         Brad Pitt is 'missing his kids' over the holidays and feels Christmas 'won't be the same' if he cannot have any time with them, amid his legal battle with their mother Angelina Jolie.The former couple share three biological children - Shiloh, 18, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 16 - as well as their adopted children Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, and Zahara, 19. 'Brangelina' went public as a couple in 2006 and married in 2014 before splitting in 2016, triggering a bitter feud in the courts over property and child custody. Pitt is said to be estranged from his children, a number of whom have legally dropped his surname, most recently Shiloh after she turned 18 this May. Pax was then involved in a motorcycle accident in July and Pitt was reportedly unable to even visit him in the hospital. Now, with Pitt's 61st birthday approaching on December 18 and Christmas arriving shortly thereafter, he is said to be feeling the sting of the separation especially acutely. 'Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month,' a source informed Page Six. He is currently two years into a romance with jewelry executive Ines De Ramon, 31, who was previously married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. Pitt is said to be 'thankful he has an amazing partner,' whom the source described as 'supportive,' adding that 'Brad is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her.' In May of this year, when Shiloh filed to give up the last name Pitt, an insider had shared: 'Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him.' Last month, Jolie walked the Governors Awards red carpet with Knox on her arm - in a move that a source said Pitt felt was calculated to 'push his buttons' just days after a judge ruled that their legal dispute over their French winery will go to trial. Pitt, 60, and Jolie, 49, infamously fell in love during the making of their 2005 movie Mr. And Mrs. Smith while he was still married to his first wife Jennifer Aniston.
         Jolie staunchly insisted that they never engaged in an illicit affair, but only struck up their relationship once Pitt separated from Aniston. Fans around the world began siding with 'Team Jolie' or 'Team Aniston,' as a furor raged over the love triangle with Pitt at its center. Jolie filed for divorce against Pitt in September 2016, after a mysterious dispute on a private plane in the presence of their son Maddox, now 23. Early in the proceedings, the FBI looked into allegations that Brad became 'physical' with Maddox on the jet, but the investigation was closed with no charges filed. Jolie allegedly filed a Freedom Of Information Act request as 'Jane Doe' in 2021 related to the FBI documents about the fateful 2016 plane ride. She is said to have dropped her action against the FBI on September 25 this year, according to legal papers obtained by In Touch magazine. However, in court documents she filed this April in legal dispute over property, Jolie accused Pitt of having been abusive to her 'well before' the plane ride. Amid the collapse of their marriage, Pitt and Jolie plunged into a rancorous custody battle over their six children, four of whom are now adults. Pax suffered a terrifying accident in July of this year when he crashed his dirt bike into a car in Los Angeles while not wearing a helmet. Sources informed DailyMail.com that Jolie was 'by his side in hospital,' while 'Brad is distraught and worried over Pax's accident, but he is unable to reach him.' The accident came four years after Pax unleashed an explosive social media rant calling his father a 'world class a**hole' and a 'terrible and despicable person' who had caused his four younger children to 'tremble in fear.' Jolie and Pitt are also still engaged in a legal conflict over the Chateau Miraval, the winery they shared as a couple in the South Of France. The feud over the property stems from the fact Angelina sold her half to Russian billionaire Yuri Shefler for $62 million in 2021, amid her divorce proceedings. Pitt sued her over the sale, insisting that she was contractually obligated to obtain his consent before offloading her portion of the Chateau Miraval. She has asked Pitt to 'end the fighting' and drop the winery lawsuit against her so that their family can have a chance to 'heal.' However sources told DailyMail.com that Pitt has 'no intention' of dropping the , claiming that Angelina only asked him to do so after she discovered that her case is weaker than she initially anticipated. 'Brad is not going to drop this lawsuit – why would he? This was a very standard business dispute but unfortunately, Angelina has consistently introduced personal elements that are meant for a divorce court,' an insider said.           Brad Pitt feels completely helpless his son is still refusing to have any contact with him as he recovers from his terrifying bike crash with mom, Angelina Jolie, by his side. Pax Jolie-Pitt was released from ICU on the weekend after being treated for crashing his electric bike into the back of a car stopped for a red light on Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles on July 29. A new witness to the crash has revealed horrifying details about the 'complex trauma' the 20-year-old suffered, and confirmed he wasn't wearing a helmet. Lola Cavalli, who applied first aid to Pax at the scene, told Entertainment Tonight he was bleeding from the head. 'And it was not a lot of blood. Like, you didn't see like a fountain of blood rushing out.[But] his mouth was filled with blood. When [he] was trying to speak, I saw a little tiny stream of blood coming out of the mouth.' He now begins the long road of recovery and physical therapy - and mom Angelina Jolie, 49, has been there every step of the way.  According to sources, Pax 'doesn't want any well wishes' from his  'distraught dad' Brad, 60, even though the 'heartbroken' Hollywood actor is determined to help out in any way possible. An insider exclusively told DailyMail.com that Brad also wishes his family dynamic wasn't divided and that he wasn't getting 'radio silence' about his son's health. They said: 'Don't expect Pax's accident to bring the family dynamic back in any way as Pax is 100% on Angie's side and doesn't want any well wishes or remorse from Brad. 'Brad is upset that Pax got hurt and would love to help out in any way possible during his recovery, but it doesn't seem to be something that will ever happen since there is a forever disconnect and divide between them all. 'It is gutting Brad that it has got to this point that he can't even be a worried dad, as all he is getting is radio silence from finding out exactly what is going down with his son. 'It is just another distressed circumstance that is part of Brad's normal life.'He wishes that everyone could be above it all since this situation involves people's lives, but emotions as they are between Pax, Angie and Brad are so bad that there will never be a time where it gets to a place where things are OK.' The source added: 'Brad doesn't know what to do because there is nothing he can do or is allowed to do, it is heartbreaking.'
          But another insider claimed Brad hadn't taken any steps to see Pax. They said: 'Brad has not tried to see Pax. He has made no effort to do so. Angelina has raised these kids a single mom for the last eight years. They love their mother. 'All Angelina wants is peace, but he is determined to continue fighting her and blaming everyone but himself for the situation he's now in.' Last week, Brad was said to be 'distraught' that he had been unable to speak to his estranged son following his accident. 'A father's inclination would be to go to the hospital, or to call him. He's tried so many times but the kids won't take his calls. His hands are tied. 'Brad doesn't think that Pax should be driving a scooter without a helmet to begin with - he should have been in a car.' Oscar winning actress Angelina has been by her son's side since he was hospitalized.Another witness said they discovered him lying lifeless on the ground and he only regained consciousness once paramedics arrived. Pax, like several of his other siblings, is estranged from his famous father. In 2020, the youngster called his father a 'world class a**hole' who makes his four youngest children 'tremble in fear' in an explosive Instagram rant posted for Father's Day. Angelina adopted Pax from an orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, in 2007. He was three years old and had been dumped as a newborn by his heroin-addicted biological mother. Brad formally adopted him the following year.
