The tabloid, which repeatedly shows it has no idea what’s really going on with the couple, claims that a “bombshell new report” reveals Pitt’s “secret past involvement with Scientology,” and explains how the actor may now be again linked to the controversial religion.According to Star, “the situation has reached a boiling point behind closed doors” as Jolie is “directing her anger at Brad over his possible renewed interest” in the church, apparently because Pitt has allegedly spent time with their neighbor, noted Scientologist Giovanni Ribisi.“In early August, she flipped out on him after finding some Scientology recruitment brochures, probably left behind after one of Giovanni’s visits,” explains a so-called “friend” of the couple. “Brad suggested she casually read through them, but Angie tossed them in the trash and furiously told Brad she didn’t want any of ‘that kind’ of material in their home.”Isn’t it amazing how Star always seems to have eyewitnesses behind closed doors for these private Jolie-Pitt arguments?Anyway, the majority of the “bombshell” story involves details about Pitt’s life 20 years ago.For instance, Star notes that Pitt dated Juliette Lewis in the early 1990s, and that Lewis credits Scientology’s Narconon anti-drug program with helping her beat drug addiction. The tabloid also cites former Scientologist Jenna Miscavige Hill as saying that Pitt spent time in the church’s Celebrity Centre two decades ago, and “may have been going through their drug detox Purification Rundown program.”Star then mentions that Pitt starred alongside Tom Cruise in 1994′s Interview with the Vampire.“I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom had tried to get Brad interested in Scientology back then,” the “friend” tells the tabloid.Wait a minute. Is Star seriously using the fact that Pitt had contact with Scientologists 20 years ago — and the allegation that he’s now friendly with Ribisi — as evidence that he’s on the verge of embracing Scientology? There’s NO fight in the Pitt-Jolie household over Scientology — Star just can’t help creating alleged fights between them.A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the latest report is a “joke.”

We can always count on Lady Gaga for being unpredictable on the red carpet. The "Applause" singer showed up at the 2013 MTV VMAs not in an egg or in a meat dress (bo-ring!) but in a rather understated yet sexy look that channeled Angelina Jolie's goth ensemble at the 2000 Oscars."Mother Monster", as her fans dub her, sported a more laidback look complete with Jolie-esque raven hair, natural makeup and a long black Prabal Gurung dress which wasn't quite as sexy and Angie's Elvira-inspired gown but was definitely not as avant-garde as most of her former outfits (see Kermit jacket). So, what's going on? Is that really Lady Gaga underneath the nearly makeup-free face and a dress that has an actual sparkly sash tied around it?Fortunately, we were able to breathe a sigh of relief when the high heel lover got up on stage and changed not once, but a fabulous five times. Now that's the Gaga we know and love.
