Angelina Jolie is reportedly looking to sell her historic Los Angeles home and move abroad. The Maria actress, 50, is set to become the latest star to leave Hollywood and is 'eyeing several locations abroad' according to People. The mom-of-six wants to 'put the house up for sale' and move when her youngest kids, twins Knox and Vivienne, turn 18 next year. She shares the twins as well as Maddox, 24, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, and Shiloh, 19, with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 61. The Oscar winner 'never wanted to live in L.A. full time' but she 'didn't have a choice because of the custody arrangement with Brad,' a source told the publication. The exes reached a settlement in their ugly divorce in December 2024 after an eight-year legal battle.'She'll be very happy when she's able to leave Los Angeles,' the insider added. DailyMail.com has reached out to Jolie's representatives for comment. The insider went on to say that Jolie's estate is 'a historic masterpiece.'The actress is reportedly looking to make some minor improvements before putting the home on the market. The historic estate, once owned by iconic Hollywood director Cecil B. DeMille, was purchased by Angelina in 2017 for a cool $24.5 million. It boasts six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and comes complete with stunning architecture, world-class gardens, an on-site library and much more. As well as huge gardens with a swimming pool, the property is surrounded with lush greenery and retro chic arched fountains.A tea house looks out onto the swimming pool, and there's also a fitness room in the pool house. She bought the home just eight-months after her split from Pitt. The property's rich Hollywood history began in 1916 when it was purchased by DeMille for less than $28,000. He went on to expand the estate by buying the neighboring home, which had been owned by screen legend Charlie Chaplin, and merging the two properties. Jolie previously opened up about her desire to leave Los Angeles in 2024, but said she had to remain in California until her and Pitt's six children all turn 18.'I grew up in this town [Los Angeles]. I am here because I have to be here from a divorce, but as soon as they're 18, I'll be able to leave,' she told The Hollywood Reporter.
She continued: 'When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety. I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.' After her youngest two children become legal adults, Jolie said she plans on spending 'a lot of time in Cambodia' and visiting her 'family members wherever they may be in the world.'Jolie will join a number of other Hollywood stars who've left Los Angeles in recent years, including Natalie Portman, Mark Wahlberg, Eva Longoria, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Sophie Turner as well as Rosie O'Donnell among others. Earlier this month it was reported that Jolie is having a tough time with daughter Shiloh's next chapter, as the 19-year-old has flown the nest with her rumored love interest, dancer Keoni Rose.Sources told the Daily Mail that Shiloh, who recently dropped her famous dad's last name amid their estrangement, has 'temporarily moved in' with Keoni for the summer.Exclusive photos obtained by the Daily Mail confirmed the move, showing the rumored couple hugging outside their shared Los Angeles condo. The reported move also comes after cops arrested a trespasser in Jolie's Los Angeles neighborhood. In July law enforcement detained an individual who entered the Los Feliz enclave by slipping through a gate.It happened shortly after Jolie's ex-husband Pitt's home was broken into while he was in Tokyo. The actor's neighbors have suggested security at the mansion may have been compromised in the days leading up to the dramatic break-in.Pitt and Jolie's romance began in the early 2000s, and they tied the knot in 2014 at their château in the South of France. But by 2016, their union was over in dramatic fashion, with a now-infamous private plane incident involving an alleged physical altercation. The bitter divorce was not finalized until late 2024, and his fractured relationship with their six children remains unresolved.

Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight revealed he first found out about his daughter’s double mastectomy by reading her article about the decision in the New York Times.Voight, who was reconciled with his daughter in 2011 after a ten-year feud, said he was “surprised as anyone and deeply moved by the way she’s handled this”.“My love and admiration for my daughter can’t be explained in words. I saw her two days ago with my son Jamie. We all got together for his birthday with her and Brad [Pitt]. But I didn’t know. It wasn’t obvious at all,” the veteran actor told the New York Daily News.Voight said he “absolutely” respected Jolie’s decision to keep him in the dark for three months, adding “I want the focus to be on the inspiration.”He said he spoke to his daughter after learning about the procedure but didn’t discuss the global reaction to her announcement. “She just explained to me and educated me on this stuff,” he said.Jolie revealed in an op-ed article entitled "My Medical Choice" that she decided to undergo a double mastectomy after a gene test revealed she had an 87 per cent chance of developing breast cancer, the disease that killed her mother. The actress said she had completed three months of medical procedures by the end of April, which she had so far managed to keep out of the public eye.Jolie's own mother died of breast cancer aged 56 and Jolie found that she herself had the 'faulty' BRCA1 gene, which increased her chances of getting the disease to 87 per cent, and of getting ovarian cancer to 50 per cent.
Pitt called her decision to undergo a double mastectomy “absolutely heroic”. He added: “All I want for is for her to have a long and healthy life, with myself and our children. This is a happy day for our family.”The 37-year-old Tomb Raider actress and humanitarian activist said the reason behind her decision was to reassure her children - of which she has three biological and three adopted - that the illness that took their grandmother would not do the same to her.In the article, she wrote: ”I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer. It is reassuring that they see nothing that makes them uncomfortable.“They can see my small scars and that’s it. Everything else is just Mommy, the same as she always was.“She also thanked Pitt, describing him as ”so loving and supportive“.Following her surgery, which involved breast reconstruction with implants, the actress' chance of developing the cancer has dropped to under 5 per cent. She says her decision to write about her experience came from wanting to reassure other women that they ”have options“.”I choose not to keep my story private because there are many women who do not know that they might be living under the shadow of cancer,“ she said.

Cops arrested a trespasser in a Los Angeles neighborhood that's home to A-listers including Angelina Jolie. On Sunday law enforcement detained an individual who entered the Los Feliz enclave by slipping through a gate. The unwelcome visitor had made it onto the street where Kristen Bell and husband Dax Shepard live when police caught up with him, according to TMZ.It was noted that the actress and actor were not home at the time. Insiders said that both security and residents called the police on the 'known' suspect, who tried to make a run for it before he was arrested. Footage shared on the public safety app Citizen showed officers on the scene, with the male trespasser briefly seen. The accused person reportedly did not break into any of the neighborhood's mansions, one of which belongs to actress Brie Larson. It comes shortly after Jolie's ex-husband Brad Pitt's home was broken into while he was in Tokyo. His neighbors have suggested security at the mansion may have been compromised in the days leading up to the dramatic break-in.They claim they had not seen an unmarked private patrol car normally stationed right outside the actor's driveway for several days before the raid.Pitt's home in Los Feliz was ransacked during a late-night burglary on June 25 while the 61-year-old star was overseas promoting his new film, F1: The Movie. It was the latest in a string of burglaries plaguing upscale neighborhoods across LA and Southern California, where celebrities have increasingly been hit.Locals told the Daily Mail the 24-hour security car had been a constant presence since Pitt bought the 2,100 sq ft home from an oil haires in March 2023 — just a ten-minute walk from ex-wife Angelina's $25 million estate. But in the days before the break-in, the neighbor said they could not see the vehicle — or the guard inside it — leading them to speculate about laxer security measures. 'Ever since Mr Pitt moved in two years ago there was always a security car in the street, day and night,' said one neighbor, whose home overlooks Pitt's. 'It suddenly disappeared a few days before the burglary but we have no idea why.'By June 30, the regular security detail had returned, with a male guard seen sitting in a small black car outside the property — though he declined to speak to the Daily Mail.It appeared security had been bolstered, with a second vehicle, a black Prius, also parked at the top of Pitt's steep driveway.Earlier that day, neighbors spotted workmen from a glass installation company arriving at the house, believed to be replacing a window smashed by the intruders during the break-in.
