"Angelina Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt love to take their children to visit a new place over the festive season.Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt don't like to spend Christmas in one place. The Hollywood couple raise six children together, Maddox, 11, Pax, nine, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, and when it comes to the festive holidays, they like to travel around the world instead of buying them expensive gifts. She said: ''I love to travel in the holidays, because I feel like I'd rather give the kids the gift of a new country than a box of presents. But I still give them some presents!''The family are known for their globe-trotting adventures but Angelina says she and Brad have a pact that only one of them will be away from the children at one time so they fit their work schedules around that. She added: ''I have a great partner in Brad and before we had all of our children, we agreed that in order to have a big family, we would never work at the same time.''When he is shooting a film, I am not filming and I'm home and I'm just focusing on the kids and on occasion I take trips and I do my UN work. Then when I'm working, he does the same, so I don't do all of these things all of the time.''

Even with a heavily parodied, smoldering Chanel ad, Brad Pitt still makes 49 look hot.Angelina Jolie's handsome hubby-to-be celebrates his 49th birthday today, and given that he has one stunning fiancé, an adorable brood of tykes and a bustling movie career, he definitely has a reason to celebrate. Take a look back at Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's romance. The charitable thesp made his way to the big 4-9 with an engagement, popping the question to the Oscar winner with a blingtastic ring this spring. And while the pair hasn't tied the knot just yet (and the world waits for that big day), Pitt has been successfully balancing family and work life, taking on projects like World War Z and Killing Them Softly, and even adding the title of furniture designer to his repertoire.Recently, Pitt talked about turning the big 5-0, telling Good Morning America, "I've given a lot of thought to it." "You become very aware of time and also, being a father, everything is time allocation for me now, making sure I spend my time wisely and doing the things that are important to me and spending the time I need to with my family." It seems like he's doing just that.

I am deeply honored to have the chance to tell his inspiring story.” The news was announced by Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson and co-chairman Donna Langley, and Walden Media CEO Michael Bostick. “In her life and in her work, Angelina has embraced stories and causes involving great struggle and triumph over tremendous odds and the basic human condition,” said Fogelson and Langley in a joint statement. “She has a real ability to illustrate the strength in human spirit which will be essential in telling Lou’s story of survival and great heroism.”The latest draft of the script was written by William Nicholson (Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Gladiator, Les Misérables), with an earlier draft having been written by Richard LaGravenese. "There are worse jobs," the "On the Road" star says of working alongside the actress/Earth mother. Sam Riley plays literary icon Sal Paradise in the big-screen adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road -- but in his upcoming film, Maleficent, the British actor portrays Angelina Jolie's "lackey.""I play a raven -- I'm Angelina's lackey, basically," the 32-year-old actor said Thursday at a Peggy Siegal Company-hosted NYC screening of On the Road. That's not a bad gig? "No, there are worse jobs," he told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that Jolie's make-up in the Disney Pictures' film is "insane" but "she's not Method. She's very nice. She took me under her wing, so to speak. We had a great time." Jolie, 37, portrays the iconic Sleeping Beauty villain in the live-action origins story, which began filming over the summer. Directed by Robert Stromberg, the movie -- slated for release in March 2014 -- also stars Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora and several members of the Jolie-Pitt brood: Pax, 9, Zahara, 7, and Vivienne, 4. Riley, who jokingly described his character Diaval as a "mird" (man-slash-bird), called Jolie "a consummate professional, so I admire that very much." Riley, meanwhile, will soon be seen in limited release Dec. 21 as Kerouac's alter ego in the Walter Salles-directed On the Road, co-starring Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst. Riley's other credits include 2007's Control, in which he portrayed Joy Division's Ian Curtis, and the Saoirse Ronan-starring vampire thriller Byzantium.
