Angelina Jolie bought a touch of Hollywood glamour to a LA mall on Sunday. The Maleficent star looked heaven sent as she was spotted in a Westfield shopping centre wearing a billowing white ensemble. She was joined by two of her six children, 12-year-old Pax and 11-year-old Zahara. The Unbroken director draped a cream shawl about her white dress such that it almost resembled a caftan. Nude ankle-strap flats accentuated the look. The 41-year-old pulled her hair into a flowing ponytail, accessorising her outfit with large black aviator sunglasses and a fard poudre Yves Saint Laurent Sac de Jour tote.In February, the Girl, Interrupted star and her husband Brad Pitt began renting a £14,700-a-month pad in Surrey. The sprawling eight-bedroom property was meant to house the family for only six months, whilst the 51-year-old filmed the sequel to World War Z.Yet in the intervening time, rumours abounded that Jolie was mulling the possibility of settling permanently in Britain to focus on politics. Whether those plans are still in the offing, or have been scuttled, remains uncomfirmed.Pax and Zahara are a third of the Lara Croft: Tomb Rader actress' progeny. Though Pax is older, Zahara had been adopted earlier when Jolie plucked her from Addis Ababa during her infancy in 2005. By the following year, Pitt obtained joint legal custody of Zahara, as well as Jolie's previously adopted son Maddox. After the first biological Jolie-Pitt child, Shiloh, was born in 2006, the Changeling actress developed a yen for another adoption. In 2007, she took in the then three-year-old Pax from Ho Chi Minh City. On paper, she underwent the process solo, Vietnamese law not permitting her and the Inglourious Basterds star to adopt out of wedlock. In 2008, Jolie gave birth to her and the 51-year-old's biological twins, Knox and Vivienne, in Nice.Four years later, having amassed a total of six children, the Mr & Mrs Smith co-stars married in the chapel of their Château Miraval in the south of France.

She is a woman of extremes, who can be seen either visiting refugees camps as part of her duty as Goodwill Ambassador For The UN Refugee Agency or hitting the red carpet for dazzling movie premieres in Hollywood. But on Sunday Angelina Jolie acted like a regular Jane as she took three of her children - Zahara, 11, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne, aged eight - on a shopping trip to the Westfield mall in the Topanga neighborhood of Los Angeles. The 41-year-old Oscar winner skipped regular mall attire, however, for a more glammed up mom look with a black dress, gold-rimmed aviators and designer purse. The four were seen with a nanny and a bodyguard as they strolled through the mall relatively unnoticed. They stopped at the Apple store - Jolie held onto a white bag from the shop - and it appeared as if they visited a few other stores as well as their bodyguard and nanny held shopping bags in their hands. The family looked as normal as can be as they walked past Kiehl's and Nordstrom.Jolie appeared sophisticated for her outing with a long black dress that hid her covergirl curves.Beige flat shoes looked nondescript but her matching beige purse appeared as if it could be from French luxury house Hermes. The wife of Brad Pitt added slick aviators and delicate earrings as well as a diamond wedding band from her Mr And Mrs Smith and By The Sea co-star. All three children were dressed down for the occasion.
Vivienne, who appears to have long blonde locks now, wore a pink tank top with an elephant on the front and light grey leggings with flip flops. She held onto a stuffed animal that looked well loved. Vivienne was holding her mother's hand for much of the trip.Knox had on a white T-shirt with a pirate drawn on the front and the words 'Arghhhhh' as well as black shorts, socks and sneakers.Zahara was the most understated in a dark grey shirt, black leggings and coral colored flip flops. The couple also has sons Maddox and Pax as well as daughter Shiloh. This sighting comes after Angelina and Brad were seen taking their twins to breakfast at The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood to celebrate turning right years old.Jolie and Pitt tried to fly under the radar with their sunglasses on and it appeared as if they were not recognized as other restaurant goers didn't turn their heads when they left. According to TMZ, Knox ordered pancakes with Oreos and powdered sugar on top. Knox and Vivienne are the second and third of the couple's biological children, with their elder sister Shiloh being born in May 2006.The couple have six youngsters in total when their adopted children are included.Angelina gave birth to Knox Léon, and Vivienne Marcheline on July 12 2008 at La Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, France via Cesarean section. The first pictures of the twins were sold to People in the US and Hello in the UK for a reported $14 million, making them the most expensive celebrity photographs ever taken. However the big-hearted couple were not cashing in to line their own pockets, as all proceeds were donated to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.Jolie, who last directed Pitt in the drama By The Sea, has just finished shooting First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers. She has also provided a voice for Kung Fu Panda 3, and the daughter of Jon Voight will next star is the Disney sequel Maleficent 2.

The Cambodian family 'adopted' by Angelina Jolie who are now learning English and going to school, as star funds their education

Angelina Jolie's big heart extends to her own youngsters, who have helped their famous mom to 'adopt' a family of Cambodian children and put them through private school. The charity-minded actress was struck by the friendship her children built up with Leida Shoun, 16, and her siblings, after they met in Cambodia - where the star has been shooting her latest directorial effort First They Killed My Father.Angelina's children were first approached by the young Cambodians when they were asking tourists for dollars in their hometown of Siem Reap.Brad Pitt offered to buy them ice cream, but over the course of a few weeks last year, Angelina’s daughters Shiloh, nine, and Zahara, 11, showed their own charitable side to their Cambodian friends. They are 12 brothers and sisters, who are aged between 19 years old and 16 months, and they live in a shack with their parents in one of the city’s slums.Like many in the city, the family were living on food provided by charities and the government, but Angelina’s daughters helped them out.
Angelina's girls took the children for meals, bought them clothes and new bicycles while learning first-hand what life is like for some of the poorest people in the world. At the time Leida said she wasn’t going to class.'The school for me is too far away, I cannot walk there, so I do not go,' the 16-year-old told DailyMail.com.Every day at 6:45 in the morning, Leida and seven of her siblings who are of school age – including brothers and sisters Dyna, Ploy, Lan, Do and Darn - sport proud smiles as they catch the bus in pristine white and blue uniforms. The bus takes them to the school, where they have class five days a week until five o'clock and are given an afternoon meal. The children were enrolled in December and study hard. Soon it won’t just be Leida and six-year-old Ploy in the family who are able to speak English, as the school conducts lessons in both Khmer [the Cambodian language] and English.More importantly the children aren’t on the streets of Siem Reap until late at night, asking tourists for change.
A source who knows the family and used to help them out from time to time said: 'Going to school is the best thing that has happened to them. It gives them hope for the future and much more of a purpose in life, huge changes for them.'Leida has always been smart and had been picking up English, but as she’s 16 she has a lot of catching up to do with some of the other kids in her class, only because she’s not had the same access to education as they have.'All of them are really happy to be going to school and to be given this chance. Most of them are too young to appreciate fully what has happened, but Angelina and her family have already given them more than any cheque could – they’ve helped give them the means to learn and work and prosper for themselves.'Some close to the children worried about how they would integrate with the other children at the school, who typically come from more affluent backgrounds, but so far things have been going well and they have made lots of new Cambodian friends.Ploy told DailyMail.com: 'I like school, I am learning English. It is good for me.'A source at the school added: 'The Shouns are very good children. They have only just started at the school, but they are doing very well, especially considering they have not had the structure and discipline of being at school until now.'They are all very sharp, smart children and we are all sure they have a great future ahead of them.'
