clan’s visit, Kim made a special connection with one of the orphans named Pink. In fact, the connection was so strong that she wanted to adopt the young girl.“She is so sweet, I like literally want to take her home with me,” Kim said.“‘Honey, I would like literally adopt her,’” Kim said she told Kanye when speaking to him on the phone about her experience.Unfortunately, adoption would not be a possibility on this trip. The manager at the Kardashians’ hotel told Kim that the Thai government does not want foreigners to adopt Thai children and take them out of the country.Kim, who has one biological child, wouldn’t be the first star to adopt. Actress Angelina Jolie has three adopted children and three biological children with life partner Brad Pitt.

I wonder how Kate Middleton reacts when she is forbidden to do something. My guess is that it’s not a pretty sight. Apparently The Duchess of Cambridge was excited to learn that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be in Malta at the same time as her own scheduled solo trip in September. Kate thought that this was the perfect opportunity to try and set up a meeting. It’s not everyday that she has the chance to meet Hollywood’s most elite stars and she appreciates Angie’s charity work.According to the Aug. 11th print edition of GLOBE Magazine Prince William absolutely forbid Kate from even attempting to set up a royal meeting. When the couple visited LA back in 2011 Brad and Angie snubbed their invite and Wills isn’t excited to extend another one. Plus he believes that Angie is now bad for Kate’s image. She has become a mother and will likely be seated on the throne beside William fairly soon. Angie’s hard partying, promiscuous past is not something that he wants his wife to be affiliated with even years later.Sources say that Kate is extremely strong willed and doesn’t handle being bossed around very well. If she really wants to meet Angie then she’ll be inclined to set up a meeting on her own without the help of going through royal channels. Emma Watson is set to follow in Angelina Jolie’s footsteps, after securing a role with the UN.The ‘Harry Potter’ actress has been appointed as the United Nation’s Women’s Goodwill Ambassador.Emma’s new role will see her work to promote and encourage gender equality and the empowerment of women.In a statement, the Hollywood star, who recently graduated from the prestigious Brown University in the US, shared her delight at securing the post."Women's rights are something so inextricably linked with who I am, so deeply personal and rooted in my life that I can't imagine an opportunity more exciting," she said."I still have so much to learn, but as I progress I hope to bring more of my individual knowledge, experience and awareness to this role." Shia ran into trouble while at a production of Cabaret in New York City last month, resulting in him being arrested for disorderly conduct. His representative later confirmed he is getting treatment for alcohol addiction, although he hasn't checked into rehab.Brad and Shia got to know each other while they were shooting upcoming movie Fury, and the older actor has apparently reached out to the troubled star."Brad and Angelina admire anyone who works to turn their life around, so they wanted to offer Shia a helping hand. They understand how hard it can be to kick demons," an insider told the American edition of OK! magazine.Angelina has been open about her struggles with substances in the past, admitting her early 20s were a difficult time. There were claims Shia pulled out his own tooth during shooting and also stopped washing so he could get into character. 50 Cent has proved he has a good sense of humor, and showed off his acting abilities spoofing Angelina Jolie's new film Maleficent.There is some dispute on whether Angelina Jolie was the right choice for the role of Maleficent, after receiving some very stiff competition from 50 Cent on Thursday night. The rapper spoofed Jolie's film on Jimmy Kimmel Live when he came out as "Malefiftycent."50 Cent showed off his best assets, and a few new ones — in the form of the Disney character's signature horns. He also used his own life experiences to show what he could bring to the character."I've been shot nine times — I'm not afraid of no little white girl," he said at one point, referring to his infamous shooting years ago.He also had a few other select lines that fit with the movie, including, "This s*** just got magical" and "Get witch or die tryin'."Although Jolie personifies Maleficent perfectly in the video, 50 Cent definitely gave her a run for her money, thanks to Jimmy Kimmel. The rapper showed his softer side, and that he definitely has a sense of humor when he wants to. During his interview with Kimmel, he also opened up about his wayward pitch during last week's Mets game.The ball was sent far to the left of home plate, but 50 Cent laughed that one off as well."The worst part was watching the catcher's face," he explained."One thing you don't have at the house is a pitcher's mound," Kimmel replied, although 50's mansion does have pretty much everything else, including a nightclub.
