I wonder how Kate Middleton reacts when she is forbidden to do something. My guess is that it’s not a pretty sight. Apparently The Duchess of Cambridge was excited to learn that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will be in Malta at the same time as her own scheduled solo trip in September. Kate thought that this was the perfect opportunity to try and set up a meeting. It’s not everyday that she has the chance to meet Hollywood’s most elite stars and she appreciates Angie’s charity work.According to the Aug. 11th print edition of GLOBE Magazine Prince William absolutely forbid Kate from even attempting to set up a royal meeting. When the couple visited LA back in 2011 Brad and Angie snubbed their invite and Wills isn’t excited to extend another one. Plus he believes that Angie is now bad for Kate’s image. She has become a mother and will likely be seated on the throne beside William fairly soon. Angie’s hard partying, promiscuous past is not something that he wants his wife to be affiliated with even years later.Sources say that Kate is extremely strong willed and doesn’t handle being bossed around very well. If she really wants to meet Angie then she’ll be inclined to set up a meeting on her own without the help of going through royal channels. Do you think that Kate will do as William has said and nix meeting a woman that she admires? Or will she go ahead and arrange something on the sly? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!

Jon Voight has accused Penelopé Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem of 'inciting anti-Semitism' after they signed an open letter condemning the Israeli government’s Palestinian 'genocide'.The couple, along with some of Spain’s biggest entertainment names, signed a group letter calling for a stronger response by the European Union to stop Israel's military operation – ‘Protective Edge’ – in the Gaza strip. It stated that Israel "humiliates, detains, and tramples on the rights of the Palestinian population in all of the West Bank every day, also causing many deaths" and destroying homes while "the international community does nothing".After receiving a barrage of criticism and being labelled an ‘anti-Semite’ for pledging their support, Cruz and Bardem issued a clarifying statement a day later, explaining that her "only wish and intention" in signing the group letter was to promote "peace in both Israel and Gaza".But Voight, the veteran actor and father of Angelina Jolie, is yet to have been appeased by their comments. The screen star, who is pro-Israel, decided to pen a strongly worded open letter of his own in response to the acting couple, published in full on Variety."My name is Jon Voight and I am more than angry," it begins. "I am heartsick that people like Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem could incite anti-Semitism all over the world and are oblivious to the damage they have caused.“They are obviously ignorant of the whole story of Israel’s birth, when in 1948 the Jewish people were offered by the UN a portion of the land originally set aside for them in 1921, and the Arab Palestinians were offered the other half. "The Arabs rejected the offer, and the Jews accepted, only to be attacked by five surrounding Arab countries committed to driving them into the sea."He goes on to claim that Israel, after years of being at war with the Palestinian people, gave them the Gaza strip as a gesture of peace."What was the response?" he writes. "The Palestinians elected Hamas, a terrorist organization, and they immediately began firing thousands of rockets into Israel."After years of trying to make peace, the wars they had to fight, being attacked by their enemies, and still being attacked, and finally after years of running into bomb shelters and having hundreds of civilians killed by suicide bombers, civilians being killed in their sleep, stabbed to pieces, finding enough is enough and finally retaliating, instead of my peers sticking up for the only democratic country in that region, they go and take out poison letters against them."
"You have forgotten how this war started. Did Hamas not kidnap and kill three young teenagers for the sake of killing, and celebrated after the killing? What a travesty of justice."He ends the piece by pleading for famous names in the entertainment industry to re-address their anti-IDF stances."I am asking all my peers who signed that poison letter against Israel to examine their motives. Can you take back the fire of anti-Semitism that is raging all over the world now?"You have been able to become famous and have all your monetary gains because you are in a democratic country: America. Do you think you would have been able to accomplish this in Iran, Syria, Lebanon, et cetera? "You had a great responsibility to use your celebrity for good. Instead, you have defamed the only democratic country of goodwill in the Middle East: Israel."You should hang your heads in shame," he concludes. "You should all come forth with deep regrets for what you did, and ask forgiveness from the suffering people in Israel."Cruz and Bardem are yet to respond to his letter.Voight isn’t the only famous person who has pledged their support for the IDF. Wonder Woman Gal Gadot stirred some controversy with this post, while Bill Maher shocked with this Twitter quip. Joan Rivers defended the Israeli government’s military offensive with this. Those who have declared their support for the Palestinian cause include Zayn Malik, Rihanna and Russell Brand.

After visiting a local orphanage during her family’s trip to Thailand, reality TV star Kim Kardashian seems to have developed the adoption bug.The trip, which has been edited and dramatized for fans of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, features both Kardashians and Jenners.“I’m really impressed with how happy these kids are with you know, so little of what they have,” Kim said after meeting some of the kids at the orphanage. “I grew up with such a strong family bond and connection, it make me so sad that these kids don’t have that family element.”During the Kardashian clan’s visit, Kim made a special connection with one of the orphans named Pink. In fact, the connection was so strong that she wanted to adopt the young girl.“She is so sweet, I like literally want to take her home with me,” Kim said.“‘Honey, I would like literally adopt her,’” Kim said she told Kanye when speaking to him on the phone about her experience.Unfortunately, adoption would not be a possibility on this trip. "I brought him the film on my laptop in the hospital, and it was amazing seeing someone at the end of their life watching their life unfold again, at the same time their body was shutting down," she says."He wanted me to make the movie to show something hopeful about the strength of the human spirit that can pull us through. He reminded me to have my surgery in the year that I did, and he reminded me to appreciate every day of my life."Jolie underwent a preventive double mastectomy in 2013, while she was preparing to direct Unbroken.Universal Pictures recently announced that the engaged couple will work on an "intimate, character-driven drama," By the Sea. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have paid the owners of a beach cafe in Europe thousands of dollars to close down for three months so they can shoot a film.Pitt and Jolie are filming new project By The Sea at Mgarr ix-Xini on the island of Gozo, and they need unfettered access to a tiny pebble beach to shoot their scenes. However, a beachside kiosk holds pride of place in the bay, so the millionaire stars have rented the entire cafe for the summer, reportedly paying owners Noel and Sandra Vella thousands of dollars in compensation for their lost profits.Sandra says, "I'm not going to make as much had I remained open throughout these months, but at least I'm getting some form of compensation."
