Angelina Jolie is miserable because she believes men “consider her poison” following her split from Brad Pitt? That’s what one of the tabloids is reporting. Gossip Cop can set the record straight.“Angie Moans She Can’t Get A Guy!” reads a headline in the latest issue of the National Enquirer. According to the magazine, Jolie is telling pals she’s been painted as the bad guy in her divorce from Pitt, and now no man in Hollywood wants to go near her. “The guys in Hollywood tend to steer clear of women who could be seen as trouble later on,” a so-called “snitch” tells the outlet. “A lot of people think Angie is intimidating and mean-spirited after what she put Brad through.”aturally, the tabloid drags Jennifer Aniston into the picture, with the source claiming Jolie is “humiliated” by Pitt’s “romantic reunion” with his first wife. In reality, Pitt and Aniston haven’t rekindled a romance, as separate reps for both star have confirmed several times. Still, the questionable tipster adds, “She’s tired of seeing Brad find happiness when it’s been difficult for her to find anyone.” The seemingly phony source adds, “She’s moaned to everyone that she’s undateable. Her lifestyle and her global humanitarian responsibilities do make it difficult for her to maintain a relationship. But her personality doesn’t do her any favors, either.” Gossip Cop reached out to an individual in Jolie’s camp, who tells us there’s “no truth” to the tabloid’s story. The actress isn’t concerned with her love life at all. Jolie has been focused on work and raising her kids since her 2016 separation from Pitt.E! News, a much more reliable source for celebrity scoops than the Enquirer, has reported that Jolie’s “single world” involves shooting movies and spending time with her children. The actress has several projects on deck, including the Marvel movie Eternals. Jolie typically brings her kids on location with her, but when she’s not working, the actress is dedicated to her life as a single parent. Jolie isn’t “moaning” about her dating woes as they’re nonexistent and it’s not a pressing topic.Despite the Enquirer claiming “men” think she’s “poison,” it’s the magazine that’s been determined to paint Jolie as the villain in her divorce. A few weeks ago, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Jolie was preventing Pitt from seeing their kids by purposely creating scheduling conflicts. Shortly before that, the outlet said Jolie was telling Pitt that their kids “hate his guts.” It’s not all the male suitors in Hollywood that have an issue with Jolie – it’s the tabloid.

Angelina Jolie has said it's time the world steps in to help with the Syrian conflict as she reflects on the lack of action since her first visit to the border in 2011.The UN Special Envoy calls out politicians for failing to step in like other conflicts in the Middle East and questions when America stopped rooting for the 'underdog' as reflects on the hearbreaking things she's witnessed over the past 10 years. In a Time essay titled 'The Cost of Inaction in Syria is Too High', the actress says America helping other countries in the past has been 'for our own interests' and that stepping in after a purported 500,000 Syrians have perished, would be no different.'Afghanistan and Politicians often imply that we face a choice between open-ended military and diplomatic interventions of the kind we've seen in Iraq and Afghanistan, and leaving other countries to fend for themselves, sending whatever amount of humanitarian aid we're willing to supply, and sealing ourselves off,' Jolie writes, adding: 'Syria is proof that a lack of leadership and diplomacy has consequences.'She adds: 'History shows that when we fought for the liberation of Europe in World War II, or contributed to building the postwar global order, we did so for our own interests–and we reaped the benefits. When America was attacked on 9/11, many countries made common cause with us because we had earned their friendship.'Jolie – who has six children with ex-husband Brad Pitt – opened up about the devastating effects of the war in Syria after the Trump admins slashed the total number of refugees allowed into the country each year to a historic low of 30,000.As part of his Muslim ban refugees from 11 countries considered to be threats to US security, including Syria, admissions fell by 90 percent from 2017 to 2018, according to the International Refugee Assistance Project.Jolie recalled a 2011 trip to the Jordanian border where she heard about an eight-year-old boy who begged his family to bring his leg with him after they fled following an airstrike.'I hoped that stories like his might force the world's rich and mighty countries to intervene to stop the violence,' Jolie – who is thought to be worth $100million - opened up.But despite her 10 visits to draw attention to the crisis, 'years of pleas have gone unanswered'.
The US has refused to comment on it's approach to Syria but Mike Pompeo has previously said $95billion in donations makes the US the world's largest contributor to humanitarian assistance.Jolie admits that initially people in the country were hopeful her famous face would result in action and they begged her: 'Please, tell people what is happening to us'.But she says 'hope curdled into anger and the struggle for survival' due to the indifference the world has shown despite seeing images of 'children asphyxiated by gas, maimed by shrapnel, drowned on the shores of Europe or–as I write–freezing to death in the cold of Syria's Idlib province'.Jolie uses the example of one man who held his baby up to her and asked: 'Is this a terrorist? Is my son a terrorist?' The philanthropist has also met parents who have to make the choice between which child gets access to food or medicine while it is scarce.Reflecting on how innocent children have unfairly become victims of inaction she suggested politicians have been putting focus in the wrong places.'Far from healing Syria's wounds, the response of some external powers has been to inflict further injuries, bloodying their hands in the process,' she writes. 'Other countries have focused on the fight against terrorism or on the humanitarian relief effort, while the war itself has bled ever more fiercely.'As Special Envoy Jolie focuses on major crises that result in mass population displacements. She has helped contribute to finding solutions for people forced to flee their homes. In the March 2 issue of the magazine she adds: 'We're watching the brutal endgame of the war in Syria as if it has little to do with us. But it does.'We should be using our diplomatic power to insist on a cease-fire and a negotiated peace based on at least some measure of political participation, accountability and the conditions for the safe return of refugees.'

While there hasn't been any movement on the project in quite some time, Angelina Jolie's Bride of Frankenstein reboot is still in the mix at Universal Studios.Angelina Jolie has been attached to star for several years, and while there have been no developments of late, Variety reports the studio is still working on the project. The report reveals that producer Amy Pascal and The Quiet Place director/star John Krasinski have been 'quietly' exploring ways to reimagine the property. The original Bride of Frankenstein debuted in 1935, starring Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's monster, Colin Clive as Henry Frankenstein and Elsa Lanchester as the title character.Bride of Frankenstein is considered to be one of the greatest sequels of all time, with some even contending the sequel is better than the original. The original was not only a popular hit at the box office, grossing nearly twice its budget, it was recognized years later for its cultural significance. The film was selected in 1998 for preservation in the Library of Congress' National Film Registry, deemed, 'culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.'Universal has tried to reboot the film several times over the years, though none of their attempts lead to a finished film yet. Universal first brought on American Splendor writers Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman to write a Bride of Frankenstein remake early in the 21st Century.Nearly a decade later, Neil Burger (The Illusionist) was brought on to direct in 2019, with producer Brian Grazer overseeing the remake. The project remained stagnant for years until 2015 when David Koepp (Jurassic Park) was attached to write the script. It was then announced in May 2017 that a Bride of Frankenstein reboot would be part of Universal's now-defunct Dark Universe horror franchise.Jolie was attached as the Bride, with Javier Bardem as Frankenstein's monster, with Bill Condon set to direct. Now a new rendition is moving forward under a new studio mandate to create edgier and cost-efficient fare, which could mean Bride of Frankenstein may be happening sooner than you think.Producer Amy Pascal has brought back David Koepp to work on the script as well, but nothing official has been set by Universal at this time.
