Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will NOT have elephants at their wedding, PETA has confirmed. In a statement to Page Six, the animal-rights organization said it would be "out of character" for the wildlife-loving couple to have the gentle giants grace their upcoming nuptials. The rumor mill buzzed last week after Lucille Michel, the couple's florist, told the UK's Grazia magazine that the Jolie-Pitt affair would be the Noah’s Arc of celeb weddings. She said in sensationalist detail that “guests will travel past water fountains and Shetland ponies leaping as they go up the two-mile long drive to the house…When the guests park, they'll see the family of elephants. Brad hopes it will make them smile.” “Apparently, the elephants were the children's idea," Michel said, adding that there would be eight elephants to represent each member of the Brangelina family. The rumors appear to have been put to bed as PETA writes, "It would be out of character for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt—a couple who clearly values family and has donated millions to safeguard land and wildlife in Africa—to have elephants at their wedding ceremony."They probably realize that elephants used as props at events and in other forms of entertainment are separated from their families, kept chained most of their lives, carted from town to town, and beaten in training so that they perform on cue. They know that sensitive, family-oriented animals deserve to live in peace.” Rumor has it that the superstars are set to tie the knot at their Chateau Miraval estate in the South of France at the end of May.

I'm totally okay with it, though, and definitely don't spend time thinking about it. It doesn't stop me enjoying my life."I also have the opposite of body dysmorphia where when I'm a bit chubby, I think I look kind of great. I'm like, 'Damn, you look good!' And everyone else is like, 'No, you're fat'."I'd like five kids. I want to adopt. How amazing are Brad and Angelina, though? I don't know how they do it, I have one kid and I'm exhausted. I don't do one-sixteenth of what that woman does." Pink, who has been married to Carey Hart since 2006, has also opened up about her marriage which has made the headlines in recent years with the couple temporarily splitting in 2008 and reuniting in 2010."I worry about everything. I'll say, 'We need to talk about the way you passed me the butter this morning because I feel like it's over between us',” she said. "It's not men's fault that they don't speak your language, it's just you have to figure out a way to get around it."Women pay more of a price emotionally. I watch Carey leave the house and he doesn't look back. He's a fantastic father but men deal with it differently."They don't take on guilt. When I'm gone for five minutes, I'm questioning everything. But how wonderful for a girl to grow up seeing her mother doing what she loves. So there are pros and cons."

Brad hopes it will make them smile. Apparently, the elephants were the children's idea.''They want the wedding to take place just before sunset, so that as they say their vows the church will fill with fabulous red, orange and yellow light. The lawns have all got new sprinkler systems in, so they'll be green and lush for the big day. Brad wants the guests to say, 'Wow' the moment they sweep through the gates.''The 'Moneyball' actor is taking a very hands on approach to the planning, and is particularly keen that his big plans for the grounds of the estate provide a legacy that will last for generations to come.Lucille explained to the new UK issue of Grazia magazine: ''Brad flew in two weeks ago and has given a team of eight gardeners very specific clean-up plans, along with planting instructions that he drew up himself ... Brad wants what they plant to help local wildlife for generations to come.''He's spending in the region of £30,000 on flowers and says they've decided no cut flowers, just planted wild ones, so that in the future, their great-grandchildren can see where they made a promise to each other.''

Joel and Ethan Coen have signed on to work on Angelina Jolie’s next project, EW confirmed Monday. The Oscar-winning screenwriters (Adapted for No Country For Old Men, and Original for Fargo), have agreed to rewrite the script for a film about Lou Zamperini, a former Olympian who was captured by the Japanese Navy while serving as an Air Force pilot in World War II. Jolie will direct. The script will be based on Laura Hillenbrand’s best-selling 2010 novel Unbroken, but the idea of a Zamperini project has been in the works for decades, with versions by screenwriters such as William Nicholson (Gladiator) and Richard LaGravanese (The Bridges of Madison County). After Zamperini’s B-24 crashed in the Pacific, he and two crew mates (one died at sea) survived on a tiny raft for 47 days, only to be taken prisoner and held in a Japanese internment camp for two and a half years. Assumed to be dead, Zamperini received a hero’s welcome upon his return to the United States and later returned to Japan to carry the Olympic torch at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, not far from where he had been imprisoned during WWII. This will be Jolie’s first narrative feature since In The Land of Blood And Honey, her directorial debut. The Coen brothers, meanwhile, are best known for their success writing and directing their own projects – though they have written scripts for other directors, including Michael Hoffman’s Gambit, with Alan Rickman and Cameron Diaz, which should be released in the United States sometime in 2013. Regardless, this is an interesting, high-profile partnership on a story that seems to have awards potential written all over it.
