Summer is usually reserved for testing out lighter, brighter hair colors, but Ariel Winter is breaking the mold. Over the weekend the 18-year-old said goodbye to her fiery red hair color and hello to a deep black shade.Winter uploaded a selfie to Instagram to show off her updated look, and fans instantly fell in love with the onyx shade. Some commenters said that her hair makeover made her look like a young Angelina Jolie, while others thought she looked like Kylie Jenner. Winter explained her new look by keeping the caption short and sweet writing, “Back to black.” The talented crew at Nine Zero One Salon helped the Modern Family actress return to her signature dark look, while maintaining her hair’s health. In the image you can see that the fresh shade is far from dull, and her long, thick strands look just as vibrant as her previous red-hot color.Last March, Winter dyed her hair the fiery red hue for her upcoming role in Dog Years. In the film, Winter plays an edgy young lady who is the driver for an aging actor played by Burt Reynolds. The movie role required quite a transformation for Winter. Not only did she change her hair, but she also added several tattoos and a septum piercing to her look.This isn’t the first time that the recent high school grad has dabbled in unexpected beauty looks. A little over a year ago, Winter rocked silvery blue highlights on the red carpet, and she has also played in bright colors like platinum blonde. The X Factor’s Nicole Scherzinger was one of the draws as the ITV show’s hunt for the next singing star of tomorrow moved to London. It was hard to miss the former Pussycat Doll who turned up to Wembley Arena for the six chair challenge in a bright orange gown which showed a good deal of arm and leg.The singer even hit the red carpet in a similar manner to Angelina’s infamous ‘right leg out’ pose at the Oscars in 2012.There were some familiar faces alongside Nicole, but also a new one.Former contestant Rylan Clark-Neal is returning to the show that made him famous as a co-host of ITV2′s The Xtra Factor. He will present the TV series alongside recently announced Radio 1 DJ and television host Matt Edmondson.Rylan was a finalist on the popular reality TV singing show in 2012. Now a presenter of Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Rylan famously sobbed on TV when he was selected for the live shows by Nicole.

Ever want a new friend who seems like your polar opposite? Well, apparently so does the Duchess of Cambridge. Supposedly, Kate Middleton desperately wants Angelina Jolie to be her new BFF, complete with playdates for their kids.This news -- which comes from OK! magazine -- seems a little far-fetched, doesn't it? You'd think Kate's schedule is already pretty full, what with royal commitments and two little ones at home. But if reports are to be believed, Kate is craving a bit of the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle Angie represents.So, where did it all start? In June of 2015, Kate and Prince William hosted Hollywood's version of royalty, Angelina and her husband Brad Pitt, at Kensington Palace. The couples reportedly bonded over their mutual concern for the illegal wildlife trade. (Isn't that what you discuss on double dates??) Since that time, Kate has supposedly been trying to get Angie and her brood to visit Amner Hall for a playdate with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Again, that sounds odd considering Angie's youngest, Knox and Vivienne, are almost 8 years old and little George isn't even 3! But still, Angie has to be way more interesting than some of the others mums you'd be chatting with for hours on a playdate!Sure, there's plenty to admire about the mom of six. She's a die-hard human rights activist. She's a writer, filmmaker, and an extraordinary actress, but this seems like an odd pairing.Still, who doesn't want that friend who's just a bit different and can introduce you to a whole other side of life that you may feel is missing from your own?Though it always looks like Kate's having a blast whether she's visiting a school, a hospital, or the Taj Mahal, perhaps deep down she's longing for for a change of pace she thinks being pals with Angie can provide.It'll be interesting to see if a new friendship blossoms and if we find the duchess sporting some ink peeking out of those Jenny Packham frocks! The gorgeous Amy Jackson will be seen in a kickass avatar in superstar Rajnikanth's sequel of Enthiran titled Robot 2.O.The British beauty will be seen in a super toned avatar for the film.Actress Amy Jackson has adopted Hollywood star Angelina Jolie’s workout regime and diet plan to prepare for the action sequences in superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil actioner “2.0″.The actress says she enjoys doing action and hopes the preparation will allow her to perform better in the film. ”I’m always willing to try new things… I enjoy doing action and hopefully all the preparation will allow me to perform the stunts better,” Amy said in a statement.Amy, who is a fan of Jolie, will be adopting her workout regime and diet plan to prepare herself for the action to come. The actress will be on a strict disciplined diet and a hard-core anaerobic training regime, that includes high intensity squats, lunges, crunches, mountain climbers, planks, oblique twists, wood choppers among others. Her diet will include 70 per cent carbs and 30 per cent protein so that she can put on muscle without losing weight.The actress will completely clean out the junk from her diet and will focus her energy on achieving a strong, toned body which allows her to work through the action scenes with ease and look the part. Also starring Akshay Kumar and Sudhanshu Pandey, “2.0″ is the sequel to 2010 Tamil blockbuster “Enthiran”.Slated to release next year, the film features Rajinikanth as scientist Vaseegaran, and Akshay plays the main antagonist. Alicia Vikander will step into Angelina Jolie's boots in the 'Tomb Raider' reboot

Ready your sidearms, Academy Award-winning actress Alicia Vikander has been tapped to play Lara Croft in the upcoming "Tomb Raider" movie.This new "Tomb Raider," from MGM, Warner Bros. and GK Films, will tell the story of a young Croft setting off on her first adventure. Yep, folks, it's another origin story. The original "Tomb Raider" video game was released in 1996. It introduced the world to Croft, the dual gun-wielding English archaeologist whose action-filled adventures involve exploring hazardous ancient tombs. The first game was published by Eidos Interactive, which is now part of Square Enix. The video game series was rebooted in 2013 and the most recent installment is "Rise of the Tomb Raider," which was initially released in 2015 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Croft made her big-screen debut in 2001 in Paramount's "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider," where she was played by Angelina Jolie. The film, along with its 2003 sequel, "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life," grossed a combined $431.2 million worldwide. Vikander had a busy 2015. In addition to her Oscar-winning turn as Gerda Wegener in "The Danish Girl," her portrayal of Ava in "Ex Machina" earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Vikander also appeared in "Testament of Youth," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "Burnt" last year. Her upcoming projects include "The Light Between Oceans," "Jason Bourne" and "Submerge." And now she will rocket up the sides of a pyramid and shoot ancient artifacts in the face as Lara Croft. "The Wave's" Roar Uthuag will direct this new "Tomb Raider," with Graham King attached to produce. MGM and Warner Bros. are co-producing the film, with MGM overseeing production.
