Angelina Jolie has been seen for the first time with her son Maddox on the set of her latest project, Stitches, in Paris on Wednesday. This comes the day after DailyMail.com reported that Maddox is working as the third assistant director on the movie. The Maleficent actress, 49 - who has been keeping busy by shooting the fashion drama in France - was seen stepping in front of the camera to film at a wig store and then later at a hospital courtyard. Jolie stayed warm in the chilly temperatures by donning a dark gray sweater as well as a pair of loose-fitting, gray trousers that were cuffed at the bottom. The star layered the outfit with a black, leather coat that was left unfastened at the front and slipped into a pair of heeled ankle boots. A large, black bag was placed over her right shoulder and she opted to add an assortment of rings on each of her hands for a flashy flare. Angelina's long locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down straight past her shoulders. The actress was spotted mingling with crew members as she stepped out of a wig store in Paris in between takes. Her eldest child, Maddox, was also seen strolling around the set sporting an all-black ensemble after recently being hired as the third assistant director for Stitches, DailyMail.com learned earlier this week. The premise follows an American filmmaker (Jolie) who is on a 'life and death journey as she arrives in Paris for Fashion Week,' according to the outlet. The beauty was first spotted shooting night scenes for Stitches earlier this month while outside of a bistro in the city - only days after breaking her toe. Jolie is no stranger to collaborating with her children on her own projects, and recently worked with Maddox and Pax on the biopic Maria - which officially dropped on Netflix on December 11. During a recent interview with The Sunday Times, the actress discussed her two kids helping out on the movie. 'They were able to consider the relationships in the film and the violence - things that sometimes you don't have the opportunity to discuss with your sons, so I felt fortunate.' And while previously speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in August, she further reflected on her kids having the chance to gain experience on set.'Mad and Pax were on this one. Doing AD [assistant directing] work. They've done that quite a few times, and I think that's good for them,' she stated.'Pax tends to do stills and he gets brought in, and [director] Pablo was wonderful and recognized that he was good at it.'Angelina also revealed the reason why she decided to step back in front of the camera - and explained that she didn't need to be home as much for her kids.'They're a bit older, getting more independent. I'm less needed and so able to go away for different periods of time.'She added, 'And they're old enough to join me at work. It's a new season in our lives. I'm very excited for them to be coming into their own more and more every day.'Filming for her latest movies comes shortly after Jolie ignited Oscars buzz for her performance as late opera singer, Maria Callas, in the Netflix biopic titled Maria.
